Five stars well deserved! My family hates cheese and will never eat cheese in its natural form. Obviously my family knew it was cheesecake and out of respect, ate a sliver at first. I didnt tell my family it's brie, my husband hates brie, and they all LOVED it. They rarely eat cake but they all asked for seconds! The cake is very delicious, delicate, fluffy, and oddly not heavy for a cheese cake. Sometimes cheesecake can be thick and overwhelming but not this one! Opposite from my family, im a cheese fiend. Especially brie. I love how the entire center is actly gooey brie! A very generous helping rather than a dabble here and there. I got the apple topping and the apples are crunchy, not mushy. Great texture contrast. Emily also included a mini jar of honey which is exactly what this cake needed. The last finishing touch to pull it together. Truly never had a cheesecake like this. Delicious cheesecake from Seremi! I was luckily able to try both the Blueberry AND Rhubarb Strawberry brie cheesecakes. The cheesecake base is lightly sweetened, perfect for Asian palates aka "not too sweet". It's not your average cheesecake flavor, but because of the brie - it's a little "funky" in a GOOD way especially if you're into all types of cheeses. The brie gives it a nice distinct flavor and makes you want to keep coming back for more bites. The blueberry topping was a sweet compote topped with fresh crisp blueberries! The rhubarb strawberry also was comprised of a compote and a layer of fresh whipped cream that really balanced it out. But NOPE, not this cake, the Pandan flavor comes thru and is justttt right! I got it for my birthday, and my twin sister, who LOVES Pandan flavored anything, absolutely LOVED this cake, and wanted more after she ate it all. Loll.. she couldn't get enough! Prior to this, the whole experience from ordering the cake to picking it up at Emily's was a smooth transaction. She emails you a confirmation of your order and you then can either Venmo or Zelle her your payment. I ordered the cake a weekend in advance to be safe, and picked it up the coming Friday night. She sent me a text confirmation close to my 6pm pick up time on the day of, and I let her know that I was running behind, and asked if I could pick up the cake closer to 7pm, and she was understanding, and flexible. I was so grateful! When I arrived at the pickup location, which was easy enough to find, I texted her I was there, and she replied that she was bringing out the cake. I was on the phone when she got to my car and she kindly opened my passenger door to put the cake in my car. It might be considered too "plain" on its own, but it's the perfect sponge for a dab of tea, or coconut milk. It's quite versatile. 2. Coconut pandan: This is the MVP right here. Perfect layers of cream, pandan, and coconut. 3. Tiramisu cheesecake: For fans of tiramisu and cheesecake this is a win-win. The tiramisu layer on top was excellent.
