We stopped by after being at the fair all day. We didn't get coffee or any food at the fair. For years I had only been to Better Buzz when I could visit San Diego. We haven't been to San Diego in years. So, I was delighted to learn they are bringing Better Buzz to Orange County. I've been to the Fullerton location many times. I got a special drink called the best raspberry drink (I think that's the name) and it was delicious. My buddy for a super sized Matcha with coconut milk. I'm not a fan of Matcha but this was delicious. The indoor seating is very limted. There were only a few people in the coffee shop. It's much smaller than the Fullerton location. They only have one bathroom. This could be a problem during busy times. The bathroom was clean. Everyone was very sweet. I didn't know what type of drink I was getting. He took the time to explain it to me. The drinks were ready quickly. A man came in to pick up a mobile order. They were taking a bit of time on it and they offered him a pastry. Cute new coffee spot in town. They actually have açaí bowl and good food here too! Servers knew what to get for first timers like me. The cold brew has a bit of a cinnamon cream, and their "best coffee ever" is creamy and delicious! Spacious to grab a seat and catch up with a friend or do work here. You'll be looking outside to a parking lot which is a bit weird but not bad. I would come back and get my coffee and food here Togo! read more

It was just okay/meh to me. Was looking for a spot to do some work and get some coffee in the morning. Better Buzz according to my girlfriend is from San Diego and they opened up a shop in Costa Mesa, so we checked it out. Right when you walk in, you are welcomed with some up beat/slightly loud music and bright lights, which is not the most ideal for a workspace. We ordered the wrap and breakfast sandwich. To say the least, it was underwhelming. The wrap listed chili crisp aioli, but it was practically non-existent. Hash brown was warm but lacked crunch and texture. My girlfriend's better breakfast sandwich was decent and she enjoyed it. As for the coffee, Best Drink Ever, might be if you never had vanilla creamer. Large parking lot that is shared with other shops around, you won't have trouble finding a spot. read more

We found Better Buzz Coffee in search for coffee while in Costa Mesa. The place is aesthetically appealing, love the bee and buzz reference. I had the mocha de Mexico which was delicious, creamy and perfect blend of cinnamon, chocolate (think Abuelita Chocolate) and coffee. The hubby had a drip which he described as a smooth medium roast coffee. We split the chocolate-walnut cookie and danish. Both were quite good. Just visited today! Not bad for a Sunday morning. The line was a bit long inside but it went quickly. The space is large and they have many employees working to keep service up to par. My daughter enjoyed the açaí smoothie and I really liked the vanilla latte with almond milk and sf vanilla. They played good music and had a lot of I door and outdoor seating! We've loved Better Buzz ever since a friend introduced us to it in San Diego, and am so happy now that there's one in Costa Mesa! Finally got a chance to visit and we tried: Moroccan Spice Iced Coffee: The hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove were nice, but I found myself wishing for just a bit more! Still enjoyed this iced coffee though. Best Drink Ever (Hot): Happy to report I loved it just as much as I love the iced version - both so creamy and delicious. It lives up to its name! Better Breakfast (Sandwich): Egg, Bacon, Havarti Cheese, Arugula, and Garlic Aioli on a soft bun. This was super tasty and I'd recommend asking for extra garlic aioli because it was so delicious and goes great with the rest of the ingredients! 3 Seed Avocado Toast: Multigrain Bread Toasted with Butter, Avocado, Chili Onion Flake, 3 Seed Mix and Microgreens with Lemon. This was a good if somewhat mild avocado toast. I would also ask for extra chili onion flakes and salt to give it a bit more flavor. Service was prompt and friendly and ambiance is casual. A great spot for a coffee or breakfast date! read more

It was my first time visiting Better Buzz, and I must say, the Costa Mesa location could use at least three people working. The girl who assisted my boyfriend and me was rushing, and there was no friendly greeting or attempt to help. It felt short, quick, and a bit rude, even though I understand they might be short-staffed. We ordered two drinks: White Mocha iced and Caramel Vanilla latte iced half sweet. I had the caramel vanilla iced latte asked for it half sweet and was still too sweet for my taste. My boyfriend had the white mocha and he loved it. Overall, it was a disappointing experience for my first visit, especially considering the 20-minute drive and the $24.86 bill. read more

Staff: They seemed nice and I like how they greet their customers upon entering with a "welcome". Wish they had name tags. Quality: Beautiful new store that was a BofA before. The store was very clean, well laid out, seating inside and outside. Got the Oag açai bowl and chocolate chip loaf. Both were so good. Value: Standard pricing you'd expect. Better Buzz is a coffee chain that is delicious. Better Buzz was located in various locations in San Diego. Steven was a bigger fan than I was and loved to stop in one whenever we were in the San Diego area. I don't remember what I had the first time but I thought it was okay. Another time we tried to order white mochas in the app in advance but it errored out and when Steven went back, there may have been an oversight and we ended up with regular mochas. I thought it was okay that time also but I may have just been annoyed because we waited a good twenty five minutes to get mobile order drinks. Steven said they kept shifting our cups farther down as in person orders came. I don't know if that was a Better Buzz issue or the staff at that location. Other coffee shops place online orders at the current place in line and shift it down, or have people dedicated to those orders. Fast forward a few months and Steven saw that they opened a Costa Mesa location. We stopped by and both ordered iced white mochas. The cashier was very friendly and helpful and even informed us that they were expanding in Fullerton, Orange, and Santa Ana! Great news! It seems that Better Buzz is expanding in the OC with a vengeance. They do ask a lot of questions up front such as are you ordering food? Using the app? Etc. their pastries and food are enormous. I may have to get one someday if I'm very hungry. The iced white mocha was delicious! They have officially converted me into being a big fan, especially when we went back a week later and I tried the seasonal iced peppermint white mocha. Tasty! I'll have to try some other drinks but I know I'll always be happy with this one. They are often very busy, but the service has been great here and they have also been fast. Download their app for rewards. After your first purchase you get a free drink. I stopped by on Black Friday and got their vanilla buzz coffee at a discount and even snagged another discount for buying two. I can't wait for more locations to open. Now this is a coffee chain I can really enjoy. read more

I went there on this past week, I forgot what day. But I the staff was pretty busy, yet super friendly. Especially this one employee named Alexa. She was super helpful and friendly. Only having been to the location in Anaheim, she gave me a completely different experience. Alexa at the one in Costa Mesa was patient and knew her way around everything! I would go again just because she truly gave me the vibes of a local coffee shop rather than the chain that it is. Although the service was great, the horchata latte was not the best! Buzzing over Orange County's newest coffee obsession. I've experienced the high quality caffeine of Better Buzz while visiting San Diego, so I was beyond excited to see a location pop up in Costa Mesa. Better Buzz is famous for their immaculate vibes and creative drinks. During my most recent visit, I was also pleasantly surprised by their tasty bites! I recently saw that they had a grand opening deal on Postmates, so I decided to order delivery to make Monday more bearable. My drink of choice was the Hazelnut Divinity Latte topped with a chai cold cream. Absolute perfection. I also ordered the feta avocado toast, which was just the right size. I loved this snack so much that I got inspired to make a copycat version at home! This spot is more than worth the trip. Or just take the easy way out and have it delivered to your doorstep like me. read more

This location is seriously rage bait. One day they're so good and make the drinks stellar and the next day you could walk in and get a really watered down drink. Consistency needs to be 100% every time unfortunately it is not at this location. Today I went in and got my usual banana matcha and I know it usually comes with banana foam, today it did not and I had to ask for it. So stoked Better Buzz opened in Costa Mesa! I went during their grand opening and although they were busy (of course) the line went very fast and there were a few people to take orders to keep the line moving. Plenty of seating inside and outside and not too hard to find a parking spot. I usually order a chai but wanted to switch it up. I've came a handful of times now and have tried their snickerdoodle latte 9/10 just the right amount of sweetness and hazelnut divinity 10/10 so yummy!! This location replaced a Starbucks and I'm glad it did. There's plenty of parking in the plaza and since this location is a cafe, there's plenty of seating indoors and a few tables outdoors. I got buzzed in Costa Mesa! Better Buzz Coffee is a San Diego coffee shop staple making its way to OC with a couple locations having opened up. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have about 5-6 tables for seating with some seating outside in a patio area as well. As for their menu, they have a great selection of different lattes, espressos, teas, matchas, sandwiches, and more! I stopped by to grab some drinks for the homies and got an Orange Matcha Latte for myself. I really enjoyed the subtle citrusy flavor and how it paired so well with the matcha and coconut milk! Overall, I am glad that Better Buzz Coffee is continuing to expand outside of the SD area! All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Wow I haven't had Better Buzz since I was in San Diego last time, so it's cool to see that they are expanding! I went in and decided to get one of their seasonal drinks, which is the Peppermint Mocha. It was pretty good! I paid about $7 for a regular size cup, but it looks so huge? I wasn't sure how much it initially cost, but I enjoyed my drink haha. Service is quick and it already seems quite popular since they opened. The vibes inside were cute, but it was absolutely freezing. Would not recommend getting an iced drink if you want to stay and work inside. The barista wasn't the nicest tbh and acted like I was bothering her when I asked for the restroom code. The espresso was just okay, nothing to write home about. Not super worth the price. read more

SO happy that Better Buzz finally made it to socal!! Usually coffee chains with multiple locations and sweeter drinks use mediocre coffee beans, but Better Buzz's espresso is delicious! I'm not a huge fan of their matcha, but every coffee drink I've had so far hits the mark. The employees here are super friendly and drinks were ready right at my online pick up time. We ordered a regular iced oat milk latte (extra shots) and the Candy Cane Best Drink Ever (1/2 sweet). Both were great! Came here to kill some time whiling waiting for my friend to get off work. Place is easy to find with plenty of parking. The inside is nice with plenty of places to sit. Employees were all super helpful. I got a cinnamon cream cold brew and honestly it tasted better than I expected. It reminded me of Horchata. A large coffee was around $7.50 which I felt was a bit expensive. Overall, I enjoyed my time here and would recommend a try. read more

I also had the Snickerdoodle coffee, but it was way too sweet for my taste (though you can ask them to adjust the sweetness). One area that could use improvement is the layout or service flow. They have a menu at the entrance, but I was asked to order while still in line, and I couldn't see the menu anymore, which caught me off guard. I ended up ordering the only items I could remember. It would be helpful if they had printed menus that customers could hold while waiting in line, especially when it's busy. The space could also benefit from a few more outdoor tables and maybe a speaker system. I recently visited this new coffee shop and, unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The Americano coffee I ordered was subpar, and there were no napkins available at the counter where you get sugars and other condiments. The staff member I interacted with was neither knowledgeable nor particularly friendly. When I asked for napkins, they didn't seem to have any around. Additionally, I noticed there was no honey available, which was surprising given that the shop's theme revolves around honeycomb and bees. I expected honey to be offered as a natural sweetener option. Overall, I found the experience lacking, and I believe Starbucks offers better coffee and friendlier service, which is quite telling. read more

I've been to Better Buzz multiple times, but this visit was honestly the worst and completely changed my opinion. I ordered a hot coffee, and they couldn't even make it hot. They didn't communicate anything to me, didn't explain why, and just handed me a lukewarm drink like it was no big deal. On top of that, the worker had an attitude the entire time, which made the whole experience feel disrespectful. The service was unprofessional, and the way I was treated made me not even want to step foot back in the store. I was so frustrated that I considered asking for a refund and that's how bad it was. Typically i will go to Starbucks or Kean coffee in Tustin. Lately, I've been going to Better Buzz in Costa Mesa and in Santa Ana because the coffee is so much better from start to finish. I recently visited this place and was blown away by their outstanding customer service and top-notch coffee. The staff greeted me warmly and were eager to help me find the perfect brew. Since it was my first time there, Zeffe and his team were patient and answered any of my questions. You can tell these folks love working there. I recently visited Better Buzz with two of my girlfriends, unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff seemed indifferent. The guy who took my friend's order was super rude and when she started ordering, he interrupted her and sarcastically said, "Uh can I get a name first". The coffee was alright. I've had better made coffee at other Better Buzz locations in Carlsbad and San Diego. Overall, the rude barista who took our order made the visit unpleasant, and it's unlikely I'll return to this location. read more

Selena at Better Buzz was such a kind and welcoming barista! We came in right before closing, and still took great care of us with a positive attitude. Their friendliness really stood out and made the whole experience even better. Definitely appreciate her great service! 10/10 customer service on their end, definitely will be back! I've been coming to this coffee shop for a while now, and Gabriella always stands out. She's consistently friendly, attentive, and makes the whole experience feel welcoming without it ever feeling forced. She handles busy moments really well and still takes the time to get orders right and check in with customers. I recently visited better buzz Costa Mesa today morning and my expectations were through the roof! When I first walked in I was greeted so well by staff and Amy was very good at making recommendations! She recommended the vanilla bean latte since I don't really like sweet and it was so good ! She also recommended the vanilla cold foam and it went really well together. Music is great inside and it was super clean. I will be back again soon. read more

So happy there is a new coffee spot near to my house! They used to have this guava cream cheese croissant that was the best baked good i have ever put into my mouth and then they got rid of it :( It isn't the best coffee I've ever had but it's good enough. Service is a little slow but everyone is extremely nice. It is always packed in there. Overall, great spot and will keep returning. read more

I absolutely loved this place! The service was amazing. Natalie was so friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The coffee part was great, I could definitely drink their coffee black. And the flavors were enough to make it fun and flavorful, but without making it too sweet or making me feel like I need to brush my teeth after drinking it. The baristas were all very friendly and attentive, welcoming people in and thanking them on their way out.
