My friend found this spot and asked if I was down to try out the Argentinian pizza deluxe. I'm from Argentina so I was def down to try that out and the empanadas. Came here Friday afternoon and ordered the pizza ahead of time so we can eat right when we got there. Ordered the beef empanadas ($3.25) as well. The interesting part of the deluxe pizza is that it came with sliced eggs. I've had something similar minus the eggs which is a traditional Argentinian pizza. The pizza was good and the combo of all the ingredients is better than it looks. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was that the eggs were cold.. the crust was light and has a Sicilian dough makeup to it. The beef empanadas were ok, I could be bias since I'm comparing it to the best I've ever had and being from Argentina. I reheated the leftover pizza slices and since the pizza was hot along with the egg, it tasted much better. I tried Biby's Empanadas, which has one of the most creative flavor lineups I've seen -- from buffalo to vodka chicken to spinach mozzarella. We sampled: * Buffalo Chicken - My favorite. Just enough kick, not overly spicy or cheesy. A little ranch mixed in made it saucy without being heavy. * Ground Chicken - A safe, satisfying choice. Mild and familiar with peppers and onions. * Chicken Parm - I didn't try this one but my husband liked the breaded chicken. * Veggie Lovers - Gave dumpling energy in a good way. More spinach and mushroom than expected, not very cheesy, but still tasty. Overall: 3.5/5 I think I expected more based on the hype and the reviews but these were fine. These were smaller than the traditional Argentinian empanadas (which are usually closer to calzone-sized with braided edges), but perfect for snacking or building a meal with 2-3. I simply came here to pickup a food order. I smiled at the young brown haired woman behind the counter & was meet with a dismissive anger & attitude. I support small bout not when there's unwarranted, unnecessary energy. Life is too short to be negative. If you're going to have an attitude please work in the back not where obvious customer service is a prerequisite. I don't plan on coming here & will warn everybody I know of this business. What a WONDERFUL treat!!! When I was a little girl growing up in New York, there was an Argentine Pizzeria that had THE-BEST pizza and empanadas. Unfortunately, the owners retired and moved away. I have searched and search for that perfect crunch of the Argentine pizza and taste....and I FOUND IT at Biby's! Biby's offers different types of pizza but if you want to experience AMAZING-NESS, their Argentine Pizza Deluxe is the way to go. Minus the eggs, that is EXACTLY the way I had it growing up. My fiancée and I came in here looking for empanadas. We hit the jackpot. They empanadas are as delicious as they are beautiful. Golden brown with the flavor abbreviations on the actual empanada, genius! I'm Puerto Rican and these aren't crispy like the ones I grew up on. They have a nice soft crust with such great color on them. And they are delicious! I definitely recommend the chicken empanadas, but I will be back to try others. They had so many different empanadas to chose from it was hard to pick. I also tried the Brooklyn Margherita pizza too. Really good and flavorful. They had so many more pizza options too, ensuring that I'll be back for more. Very friendly people working here too! Also a side note: As if the name didn't give it away the family running this restaurant are from Argentina. It shows in the decor of the restaurant. I just ordered a pick up of 2 wraps and 2 empanadas. I was greeted and waited in their dining room for my order. I paid cash with no issues at all. I get home to my 1 wrap without balsamic and my other wrap with slimy lettuce and no dressing on it. My fiancé called to politely explain the situation and was greeted with an argument and accusations that she was lying. He asked us to drive all the way back to prove it. The pizza was great but for me the empanadas are the star of the show. I ordered the, oh so juicy, beef for me, buffalo and chicken bacon ranch (CBR) for my kids. They devoured them. . The chimichurri sauce is amazing. My wife ordered the steak Milanese sandwich and she is still talking about how good it was with an "I loved it" smile. Went here at the suggestion of a co-worker who raved about the place and I only had a couple of cheese slices (try not to eat meat on Friday's during Lent) and they were excellent. Was reallyyyy excited to try the margherita or grandma pizza but I went late afternoon so the slices in the case were dry and shriveled up so I didn't bother. However, based on the chicken parm empanada I tried, I'm sure their pizza and sandwiches are delicious. The flavor was spot on! True chicken parm wrapped in baked pastry. I like that the empanada seem baked and not fried, I felt less guilty eating it. I also had a plain chicken one and it was really good but the chimichurri sauce was the star of the show. I think their empanadas are baked so they're more dry then frying them but over all not bad and a little healthier. They certainly have the best meatball sandwich in Fair Lawn! Haven't tried their pizza yet but that's next. read more
