What a great find! Food was very flavorful, and while I wouldn't say it's the best ceviche ever, their other dishes are delicious and you get a good size portion for the price. Great to go with a group so you can all try different dishes like my family did. PURPLE DRINK: 5/5 I don't remember the official name but just get it! Yummy and refreshing. Their red sangria is good, too. JALEA MIXTA: 5/5 The seafood was so fresh and tender and fried perfectly without too much breading. I will order this again next time. The name of the restaurant is a lofty goal to live up to, so you might already arrive with some misgivings as I did, because, why would the best ceviche ever at a restaurant call itself so? Well, sorry to say the ceviche was mediocre at best, especially for the price point. We ordered papas a la huancaina and ceviche mixto, both of which were just ok. We asked for medium spice level in the ceviche, but I tasted not even the slightest hint of spice- just loads of lime juice. There was one mussel swimming in the lime juice, and it was closed so I didn't dare eat it, but my boyfriend didn't want the lone mussel to go to waste, so he pried it open and risked having an upset stomach later. Aside from the red onion slices, calamari, shrimp, and fish, I did not see much else in the dish..not even pieces of hominy. Everything was quickly eaten and quickly paid for. Second visit and final visit! The first time I was at fault and ordered the wrong dish so I accepted it and decided on a second visit later on. Armed with the right name, I chose the seafood paella. This place is great! I love the service, the staff is extremely nice and helpful. The ceviche is pretty good, I usually ask for more rocoto on the side as I like it really hot. The Aji de Gallina, Cabrito a la Norteña, Lomito con frijol, y Tacu Tacu are pretty amazing as well. The prices are alright for the amount of food they serve. Pretty cozy place. Been wanting to try this, ordered the mixed ceviche and it was Ok, but so super spicy I couldn't enjoy it. My mouth was on fire. It said it came with octopus, but it barely had any in it. To start the portions are very small overall for the price. All the food is extremely over salted. The Jalea didn't seem to be fresh seafood as well as the batter on the seafood was very soggy. Our first time eating Peruvian food. My husband ordered a Ceviche spicy and he was sweating before he was half done lol. They were out of the shredded chicken dish I wanted so I chose a beef dish. Disclaimer: My experience may be tied to a soccer match that involved Peru vs Argentina. Place has a nice look to it. Everything was very clean and orderly, and wait staff was very polite. With that being said I never received a water refill but again the game was going on during my visit. I don't watch soccer but I get it. Food was ok. The ceviche had such a strong flavor besides the lemon that it over powered the seafood. Shrimps had shells on the tail. A bit odd from my own experiences. I also had a paella style dish that had so much cilantro I could not taste my wife's dish when I tried it. The seafood on this plate didn't taste fresh although it was ok. She didn't care much for her food. It was a white rice with ripped chicken and a sauce dish. She felt it was bland. Best ceviche ever? Not really. This restaurant opened kitchen three weeks ago and is average at best. Here is why: Food - Peruvian food is famous for not only exciting flavors but daring presentation. We ordered a ceviche plate de "tres colores" which is supposed to feature three types of ceviche. When the plate arrived everything was lumped together with no distinct flavor or style. The pork tamale we ordered to accompany the ceviche as an appetizer was ok and the chicha morada was quite good. For our main course we ordered lomo saltado (good), picante de mariscos ( good but not at all spicy), and pescado sudado ( so flavorless we barely touched it). Fortunately the service was quite In tune with the table. When the server noticed we hadn't liked the pescado sudado, she took it off our final check and offered us a complimentary dessert of picarones. Because the restaurant is so new and the do seem to be trying, i would return to see if they have improved the quality of their food. For now, don't expect to be wowed but if you have a craving for Peruvian food a visit may provide a temporary fix... At least until you can make it down to the always impressive ceviche 105 in Miami. read more

More like WORST CEVICHE EVER! Let me just start by saying that when we go out , my family and myself , we always tip exceptionally and In return we expect great customer service . Tonight was my mother's birthday & we were the biggest table in the restaurant but got treated less importantly then everyone else . It took 20 minutes to get our drinks refilled & then almost two hours to receive our food . THEN AFTER ALL OF THAT, it took almost 45 minutes to get our bills!!!. After finally receiving our checks , we noticed the bills weren't mathematically correct because the server added more percentage to her tip! Then after complaining about the awful service to the manager , she didn't even try to accommodate us in any way. I was in the restaurant business for years and that's no way to treat customers . And to be completely honest , the food was not all that. I'm Peruvian & I have to say I've HAD WAYY BETTER . We should have went to DR LIMON , where the food is exceptional and the service is outstanding. I'm so disappointed to have celebrated my mother's birthday here. Definitely NEVER coming back . If you're a Peruvian and really love authentic Peruvian food , definitely go elsewhere. read more

Great food. Walking in I didn't know what to get so I asked what was my servers 3 favorite dishes. I picked one of his factories which was a tacu tacu meal with seafood and a pepper sauce I believe(yellow sauce) amazing.(been there 3 times and have gotten the same thing) I also picked out what he said was his favorite ceviche dish, got it medium heat and in all Honesty it was the best ceviche I've had yet. So so good. I see the reviews about the service, but honestly in these shops, with it being inconsistent patrons in the plaza a lot of times the staff is short and takes some time, but in our case it was fair amount of time to get the food and it was well worth it. They were very personable and the food and sangria tasted great. Definitely recommended, go there with an open mind. read more
