Such a bad experience every time I visit this location. Yesterday was the clincher for me. I came in to look for sound bars and found an open box one that I need the price for. After waiting more than ten minutes one sales associate walks out of the warehouse and sees me and immediately turns the other way. At that point I decide to walk over to the front and see if can flag one associate down. I notice an employee finishing up with a client and I immediately ask him if I can get some help. He immediately waves me off and says are you in the Que? I ask what is the cue and I realize it's a waiting list. By then I hit my last nerve and I walk out! Never again! read more

The gentleman working here went to get help at geek squad and was asking if they could replace my battery on my iPhone. He took a while so I went over to see if he found anything out. They both then came over to me. The geek squad guy tells me" we keep your phone for 5-7 days, then we can fix it within 4 hours." I then asked him why would you keep my phone hostage for that many days when I'm paying in full for something I NEED and will come back to get done. He said" because people don't come back after the parts are placed and ordered. I've been working here since July, and this is what I've been told" I told him," I don't care when you got hired. That's bullshit. And thanked the best buy worker who initially helped me. Then walked away. I called iTech express and they had my phone ready within an hour and they were so nice. awful customer service. been a customer here for more than 10 years and it takes a lot for me to bother someone with a question. but when i do i expect someone willing to actually answer my questions. i had to go through old texts with my brother (WHOS DEAD) to figure out what computer i had to ask for what charger i needed because my charger is lost. and the employee didn't even look at my phone and just pointed in a direction and said when i asked for a SECOND time for help he didn't know the wattage of my computer so he can't really help because what he had in his inventory might not work for my computer ruin in more... mind you its not my fault i got this computer from them 5 years ago and my dying grandfather wanted to use it. also maybe let your customers speak and ask the full question before you answer what you THINK they are asking. i wish i got his name but he's in the back near the laptops with glasses and an under shave and pony tail with glasses. i'm sure he'll laugh at this review but i hope yalls management takes the proper action. ps, found the charger online for $10. the $70 one i had to beg for help to find that he was trying to sell me:) read more

I met with Alex Cardenas who was extremely polite and knowledgeable about the current issues with Apple and what could be the issue. Alex immediately found out that the issue was minor and would not require any heavy maintenance. He assured me that if any issues continued to come back and he would be happy to assist me. This Glendora Best Buy gave me a used Nintendo switch that has been opened and returned. I did not buy a used or refurbished console. I bought a brand new one. I wasn't able to inspect it because my husband picked it up on his way to work. It even had remnants of human hair in the box and all the wires have been unraveled. One of the controllers even was blinking in the box as if it was unpaired. There even is a green sticker on the outside of the box and I know that is for a return. Sucks now because I have to find another Best Buy that will have a Nintendo Switch. Why would I want to go to this shiesty store for my return? Only to give back their shiesty product. So today I went into the store to purchase some Apple AirPods. However, you only can get them at checkout or even look at them in check out. So I went to check out and there was a big line and I didn't even know if they even had them. They only had one cashier working which meant, I had to wait in line for 30 minutes just to see if they even have them in stock. So I left ordered them online through the Apple store and I'm picking them up in Pasadena. And they need to have a better system in place because they're losing money and that's on the manager. I asked the cashier if they had them in stock and she told me I'm gonna have to wait. Unfortunately, the manager was not doing their job to see that this cashier could not handle the crowd. Bad business. I'm considering canceling my total tech as well. read more

Last week, my Wife and I called Best Buy and ordered some things to be delivered and installed next week. Today, my Wife was finalizing everything when she realized Best Buy had a previous address in the system for us. I called and talked to someone, and he seemed very confused, as he tried to back out the order and correct our address. He said I would need to come in to the store to finish fixing the problem. I came in tonight, and Tristan helped. From the beginning, he did everything to correct the issue. In the end, he ended up helping us save money that I hadn't expected. He solved our problem in fairly short order. Tristan was very friendly and helpful. We've always liked Best Buy and have had some big purchases from there. This situation was not entirely their fault, but I was very satisfied with the way it was resolved. read more

The employees don't know what they are talking about and they often lie to you about their order. They refuse to work with you and there have been multiple times I've put items back or cancelled orders because of difficult employees. My recommendation is to just go online or to go to another nearby store. If they could get better employees this place would be nominally better. read more

One person was pretty upset that he had to wait so long because they gave him wrong charger previously. Highly recommend signing up to get help immediately when you arrive. My partner had a HORRIBLE experience with one of the check out ladies (short and possibly Hispanic) and the manager yesterday. Wouldn't let him hold the Apple TV box to make sure everything was intact, not damaged, etc. before purchasing. Maybe this was policy, maybe prejudice due to my partner being African American, either way provided no explanation as to why he could not hold the box for inspection. Finally they ended up letting him inspect it but why was he given so much trouble? As a manager of a business for 10+ years, I would never ever handle the situation like these two did, super disappointing! On a much better note, today we were checking out tv's and sound bars. I believe the first guy who helped us was Alex R., very knowledgeable and provided lots of info for the 2 tvs we were looking at. We decided on a sound bar in which Baxley helped us with. There was one available in store and he searched all around the store as well as in the back with no such luck. We ended up finding it in the front but wanted to express our appreciation for him looking for 20+ minutes. I went in today to purchase an iPhone 14 Pro and they were extremely helpful. I brought in my old iPhone for a trade in and they made sure that all of my data was transferred to the new phone. I'm extremely glad that I went to the store in person because setting up the eSIM took a while as it ran into some issues. I was returning a keyboard for the iPad which I bought there and of course I had a receipt. the cashier kept checking the keyboard for damages and kept staring at it and the computer screen so at this point I asked him what are you doing? he replied that he is matching the serial number and checked the box which he commented that the serial number does not match. When I asked him he just pointed his finger where it would be at, as if he couldn't lead the way. Decided to ask another associate because I couldn't find where Mike told me to go. Didn't think this place could get any worse.. walked into the greeter watching YouTube .. geek squad wouldn't take me in because I did not have an appointment to drop off my camera because they are booked for the day , which is never told to you when you buy there extended warranty .. they ask I see customer service rep to make an appointment, I see customer service and he tells me they can me me in 10 minutes lol, what?! 2 nice gentleman come out and take care of me pretty quickly at least. Issue is this Is my second time bringing the camera in for the exact same issue. The first time my camera was repaired they made me set a reservation for pick up.. I arrive to my appointment and my geek squad is unable to answer any of my questions and told me to call the 800 number. Why even set the apt?? He returned everything and was told return fee Ok plus T mobile 40 dollar activation fee Ok Almost 2 months later he gets a bill from T mobile threatening his credit bill past due 155 dollars he returned phone within 6 days total necer used it. T mobile says phone is still activated and they and Best Buy are giving my 85 year old father the run around at the store and even hanging up on us that's the T. Mobil side. I like this Best Buy. It is much more organized than the one in West Covina and there is actually room to walk around in without bumping into a TV at every turn. The service here is also much better as associates seem more friendly and attentive. I came in to buy a vacuum a few days ago and the cashier was nice enough to check prices online for me so that I would get it at the best possible price. I thought that was definitely going above and beyond and am beyond grateful for the kind gesture. read more
