These are not cannolis. These are rolled croissants with custard filling. Paid $9 each for what was supposed to be Cannolis :-(
    Henry M.

We used BiBi bakery through another catering service. I had special ordered 50 cannolis. The catering service used BiBi's. The cost for 50 Cannolis was $475 " basically $9 each, which mind you I honestly did not care about as long as they were good Cannolis. Unfortunately, this bakery doesn't know the difference between a cannoli and New York steak because what we got was a very nice round cylinder with chocolate on one end and a custard cream filling, cannolis are supposed to have a thin crisp shell, and the filling should be made of ricotta cheese or mascarpone,"not custard, if I wanted custard, I would've bought a doughnut. And the shell which stick and head the consistency of a croissant multiple layers. Mind you if you're selling me this as a dessert it would not be bad, but this is not a cannoli no more than it is in New York steak. I cannot express in words how disappointed I was. If you can't make cannolis or don't know how to you shouldn't have to pretend and say you can do it 0 stars!!

    Red Velvet Cake

Red Velvet Cake ($67.95) I had their red velvet 5-6 years ago and it was delicious. It was deep red and moist and balanced. Now it's just a 'somewhat edible' cake with equal parts of cream. Cake to Cream ratio is very unbalanced as the cream is way too dense and overpowers the actual cake. The cream itself would be nice if it was added in moderation, it has a sweet cheese kind of flavor profile. The Cake part is alright but somewhat dry and it's such a shame since the cakes are so beautiful. Both me and the birthday girl are disappointed and lost our appetites for another slice. The lady and the service of decorating the cake with a custom message was nice and I assume their pastries are better, but this cake really sucked.

I ordered a birthday cake several days ago and saw this bakery make Guava mousse. My sister loves guava anything and I was willing to try this out. Upon entrance I was overwhelmed with the display of all baked goods. While I waited for my cake to get boxed up I ordered an iced latte and some cinnamon butter cookies. The staff were very nice and checked in on me multiple times. They showed the cake before boxing up. I thought the little sparkles on the glaze were a nice touch. The cinnamon cookies were delightful. It was hard not to indulge but the butteriness, the perfect sweetness, and the size were perfection. I'd love to order an assortment of the other cookies on display. The iced latte was did not have a strong espresso flavor. I was quite disappointed as I didn't taste the espresso at all. I saw the worker make my drink but I was quite shocked at the color and the flavor. I probably wouldn't order a latte again. The star of the show, personally, was the guava mousse cake. I thought the sweetness wasn't overpowering. The guava flavor was delicious and didn't taste artificial. The actual cake was soft and moist. We found that even after slicing, the individual slices didn't easily fall apart. The over structure was sound. If I'm in the mood for another cake or cookie fix I'll definitely come back here.

Came here Wednesday morning and met the sweetest staff lady. She smiled while greeting all guests. It felt so nice already when I just walked in. The cafe is cute, retro vibe. The display is pretty. The cakes are yummy! Very flavorful. .

Extremely disappointed!!! The quality and the service have gone down so much! Look at the picture and use your judgment.... This the box that they gave me. It looks like I got leftover cookies. Disappointing. Who dumps the cookies like this in box??? Such a shame! Would never go back again!!

Food, Service, Variety = 5; Ambience = 4 BiBi Bakery is one of my few go to local bakeries to buy family birthday cakes when we have a small gathering & want to spoil the celebrant as it is pricier, but worth it when want to indulge. It specializes in Mediterranean/Middle Eastern delicacies. Staff answers every-time I call their shop, always patient and helpful with my questions or requests. When I discovered they participate in Too Good To Go, they were the 1 of the first 2 purchased I made as a newbie app user. I was not disappointed. The ideal quantity, quality & variety of offering to enjoy with family or friends for a snack, dessert or pair with coffee/tea/milk. Taste testing a few cake slices helps with me to decide for my next birthday cake purchase. The cafe is bright and has seating space to enjoy your baked good on sight.

This review is for the guava mouse cake for the first time. The cake was so pretty, moist and delicious. Customer service is wonderful. I would definitely be back to try other desserts and cake, but for sure the guava is a must time. Ambiance is welcoming and cute bakery too.

Had the Passion Fruit cake, Burnt Almond cake and Pistachio cake. The cake layers were the same in all 3 cake slices. Soft layers. The difference is the cream or mousse flavors. Best pistachio cake I've ever had. The mousse was very delicate with hint of pistachio flavor. Top of slice was prinkled with crushed pistachios. Not too sweet. Passion Fruit had the tangy sweet taste. A lot more sweet than the pistachio. Comparable to lemon flavor but not as sour as lemon. Burnt Almond was just ok. More like lightly toasted slices of almond than burnt. The almond slices cover the outside of the cake. There's a layer of vanilla mousse/cream in between the cake layers. Pretty pricey for about $7 a slice. They have different cookies and lots of other cakes to choose from. Cakes are sold in slices or as a whole cake. They also have guava and tiramisu cakes which I want to try next time.

flavors from top to bottom: pistachio, guava, raspberry creme

I came back twice since my wedding and feel like their cakes and pastries have declined in their appeal. I wanted to get the 6" almond or chocolate cake but the worker there convinced me to get a 8" cake even though I told her I only had a few people eating. She said it was only a bit more money but worth it and she convinced me to get the lemon mousse flavor because it was sweet and sour. It ended up being $60 dollars worth of disappointment. The lemon tasted artificial and reminded us of floor cleaner lemon. We tossed over 75% of the cake because none of my family members liked it. My tween cousins didn't even want to try it. Their pastries also looked like they were older.

There is a kiosk for ordering, as well as paper menus on display for you to look at, topped off with what appears to be a photobooth on the side that you can take pictures inside of for fun. I decided to get the Lavendula Latte, which the barista delivered to my table. I had forgotten to adjust the sweetness (though thinking now I can't remember if there was an option for that) but the drink had a nice balance of sweetness. Only complaint I have is that the menus lacks photos (not sure if it's lag or if there genuinely are no photos), but I'd say that the drink looks okay. You also have to use McDonalds wifi if you want to do work here, but the wifi's free and seems to be working fine so I'm not sure if that's really a negative. Overall, a nice place to work at with friendly service. I might consider coming back here again if I happen to end up in the area.

I was surprised to see Big Mug as I didn't know they had other locations besides the one in the plaza near El Camino Real. There was plenty of seating available. The service was quick and friendly, and the environment was cozy for the rainy day. The space is clean. There are cute items sold in the front near the cash register from local vendors. We got two tiramisu lattes. I liked how they weren't that sweet. It felt like a nice treat that didn't weigh me down. It was a good coffee run to have before eating brunch. I liked how the menu is extensive and there is something for just about anybody. We saw a photo booth inside, but didn't use it. Overall, I think this location is tranquil compared to the other Big Mug, and their offerings are hard to beat in terms of variety. I recommend going here for your caffeine fix!

The only critique I have is the music being way too loud at times. It's NOT what type of music is playing, but purely the volume. When it's loud, people talk louder and it can occasionally be a little too loud to focus without headphones. Otherwise, I think I've found my new fav local coffee shop!

It wasn't crazy busy so it was easy to order through one of their two tablets and find a spot to sit. It is very spacious and filled with many tables, so even when busy you'll likely be able to find a spot. The menu is a bit messy to look at--there is a big menu hanging over the kiosks, another posted alongside where a line is formed, then the menu on the tablet kiosks themselves. It's a pretty big menu featuring primarily coffee-based drinks, matcha lattes, and a wide variety of food, so you'll likely find something appealing. I ordered their smoked salmon bagel (which rang up to about $16) and their matcha latte ($8); to be honest, neither were outstanding. The salmon and avocado in the bagel were great, but the bagel itself was a bit stale--for $16, it's a bit hard to swallow. The matcha was very milky, and there is another store offering better matcha drinks in the same plaza. I'll admit, though, it's a little on me for not picking coffee at a spot with "coffee" in the name. I will say, though, that the atmosphere in the main area is pretty good; the decor is understated but comfortable, and the lighting is good. The service is also solid--the servers are friendly and our order came out quickly. I will say that the bathroom feels ominous. Overall, it's a great spot to study; Big Mug is open late, has free Wi-Fi and a bathroom for customers, and offers both food and caffeinated drinks for longer study sessions. I feel that the prices vary widely for items but skew towards being too pricy for the quality, at least from my limited experience. I plan on coming back to give other items a try, but for now, it's not a favorite.

We didn't go overly sweet because it was the morning, but I would love to come back in the afternoon to have a nice sweet treat and a cappuccino. For my family of three we definitely got over excited in order too much, but each bite was delicious. We got a leek quiche, a banana latte, spinach, artichoke danish, mango croissant, almond croissant, and a ham and cheese croissant. I was trying to increase the protein to not spike my blood sugar. Lol. I'd have to say the mango and the almond croissant were probably my favorite. The strong second would definitely be the artichoke and spinach croissant danish thing. Sorry, I forgot what they called it. They offered to heat it up a bit and I definitely recommend this. They did the perfect temperature for the perfect timing. Just enough to make the outside flaky and the inside warm and soft. The pieces that had cheeses were so much better warmed up. They definitely know what they're doing there. Seating was great. I'd love the decor. You can also order off of a menu, but we were too enamored with the actual pastries to even glance at it. I took photos but made sure to not take photos of the staff. I let the staff know that I wouldn't include their faces without their permission. they were very friendly and very appreciative.
