    My friend, Sandy
    Brandon K.

A friend of mine has been slowly recovering from a traumatic brain injury chose to go to Betsy's from the Monterey County as we visited Morgan Hill for the day. We started off with a breakfast for the day and choosing Betsy's was a great way to start a great day! The service was awesome! Amy, our waitress, treated us like a loving member a family treats us. So kind and considerate to my friend's needs . The food was excellent!! Our experience at Betsy's exceeded expectations and the genuine passion for customer service is outstanding! My friend, Sandy, loved it so much, she wants to go back again real soon and I agree! We will return!!

The food portions are awesome. They are not stingy or overpriced. The coffee is always fresh & great. Free refills, anyone? :) The chorizo pile is great after a hike. The Chile verde with eggs is also great for a kick of spice and warm tortillas. Come for the food, stay for the small town vibes. There's new restaurants in town but the difference is the taste and the homemade feeling. The atmosphere here is home-y with friendly smiles, warm conversations, and kind service.

Scrumptious Chili Verde, seasoned country potatoes with fluffy scrambled eggs!

Betsy's Restaurant had a screaming menu! Our breakfast was delicious! The portions were so generous we had to cancel the pancakes.(Next time!) We finally decided on the chili verde, scrambled eggs, country potatoes with flour tortillas AND the eggs in a nest, with hash browns and bacon. Both were yummy yet I must say the chili verde and eggs were the favorite at the table. I have to mention the coffee was good and our mugs were always full. Betsy's crew was so friendly and attentive. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile at the door, seated timely and given time to figure out what to order. By the way, all the tables were full. Which immediately told me, we were about to have a fantastic meal. The restaurant was clean, ran smoothly and the customers all truly looked to be enjoying their meals. Can't wait to try the pancakes!

This place is pretty solid for a diner and i enjoyed it. The maple syrup was a little too watery for me but the pancake was soft and easy to eat, if only i had more time. I also enjoyed the mexican scramble i got and i think that for being in the middle of nowhere it was pretty yummy. Give it a try and let me know

Good food, portion size was good, good location. Close proximity to the 101 which makes for easy access. Very local mom and pop shop vibe. Most customers knew all the cooks and serves which was nice to see. The hot links were very good paired with the hash browns and eggs.

5 mf stars for betsy. This is the most classic diner spot you are going to get. Waiter was super kind, red booths, little condiments. The food was perfect as well. Eggs Benedict was just so fire. You can tell they really care about their customers, they knew the regulars by name and bantered with them and it was all just really sweet to watch. Also there was a bowling alley connected to this place???? Huh??? Respect. Love you betsy.

Betsy's is a cozy diner attached to the Morgan Hill bowling alley and serves up some hearty breakfast. We arrived on a Sunday around noon and waited outside for about 20 minutes. Chicken fried steak is my go-to order at any breakfast spot and Betsy's does it well. The steak was well-breaded and smothered with a tasty gravy- not bland and not overly salty. Service was fast and kind. My friend ordered onion rings but received a side of fries instead. They promptly apologized about it and fortunately my friend wasn't too bothered.

What can i say. this place is One of a Kind. The food id incredible. The Service is top notch. Family owned and operated. The owner (Betsy) introduced her self and made sure we hade everything we needed. One of the best Omelet's i have had in a long time. On a side note. they gave us a sample of the Chile Verde. it was Bomb AF. The Customer next to us got the Chile Verde Scramble and he loved it. Definitely my new Fav and will be back very soon.

We visited Betsy's while in town and absolutely loved it. Delicious breakfast with fast service, great flavors, and genuinely kind staff. A wonderful spot we'd happily return to on our next visit.

Good service, came often for coffee refills and kept table clean by throwing away the coffee creamer. Food was good too really cool because its next to a bowling alley with a big arcade and pool tables.

Met up with a friend for breakfast on a Tuesday. The place was packed which is always a good sign. This location is big and has a big parking lot. When seated I got the menu and was asked if I would like anything to drink. We both order coffee. After getting out coffee we were asked if we knew what we wanted. We said a few more minutes since it was our first time there, we had to check the menu first. what we order: drinks: -coffee 1/5: coffee was very bland and didn't have much flavor. It tasted like decaf. food: - Denver Omelet with hash browns and pancakes. 3/5. Pancakes were good and so was the omelet. However, the hashbrowns were not crispy. - 2 eggs, toast, hashbrowns and fruit. 2/5 Overall, the food and service were okay.

Chicken Fried "Steak" and I mean steak, thin sirloin or top round not tenderized. Was a lil different.

My wife and I know all the servers by their name as we go weekly. Today I went there and we got a new server, now I realize there is a training period but we've seen him there for at least three weeks. I had to repeat myself at least two / three times on getting the order correct, simple things like BBQ sauce on the side. When the order came, it had sweet potatoes fries instead of shoe string fries. Again, simple things but the order was incorrect. His name is Christian, I would not get him again period! Now the other servers like Sam,Monique, Jeremy for example are excellent in fact a 5+. So ask for them and your meal will be special because of the service. Hopefully Stacks will take this as constructive criticism. Gino and Clair

Well I've been in there a few times now and I understand everything Russ is saying, from the amazing delicious pastries to the warm and friendly owners and staff. I've loved everything I e eaten at this place! So I ran in with my husband a few days ago to order a birthday cake for Russ (his favorite bakery). Jeff and I had a great time ordering pastries to go and of course... ordering the burnt almond cake for the celebration a few days away. Jeff got a piece of the most dense/ingredient filled Quiche. Every bite was a taste bud delight and it was very filling! Good quality. No smoking and an excellent breakfast decision. We ordered some coffee cake and a cinnamon roll for others at home and I got a jelly roll that was this beautiful, fluffy, perfectly cooked roll with a bit schmear of a cream cheese/butter icing on top and the apricot jam they crowned it with was stellar! OMG. I'm going back for another one of those. That was an incredible decision. Pictures next visit I promise!!! The restaurant is clean and airy indoors and they have a beautiful seating area with tables and umbrellas outside. I was marveling at the giant leggos and giant games for kids to entertain themselves at while parents sip coffee, tea or another drink and enjoy a leisurely pastry and conversation to make their day special. All in all this place is as amazing as Russ said and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a special experience with food, family and joy.

We were greeted by a very friendly waitress. She said we could sit wherever we wanted, asked if we've been in before, and told us about the specials. The interior is cozy, it kind of reminded me of dive bar vibes. They have a lot of drinks on tap and some frozen slushies. I opted for organic iced tea since I don't drink. When I went to the bathroom, I noticed one of the slushies was non-alcoholic so I might try that next time. We ordered the Bourbon Bacon Burger with Chili Cheese Fries and the Supreme wood-fired pizza. The burger was fantastic! The BBQ sauce was delicious, the bacon and onion rings were crispy, and the fries were great. I enjoyed the chili, but I didn't think the cheese sauce or sour cream really stood out. I thought the crust on the pizza was perfect, I really enjoyed the wood-fired vibe and fresh toppings. This would probably be my favorite pizza if they used better mozzarella. For now, Bizza is holding the top spot for me since they use Butcher's Son mozzarella, and in my opinion, it's the best vegan mozzarella sub I've ever had from pizza spots so far. Even though I have notes, I still think the overall meal was a home run and the staff were super friendly so they get 5-stars in my book.

Finally she came over about 10 minutes in, and asked for our order after seeing we had a menu. The gentleman that brought out meal out asked if everything looked right and asked if we needed anything. Partly thru our meal we were all so hott because it's 100 degrees outside and I guess they don't have Air conditioning so we were waiting for water, finally I went up myself with our glasses and asked for them to be filled. I waited there because I didn't want to risk her taking forever to bring the glasses back to our table. Again, great food but service from the waitress could be better.

After the bread arrived I noticed that wifey had a really nice bread plate already in front of her but for some unknown reason mine was way off to the left on the table "no big deal, right" well the minute I grabbed it, I noticed something slimy on my fingers so I turned it over, and what did I find? Most of the bottom of the plate looked like someone puked on it! "Seriously that bad" I immediately wiped my fingers and called the waiter over, asked him for a new plate and a new napkin. When our waiter saw the plate, I could see that he was horrified! He immediately apologized and brought a new plate. Next: When our waiter brought us our oyster Rockefeller, I noticed that the lemons "see pictures" looked super old, like they were left out for a couple of days.
