This is the shop we needed, I'm glad to see this corner back to life. Energy in this place is amazing, they have a flow and know how to move things. Parking has always sucked around here but the over flow lot next to them works for a quick in and out. Happy workers and a fun menu although I'm stuck on my iced mocha (non fat), I say I'm gonna try other drinks and six times now I'm stuck on my favorite. This place has become a daily habit, not quite the "hang out and study" place of the past but a fast moving, high energy hot spot. San Diego based coffee shop has finally arrived to OC! I love Better Buzz and the variety they have to offer. Better Buzz is known for their smooth vanilla coffee and specialities spill into their baked goodies. Find this in the same shopping center as Mendinco Farms and California Fish Grill. They have an app so you can order ahead to avoid the line. The establishment is new so everything is nice and clean and offers indoor and outdoor seating. Music is loud but a nice hang out spot with friends. If you're into vanilla, "The Best Drink Ever" is their signature or if you want a twist, I'd recommend the Cinnamon Cold Brew or Horchata Iced Latte. They offer pastries and breakfast so it caters to all. read more

We order blended caramel coffee And açaí bowl and a turkey pesto sandwich When we got out drinks we tried our drinks but they were extremely too sweet so I kindly asked the girl in the register if we can swap it for something else because it was just way too sweet for our taste and she was super nice to say yes. Love their 3 seed avocado toast The only challenge at this location is online order during the weekends. Gets too messy. It's been twice now that my drink has been put to the side and nobody calls my name. Weird. I first had Better Buzz in SD and I loved it. I was happy to have it open a few blocks down from me. Very cute decor with a bee theme and city personalization around the walls is a nice touch. They have seasonal drinks and their pumpkin is perfect - not too spicy or sweet. I opted for the cinnamon cream cold brew and was immediately sad I hadn't gotten the large size. Came here on an outing with one of my college clubs. We went pretty late, so it was mostly just us. We are a pretty big group! The decorations and overall theme of this place is really cute. Not sure how its like in the morning, but theres space to mingle and chat with friends. I wouldnt be surprised if it gets busy during the day time. I got a matcha tea latte, and it didnt disappoint. It was a solid drink with that slight bitter taste we all love in matcha. Theres lots of different options to choose from for the next time I visit, but all my friends liked their respective drinks/pastries/food. The presentations of the bowls and toasts especially were nice! Speaking of pastries... shoutout to Monze for taking care of us. If there is anything similar in these reviews, it would be that this place has suuuuuperb customer service. She was so nice and kind to us all and we're all grateful to have spent our after event here tonight. Overall, a welcome option to the neighborhood. But if you're going to call it the Best Drink Ever, it better be spot on. And in my opinion, it was slightly weaker/watered down. Similarly, the Mint Infused Iced Coffee was nice but Philz's Mint Mojito is better. A nice surprise were their pastries. We would definitely get the Pistachio & Guava Cream Cheese Croissants again. Location-wise, they took over the old Starbucks next to Vons so plenty of parking. The one mishap was in the service. When our name was called, only 1 of the 2 drinks were made and when mentioned to staff, he said it's still being prepared. There lies their mistake. They should have instead actually checked the order. After waiting another 5 min. And many other orders being fulfilled, I asked again. Only then, did they make a substitute drink. The banana loaf was the right amount of sweetness and the Better Breakfast sandwich with avocado is as good as it looks. I love better buzz so much, and this location never fails to deliver the best service and highest quality drinks. My go to is the Prickly in Pink Mojito, and each time I asked for it extra sweet they get it right. I love ordering drinks with modifications, and they get it right every time! The staff is friendly and makes the best recommendations for different foods and add-ons to drinks. Wait times are short and the interior of the store is always clean. JJ took excellent care of us with her beautiful smile and her great attitude! My husband and I stopped by about 10 minutes before closing and since we were new to the coffee shop we needed to get familiar with the menu. JJ was totally patient with us and never made us feel rushed. I really wanted a coffee but caffeine keeps me awake if I drink it too late at night. JJ was quick with her recommendations and made me a decaf vanilla bean latte which was absolutely delicious! The coffee was smooth with no bitter edge which is always a good indication that the coffee beans are high-quality. This will be our new go to coffee shop from now on!!! Not sure why the staff has so much attitude. Go to a different coffee chain. You'll get better service and better drinks. Their coffee is sooo mediocre, and it depends on who makes it.
