I was helped by two great employees, Diana and Maribel. They helped to find a fridge that was within our budget. We had gone to 3 other Best Buys for the open box sale, but made our purchase at this one because they had great communication skills which is the most fundamental people skill because it encompasses your persona and ability to actively listen. Went here for my first midnight release event, nintendo switch event. I had an amazing time. They hosted a tourney with good prizes and provided a lot of pizza. Tickets were handed out early enough so we didnt have to wait in line the whole time. Amazing experience. Reason for 4 star is that they were tricking people into buying expensive SD cards. They were telling everyone "legend of zelda alone takes up 27 gb(which no its 13)" They did not explain thats if you download it. I came in to find a bluethtooth with my cousin and it seemed al the options except one brand were nearly $50.00 I don't know if its just me or what but the prices here are really expensive! and the customer service is lack luster. Most other best buys I've been in greet you at the door and ask if you have a best buy card for reward points. this one did not. they are depriving their customers from saving and well a good experience. Especially since your paying for overpriced you can likely buy online unless you're unwilling to wait for it to be shipped and don't want to pay extra for overnight. From the snarky, narcissistic salesman to the disrespectful delivery guy, the service was absolutely unforgettable. I have never had to bite my tongue so many times. The delivery guy would not take off his shoes upon entering my home. He said he would just leave the heavy 55" inch TV down by my entrance door since he refused to even put covers on his shoes. Yuck! I don't know where you've been stepping and you aren't stepping in to my home to track in filth. He said that Best Buy doesn't allow them to take off their shoes. How disrespectful! I suggested the Towne Center Best Buy off of the 91 Freeway and Alameda in Compton to my friend who wanted to purchase a 65. Inch 4K Ultra High Definition LED screen TV. We got there a hour before closing and didn't think there was enough time to select the set he was interested in. To our surprise Dave the sales associate was super helpful. He was on point and knew his inventory and specs for the array of high tech equipment. My friend decuded on the Visio 65" 4K Pro Series set and a Sony UHD Blue-ray dvd player and dvds and we were out the door with everything safely packed 5 minutes after closing.What a great impression Dave left. Highly recommend this Best Buy and will be back myself to get my Ultra High Definition LED screen TV soon. read more

Arrived right before 6pm to pickup my online order which was ready for pick up that I needed before my contractor comes in the morning to close the walls on my home renovation. Curbside app kept failing and walked up to ask if I can pick up the item at 6:02pm and the security says the system turns off at 6 and is unable to release my product. Has me wait 15mins to see a manger for her to tell me that she cannot let me in because there is too many people in the store still but during the 15min wait about 10 people walked out. I did not want to go into the store I just wanted to pick up my order that was 3 cables and said I can just stay out here and just scan my order so I can be on my way but the manager proceeds to say her GM says no even though the did not speak to anyone. Not sure why the GM would say no to money when traffic is low because I really was trying to spend $130 for 3 cables when the employee price would have been less than $20 for all 3. Also if the system was down at 6, why are customers still in the store purchasing items? Why did they allow over the ALLOWED amount of customers in the store during COVID regulations? Store pickup is not a tedious task as they can use mobile scanners to release product when they did actual curbside pickup so the supervisor of customer service did not have great service. Went to target and bought 3 comparable cables for the nice available markup of $50. Be weary of this store as they are breaking many rules and regulations and do not care much about customer service. read more

Poor customer service ,my husband came in and brought a sound bar for about 900.00 dollars took it home and discovered he needed some kind of adapter another 30.00 ,took it home still it didn't work remind you this was the same day , the manager would not let the cashier give back his cash said she would only government 100.00 dollars and wait for a check in the mail. ,jeff was happy with this he just gave 900.00 cash do you know they snook and called the Sherrod depth and said he was belligerent all because he wanted his cash back after he gave back messed up sound bar ,don't ever get anything expensive because they're not right ,anything bad could have happened with them calling police ,thankfully the police saw his side but they still didn't give cash back he was send a check a week later don't do business with them. read more

Was here for the Kendrick Lamar meet and greet on 4/20 and DAMN was it the worst thing ever! It was blazing hot about 100 degrees, over 3000 people in line to see K DOT. Waited for almost 7 hours (4hrs to buy the album and 3 to see Kendrick). Everybody I came across we're straight butt-holes; annoying and just plain rude. The workers here at Best-Buy though kept it cool, composed, and Humble even when dealing with all the poop that the customers gave them. The best and most kind employee there was definitely the beautifully kind young lady DIANA at the cash register. She was extremely nice and her mood was great. Best-Buy must show Love to Diana, and customers must be Loyal to this specific store and Best-Buy in general. Amazing. read more

Take the contract from Best Buy in Compton @230 Towne Center Dr, Compton, CA 90220. They did Shady and fraudelent stuff with my iphone6s Plus. The person's name is Isaiah. Instead of replacing the faulty battery that was installed by best buy, he did a bait and switch with my phone. Something I didn't authorize. Plus he charged me a $363.00 Best Buy Service fee to send my phone to apple, and I was not going to get it back, @ my expense. But told me the fee was for the cost of a new phone. The phone that he claimed was a new phone, was a refurbished phone with a damage and broke screen. Had I not contacted Apple and spoke to a supervisor about the situation (Tianna), Isaiah would've been able to complete his fraudulent transaction with no problem. Instead the store manager had to return my $363.00, cancel the transaction, place a request from Apple to return my phone, and when the store get it back, put in a non faulty battery in my iphone, something that I previously paid for! Apple need to pull their contract from this store. I'm sure I'am not the only person they have done this too. I just help them get caught with the assistance of a supervisor from Apple support. read more
