I come to this Best Buy once a week to buy Pokemon cards. When I needed appliances and a new content creation camera I knew I wanted to buy from the people that always help me. AJ is such a good sales person. I stopped by to buy a freezer and ended up buying a dishwasher as well along with the total package to ensure the items for an extra two years. AJ is such a good representative for the type of service that all Best Buy's should want to offer. He's very knowledgeable and I had a lot of information about installation and preparing for delivery. Nick helped me buy the camera. I cannot tell you how helpful he was and helping me to figure out which camera to purchase. I am very grateful for his assistance! Normally, I don't like to expend energy writing negative reviews but if it saves someone a headache: Do Not Use this Best Buy for their Geek Squad. I took my daughter's basically new iPad in for a very easy fix (cracked screen covered under apple care) and we were there for an hour getting the run around about how we would need to replace the entire device, pay $100 instead of $30, transfer data etc etc. When asked for explanations, all we were told was "this is how Apple does it." Long story short, the ipad SHOCKINGLY only needed the screen fixed, not a replacement. I left the store and they hadn't even refunded the difference of what they made me overpay. When I went back, they said they didn't know anything about why that happened and refunded the money. They also had factory reset the device and once again, said that was policy ... which may be the case, but I don't have the energy to look into why a device would have to be factory reset just to fix a screen. Agent Harry and Agent Brandon need a bit more training on policy, procedure, and also some development on their customer service in general. read more

Can't believe I have to even write this review, I never usually waste my time, but... My interaction with a young woman; True R was extremely unpleasant. She acted as if she was knowledgeable, but the information she gave was incorrect. Instead of listening or clarifying, she had a condescending attitude and behaved as though helping me was a favor rather than her job. Customer service requires patience, accuracy, and basic respect. Unfortunately, she showed none of those qualities. The dismissive tone and lack of accountability made the entire experience frustrating and unprofessional. Based on this interaction, she should not be working in a customer-facing role if you don't have simple patience or respect. Definitely sad to say, but lost my business over one employee. read more

Received new credit card invoice with no discount. Created dispute with citi bank. Futile efforts in successfully uploading proof/documentation to their website or fax only to have it declined for being past return date. Completely irrelevant to my dispute. My husband lost his expensive glasses and we cannot call the store in Fairless Hills, PA to see if they found them when we were shopping there. Avoid Best Buy if at all possible. Should you require after-care regarding a recent purchase, return or order cancelation you will find that Best Buy offers the absolute worst customer service available in the market today. I am currently engaged in an ongoing customer service issue with Best Buy over a recently canceled order and the full return of my purchase amount to my Best Buy CC. At the time of purchase BB issued a $150 rebate card because of the amount/product purchased. I subsequently canceled the order and expected the entire purchase amount credited back to my CC. BB posted a credit for everything except the $150 for the rebate card. The $150 is now appearing as a charge on my CC account. I have chatted, and spoken to customer service about 6-7 times trying to get someone to understand that the rebate card should have been canceled with the order cancelation so my CC would receive the full purchase amount back. As of a week today no one seems to be able to resolve this issue. I've been told it will be canceled but nothing has happened. I've tried to escalate the issue to customer service supervisors and managers but was told they will not transfer me. They insist that they can only transfer me to another department into a que where I will need to start over again from scratch to try to get resolution. This astounds me!!! I repeated my request to speak to a supervisor / manager and stated that there must be an escalation process where as a customer can seek manager assistance. This time I was told they could transfer me because there was a supervisor meeting and therefore would transfer me to another department for servicing. No matter how many times I insisted on speaking to a manager I was put off and told there is no manager that would speak to me. I was then told they were an overseas call center without managers that could assist but they could place a not in my BB account making an appointment for a US based manager to call me in an hour or two. Well it's been way more than 2 hours and I've received no call from anyone at Best Buy. Throughout this ordeal I have opened 3 case ID's regarding this issue to no avail. I finally have submitted a CC dispute to Citi Bank who brands the BB CC. I hope Citi can resolve this issue on my behalf as at this point I feel BB has defrauded my BB CC by not returning the full purchase amount exactly as they charged me. I'd hate for others to experience this situation which is why I say avoid them If at all possible. read more

Absolutely pitiful customer service. I strongly suggest you purchase elsewhere. We purchased a brand new gaming computer back at the end of September. We have had nothing but problems with it. I had a personal friend in IT look at it and he told me it was a lemon. There is something internally wrong with it and it's only a month old. You can't get anyone on the phone at Best Buy in Fairless Hills! I waited on hold for 40 min, they finally answered and said they'd put me through to a manager and then hung up on me. Best Buy Corporate is no better - they are just a call center with customer service reps who can't do anything for you. Corporate tells you they will take care of you and schedules your appointment but when you show up to the store, they do not honor anything that was said to you at Corporate. Corporate told us they'd fix the computer for us at no charge. Lies. I am totally disgusted by my entire experience with this company. One of the manager's at the store offered a poor excuse for customer service without any resolution. The icing on the cake is that they told us if we purchased this item in December, the return policy would've allowed us to return within the 30 day window. But because we bought it in September, we are screwed with an unusable, $1000 paper weight. I will never purchase another product from Best Buy again and I will share my experience with every family member, friend, acquaintance, and anyone I come across. My boyfriend bought a gift for me from Best Buy for Christmas, unfortunately I didn't like the item he got. But with the holidays/work/snow we weren't able to go to Best Buy until today to return the item. The purchase was made on 12/16, we assumed we had until 1/31 (as most holiday return policies are). Today is 1/20 and we went in to make the return - the associate said the return date has expired - said it was 1/13. Told us that was their holiday return date cutoff. So we asked if we could get store credit since the item was never even open, which they said they do not offer. Such a rip off. I bought my son a tv on 12/9/22 or Christmas...they guaranteed delivery on Christmas Eve... I called in the morning and was told delivery between 10:00 to 2:00 pm. Waited no delivery called back at 2:30.. was on hold for an hour before I even talked to someone... I was told the tv is out of stock and delivery would have to be rescheduled . Definitely not what it used to be . I went to the store 3 days to get an Apple Watch . The young man in Apple completely ignored me as I stood there and continued to have personal conversations with another person . When I asked if I could purchase the watch he responded as if I bothered him sighed etc and then said they didn't have it . Online it says the have it . Went back the next day and my order was cancelled . Today I went back and after leaving my name and number in the front of the store waiting for assistance another employee approaches the apple desk and begins to help a woman who had just arrived . Stopped in because I needed a mouse and it was one of those rare moments where I couldn't wait for Amazon to deliver one. For that purpose Best Buy is great. I got a parking spot right up front, the associate knew exactly where to direct me and I got what I wanted in moments. That said, do people still shop here? I certainly don't unless I'm desperate for some random computer accessories and I guess I'm not alone; the place was dead empty when I was there on a Thursday at 4pm. Doesn't seem to be a very good sign as far as survivability goes. With Radio Shack, Circuit City and now HH Gregg out of business, it doesn't seem like Best Buy is going to last very long. Amazon is just totally killing it 99% of the time. I can get most items that Best Buy sells within a day and many within hours. I just don't see Best Buy keeping up. That's a shame. Just two weeks ago, I spent almost $2,000.00 on a new iBuyPower gaming computer. I got this upgrade because I have two monitors I want to use at the same time. After a few days, I can no longer get any video output on more than one monitor. I called Best Buy and they tell me that I have to pay $99.99 in order to get a tech to "review" my problem. I've been using computers for 30 years, and this is rediculous. The video card has a problem. They should just fix it. The other option is that I could break down my setup and bring the computer in, but no guarantee that I would not be required to buy additional parts/pieces/repairs. Do yourself a favor and do NOT buy ANY complex electronics from Best Buy, because even three weeks after you buy it, they won't work to make the problem go away. read more

Associates are absolutely clueless. I came in looking for an S pen for my laptop, I should've known the associate didn't know much when he initially tried to sell me a pen that I knew wouldn't be compatible. I pulled up the kind of laptop I had on my phone and said I need the pen that goes with this laptop, he looks up on his little tablet thing some stuff and says that the pen is out of stock but we can order it and ship it to your home. I receive the pen and cannot connect it, I initially think it's my fault and try to get a few people to help. I find out that the associate ordered a stylus pen for the S21 phone and not for my laptop that I told him specifically what it was. Don't waste your time shopping or ordering from Best Buy Oxford Valley. Their "curbside delivery" promises ten minute service, but it's really more than an hour. (Their excuse: "Our website doesn't update the wait time.") Be prepared to wait if you want to shop in the store. And don't believe their on-line inventory. There are lots of items listed as in-stock at the store that are really out of stock. (Their excuse: "Our website doesn't update the inventory.") Order from Amazon or some other place where you know what you can get and how long you'll have to wait. Now they sent me an email saying that I picked up the order that I didn't pick up. It's next to impossible to get hold of a customer servant representative to fix the problem. The one that I talked to said that she couldn't fix the problem. Spent $3000 on TVs , Sound Bars , delivery and installation the first week of July 2022. The Geeks we paid extra to deliver and install . They partially finish the first day . They were suppose to come out the next week ( appoints verified ) to finish the job . They were a no show . Went into the store to get a confirmation on a new appointment. Each appointment gets canceled by email . They now want us to wait 6 weeks before they finished their install . The staff in the store has been great . It's the behind the scenes geek squad schedulers . I recommend not buying anything from Best Buy . Hire a private company ( a surround sound theatre business) to buy ur TVs and installation. Also don't waste ur money on Geek Squad support , on the phone they don't know a thing . read more

I surprisingly had a pretty good experience. The first time I went in looking for a replacement car stereo, the representative acted like I was bothering him on his day off. Whatever, I didn't really need anyone at that point. The second time I went in, to actually close the sale, the salesman was top notch. The unit I found included free installation (I've done car radios before, but if its included, let someone else do it!) and I had all sorts of discounts and coupons (yes, really). It took us over half an hour to ring up the sale with the adjustments and all, but I wasn't in a hurry, he was a good sport, and I saved some $$$. The bummer was that I had to wait 2 weeks for an installation, but he annotated the ticket so that I could pick up what I needed the day before my appointment. Everything arrived on time and I went in to have the radio installed. There were a couple hiccups (couldn't find the antenna in customer pickup but had one in the installation bay, the installer couldn't drive a stick LOL) but it went well. Will I go back to BB? Depends on what it is. The next project is a remote starter for another car. I'm going to pay the extra and take it to a specialist. But for something simple, probably. read more

Took the "techs'" advice on a dependable computer. Huge mistake. Trouble from the beginning. The computer co. even tried to say it was out of warrantee, but their date was when they shipped it to BestBuy. Long story short, I had to pay to ship it to the manufacturer, when I finally got it back, it is now a lighted paperweight. Acer is a piece of crap loaded with more crap programs that were such a pain, and now after re-downloading everything, nothing works properly at all. BestBuy wanted nothing to do with in since the beginning. Don't waste your money. Recently, purchased on line an Apple Watch for the holidays. I received an e-mail it was ready for pick up....when I checked out I asked the cashier if my husband did not want the watch can I return it. She quickly replied..."no problem." When he went to return the watch they wanted to charge him a $45 restocking fee. When I checked out on line to purchase said product nothing was mentioned about a restocking fee. When my husband confronted the store manager, Mr. Deitzel, he politely claimed my wife signed a waiver...when asked to see said document he ignored me. She did not sign anything. I love my husband dearly, but he is a klutz! He is right handed and why he insisted when using his Laptop to rest his drink to the left of the keyboard is beyond me. Twice, he has managed to soak those keys with coffee and a coke. The first time, I sent the Laptop out to be fixed and it took well over 6 months and cost almost as much as a new Laptop would and still never worked right. The other one just sang horrible tunes, so we pitched it. Tis the season to be spending, so this time I have relented, since he is using the first refurbished one and constantly muttering unmentionables. Santa Baby checked out websites after websites and finally decided on a 17" Toshiba Laptop with 3 gigs of memory and 250 gigs of hard drive for $500. and change at Best Buy. It is the Satellite Series. I called, they had it in store and when I went to purchase it they tried to charge me the store price of $200. more than the Internet price. I being the good Elf that I am had printed out this on line Ad and they corrected the price. Total with tax came to $548.00. I have always bought my computers at Best Buy and I have always been happy with my purchases. This place is nothing special, except for their excellent location. They stock a large amount of items (except their video game selection could be beefed up), and you can basically get anything you want shipped here online. Also, the staff are pretty knowledgeable. When we needed to get something fixed at their Geek Squad, it was pretty quick. We had bought a laptop online, and the tracking pad had become nonfunctional within the 1 year warranty period. We brought it in, the Geek Squad rep said we could send it in ourselves (and it would be faster), or they could send it in for us. We opted for them to do all the work. It was ready within the stated time period. When we came back to get it, it was a little annoying because it was one of those days they weren't prepared for as many customers who showed up. So something simple as just picking up our laptop took a very long time to happen. Otherwise, not a bad store, and easy to deal with. read more

This is not what it used to be. Unless you want to buy a TV or a computer, the choice has gone down a lot. They used to have music, and a huge choice of DVDs and Blurays, but now it's just there. You can still find good deals on the blurays especially, but the whole place feel like it's about to shut down. Much less employees and very little choice.
