He first asked me questions to see if I really needed his services. Per my answers, he really didn't see an issue. But I made an appointment just to make sure. John was super nice and answered all of my questions. The outside vent cover was super old and brittle and he replaced it. I was watching everything he was doing so I could learn. He pointed out some things to keep an eye out for, but with my setup he said that I should never need service. And if anyone said so, he'd be skeptical. I told him that's why I had his number in my phone. He provided a lot of value with the information he was sharing with me. Trustworthy and all around nice guy. I highly recommend his services.

Then proceeded to pre-clean all the vents with a HEPA Festool. They realized that one of the ducts was disconnected and even crawled under the house to reattach it for no extra charge! They showed us how the negative air machine works and the filter they use in the negative air machine before - and after carefully exiting with the dirty ones. Later we were able to inspect them outside! There were playing cards, a pine cone, and a massive, disgusting amount of dust/grime among other things. They uploaded a bunch of before and after pictures of the ducts along with the invoice and sent an email after they left. The technicians, Andreas & Cody, called me 50 minutes before arrival, right arrived pretty close to the promised time. I knew there was construction down the street so I figured they would be delayed due to stopped traffic. The two arrived in a well-marked truck and was immediately professional. They took time to explain the negative pressure vacuum system they use, which involved hooking up a large hose to the main duct trunk near the furnace. They wore boot covers inside the house, which I appreciated. Once finished, they sealed up the access holes they created cleanly. There were only two rooms where they forgot to move furniture back in place. The immediate difference was significant: the air in the house feels fresher and less "stuffy," and the HVAC system runs noticeably quieter. I am confident that the removal of years of dust and allergens will benefit our household, especially during allergy season. Pricing was transparent and communication was excellent, and the technicians called when they were on their way and arrived right on time. While inspecting the ducting, they discovered a section that needed to be fixed. My home warranty would cover that fix, but only if I use their approved contractor. So I couldn't have J&M Services fix the duct nor clean the ducting that day. They ended up only charging me for the dryer vent cleaning that they were able to complete that day. They were very honest and helpful, and I will definitely be calling on them again for their services. Highly recommend!
