Came in at 8:40pm, sat in the blue room for 15 minutes then got seated. Except waited 20 minutes until someone came to take our order and another 54 minutes after until our food came. Sourdough was great & so was the bacon. Hash brows we're unlimited except they were just mushy and felt uncooked under the top layer. I came to this place for two reasons. 1. It was on Man v. Food 2. We came from the bars and chinatown wasn't on our minds. I got the chicken fried steak, and I'm not sure if it was because I was drunk, but it was pretty good! The batter on it was perfect, nice light, fluffy and crispy. and the chicken was tender, and juice! I usually get gravy on the side when i get chicken fried steak, but I forgot to this time, and totally do not regret it! A lot of places make their gravy salty, and that's why i get it on the side, but at beth's it went with the chicken perfect! it was creamy, and delicious, not over-salty at all! Beside the fact that this place is open 24 hours, they are still great! the waiter knew we were dehydrated from drinking and brought us a ton of water! we didnt even have to ask! This place has a ton of character too, they have customer doodles all over the wall and some of it is absolutely cool and adorable. Interesting atmosphere. There are colored coloring sheets and crayon colored pictures all over the restaurant walls. Very different breakfast restaurant I would say. The workers seem to be super hipster and different from the people I've met in Seattle. I came in because of all the interesting reviews I saw before coming into the restaurant from out of state so I was expecting much, especially seeing featured episode of the restaurant on T.V. HUGE portions for their price. I got the unlimited hash brown deal and the first batch was slightly too soft and not crispy enough for my taste. The second batched I asked for it crispier! It was a little tad bit too greasy for my taste but still really yummy! Very good breakfast food! Great place. Great food and prices. Staff was very attentive and respectful. They were quick to take our order and bring our order. The Epic chocolate cake is to die for. It is a little pricey but it is made for a couple to share so do not order 1 per person. There are a lot of great customer hand drawn photos all over walls for great conversation topics. Some of them are really funny and mostly PG rated. Excellent place to take a first date to. If the conversation drags you can always talk about the funny comments / corrections on the pictures. There are some places you go because they are from your formidable years. Your years of self discovery. Late nights with friends and coffee. Pinball and jukeboxes. A place you can call yours and where you always feel welcome regardless of who is working, new employees, old employees, and the odd or even regular. Beth's is that place. Once on Food Network's Man vs Food for it's 12 egg omelette, this unlimited hash browns establishment is one of the few things that remain from a well spent youth. With what I would describe as Crowd Sourced Wallpaper, all of Beth's is decorated with the scribbles, sketches, and sometimes spectacular works of art drawn by the patrons with provided crayons and paper. A juke box and a 24 hour door round this place out as one of the best things you could do any time of day. The food is exactly what you would expect from a greasy spoon diner. Well cooked food. Great options. Large tables. But watch out for the waitlist. Busy weekend nights and mornings can lead to very long wait times. But as one of the last bastions of the 24 dive and one of the closest places to my heart, I will make this a place to go every time I return to Seattle. This is a No Pretense establishment. Don't expect special treatment. Be aware of how busy it is. The waitstaff is incredible as long as you are not regrettable. read more

The hashbrown is sooo buttery, although I suggest ordering it extra crispy if you like some crunchiness. I was physically threatened by a person who worked here named CJ who threatened to steal my dog multiple times, threatened me, and called me an entitled little b*tch and c*nt multiple times (he also said I had never been discriminated against because I didn't have tattoos even though I do have tattoos?? It was super weird). The meal ended up getting comped, but the person who identified himself as the manager pretended he didn't hear the threat to my physics safety. I made a police report against the two men because they threatened me multiple times. The meal ended up getting comped and I left a tip because the server was kind enough to comp it. But yea, a business should never operate in a way that I could make a police report against an employee and the person who said he was the manager egged his employee on. Beth's, known for its 12 egger omelet (no i haven't had the pleasure of eating one), morbid and sometimes funny crayon drawings from every walks of life, the good ol' CD jukebox and the noises coming from the tiny arcade in the back. It's the best place to go people watching 3 am morning after St. Paddy's day, where drunken leprechauns and the like enjoy a meager breakfast. When I saw this cafe on the Travle Channel, it was another place I wanted to check out while visiting Seattle a couple of months back. The huge ass omelette looked very appealing. I also wanted to see how the breakfast was like compare to some of the place here in P-Town. Using my trusty GPS, we found the restaurant with ease on a Saturday night. My only worry was that it would be jam packed. When we drove by the place, we saw a ton of people outside. Once we made it inside, my fears eased. Those people I saw were at the bar next door. We got seated towards the back where the kitchen was at. One of the dull waitresses gave us our order and disappeared. We were then approached by another waitress; she was more friendly and quirky too. She agreed to split the checks right away which is recommended saying before ordering. I ordered the 6 egg southern omelette since I knew the 12 would be impossible to eat. My friends ordered basic stuff from the menu since they were still stuffed from "The Crab Pot" at the marketplace earlier. When the food arrived, the omelette looked huge. The salsa and sour cream certainly made it more filling with each bite. I managed to eat half of it before calling it quits. The hashbrowns were nothing special, they tasted like the ones my mom buys at the grocer's freezer. The place is not the cleanest and the food is certainly not the healthiest either. It is open 24 hours so you can have breakfast anytime at this greaser joint. DISGUSTING! A friend and I went here after hearing so much about the place. What a disappointment. The place was filthy--reminded me of an experiment from biology class that went horribly wrong. Our omelet was undercooked and runny in the middle and the hash browns, which we asked to have cooked well done, were completely raw when served. Food was flavorless and greasy. The coffee cup they served my coffee in was chipped and stained with god knows what at the bottom. It was definitely not worth the wait outside in the cold. I've heard this is a good place for people with hangovers to eat...perhaps the fresh vomit on the sidewalk outside should have been a clue (I'm not joking). It features your choice of 6 or 12-egg omletes as well as some "siders" which are scrambles with hash browns. I had the 6-egg triple bypass omlete. My wife had the west sider plus one egg. As you can expect, it is nearly impossible (and ill advised) to finish your breakfast. What stands out, however, is the quality of the food. Everything is very good. The ingredients are high quality and everything is cooked right. The service is even good. The waitress has that take it or leave it diner attitude but your coffee stays full and she gets your order in immediately and the food out quickly. They have a big menu ranging from small bites to average breakfast menu items to your 12 egg omelet. (No one from our group order the omelet because it was claimed that it comes on a pizza platter! Wayyyy too much food!) Oh, by the way, you can make your own omlete too, but if you decide to share your plate of food, it's additional $1.50. [-] The biscuit was terribly dry and the sausage was too salty. What's left? Gravy, scrambled eggs, and a bed of not so good tasting hash brown. This place is kind of legendary, and while the two other people who I went with and I were not quite hungry enough to attempt the 12-egg omelette, we went for the Southwest Exposure 6-egg. It was probably some of the most satisfying food I've had in a while, with the unlimited hash browns and everything. Also, their bacon is pretty crispy and quite delicious overall. It's also fun to look at all the funny pictures people have put up on the walls over the years, and then draw your own. Note: there's more parking in the back, just pass Beth's, take the next right, and then turn into the back alley way. And surprisingly enough, I was actually sober when I went here (for those who don't know, Beth's is notoriously haunted by drunk UW students). I love this place! The atmosphere at night when everything else is closing is great. The food is good too! Prepare to have way too much food though because the "small" omelet is six eggs. They are famous for their omelets but I have had several other things on the menu and they have all been good too. Now the praise aside, we did go one morning when it was much quieter but I was less impressed. Not because it was quiet, when you are sober it is actually kind of nice to be able to hear the person across the table. I however did not want to hear the waitress complain about her job and life in general. She seated us in the booth closest to the waitress station and then we listened to her complain for the entire time. At least have the intelligence to seat us away from you if you wish to complain the entire time that we are there. That is the only bad experience that I have ever had at Beth's though so I will continue to make the trip down to enjoy their omelets and Strawberry jam. Once in a long while when I crave real big breakfast meal, I think of Beth's Cafe. The place is not expensive, serves a large portion (they definitely don't skimp!) and, best of all, I can count on it being open at any time of the day. I personally like this place more than 13 coins (unless you are looking for non-breakfast selection), just because Beth's Cafe is really a local spot (with cheaper prices) and I do want to support a local establishment over a chain restaurant. The food is good and definitely greasy to breakfast foodie's satisfaction (which is why I only try to think of it once every long while!!) but is definitely a good comfort food to eat when you are sad, happy or just for any moments. My favorite is, biscuits with gravy (which comes with 2 eggs, hashbrowns, toasts and jam). I did try to ask for "poached eggs" when they asked how I'd like my eggs cook...and they politely told me..they don't do poached eggs. So I guess I just end up with a greasier option like fried sunny side up eggs with running yolks instead..who am I to cut down on grease, right? Be careful showing up on weekend mornings though. Divey eateries have a special place in my heart, and Beth's is no exception. Famous for its massive 12-egg omelettes, Beth's is an unpretentious diner with customer artwork all over the walls and huge portions that will even intimidate the most ferocious eaters. I ordered the 6-egg Southern Exposure omelette which had delicious chili, salsa, brisket and cheddar cheese. I enjoyed every bite of this, including the massive pile of hashbrowns! BF had the 6-egg Makin' Bacon omelette which we both enjoyed. You can sub your toast for Amish Bread (a somewhat sweet coffee-cake like bread) for $1.69, so he opted for that, which was an excellent decision. I was also very happy with the service here, our waitress made sure we always had a full cup of coffee and was very cheerful and informative. Definitely will be back! read more

Awesome food! The Amish friendship bread is a must try. We had the eastsider and the southsider. The portions were massive and the food was great. The cafe itself is pretty gross and could use a solid cleaning, but I think that is part of the clientele and "ambiance" the cafe is seeking. The staff were a mixed batch. Our waiter was great, but the woman that took over for her was a bit rude. The staff also had a lot of side conversations going on that weren't work related. While I don't expect people to keep is strictly professional at work, shouting out your personal problems doesn't make for a great meal for the customers. read more

Their customer service is top notch when I went there in April or May of 2018 and on top of it their food was delicious to every bite. Beth's feels as much like a dive-bar as you could possibly get, and the rough-and-tumble feel of it is nice for a good casual meal. WOW! I can't believe I've lived in Seattle 14 years and never been here. I've definitely heard about it from friends, seen it on tv. All that changed last Saturday. I was wasting time waiting on the Husband so I stopped in. It was around 930 on a Saturday and I was seated quickly with a cup of coffee. The menu has the huge and huger omelettes of course. I settled on 2 pancakes, eggs, and bacon. The pancakes were huge as well, couldn't finish them. The eggs were cooked just how I asked, can't really screw those up. The omelet hen lies on a bed of just perfectly cooked hash brown. The food comes out pipping hot goodness. If you don't want the hash brown to get soggy bc the omelet is on top separate the omelet from the hash brown and let the steam out. You can have unlimited hash brown but even after sharing ( an extra $1.25 or $1.50 for sharing)this great breakfast shared with another, there's plenty of food. You get two full slices of bread of your choice then they give you this choice of blackberry and strawberry fruit spread. The fruit spread is heaven. The strawberry one has pieces of strawberries in it and the blackberry is equally yummy. Being an avid art lover, this place has the art work posted from past patrons. From a simple drawing or scribble to some that are quite artistic but still neverthess art. It is the artist's interpretation. The food is awesome, inexpensive and great staff. I came here one night with the fam. The wait wasn't too bad. We hung out in the arcade area. Yes, I dropped some quarters and played some Simpsons pinball...good times. We were seated near the window. I admired the crayon pictures posted on the walls. I had hot chocolate and it was served in a Cedar Grove Composting cup. I ordered the 12 eggs Southwestern Exposure. It was a monster. My eyes bulged when the waitress brought it out to me. I barely even made a dent. I had to take it home. I ate it for breakfast and lunch the next day. The service here was not good when I came here. My friend and I were trying to get the server's attention because we were ready to order and she responded with something along the lines of "can't you see I'm with someone right now." We just wanted to make sure she didn't walk away right after she finished with the other table since we waited awhile already. It would have be nice responded more kindly and let us know she would be right with us instead. When we were ordering, they were out of a couple of things we wanted. It's a disappointment when you're really excited about trying a certain dish but then find out they are out so you have to find something else. I thought the food was okay, nothing special about it. I got sausage in the 6 egg omelette and the sausages were cut into very tiny pieces they kept falling out of the omelette whenever I tried to cut a piece to eat.
