Milanesa Sub. NO I'm not coming back!!

I simply came here to pickup a food order. I smiled at the young brown haired woman behind the counter & was meet with a dismissive anger & attitude. I support small bout not when there's unwarranted, unnecessary energy. Life is too short to be negative. If you're going to have an attitude please work in the back not where obvious customer service is a prerequisite. I don't plan on coming here & will warn everybody I know of this business. As for the young lady check your mental health if you're miserable or upset. Your attitude is unnecessary.

Had three chicken empanadas and I must admit. These were very good! Nice and hot, chicken was well cooked and seasoned well! Flaky crust, and it hit the spot. The chimichurri sauce was garlicky and delicious!!

Best pizza dough in the northeastern, the Fugazzeta rellena is my favorite (ham and cheese inside) with sautéed onions... delicious. The empanadas are super. Great friendly family. I recommend it. Best Argentine style pizzas, I also tried " Jamon, Morron y huevo"

Take out place with two small tables. Only tasted the Buffalo chicken and beef empanada. Didn't like that there was hard boiled egg inside the beef but it does say that on the menu, so that was my fault What I had was tasty and fresh

Saw in Grubhub and said gotta give it a shot. There's a big selection on the menu but the empanadas caught my eye. I ordered a few to sample. Was very impressed. Hot & fresh even on delivery. Perfect size & all were filled with flavor. Definitely will go again.

I mean...where else can you get empanadas and pizza from the same place?? Appease the masses when they can't decide between Latin and pizza! We got delivery. The pepperoni pie was good, crust was like.. somewhat a Sicilian so if you enjoy thicker crusts, give this a shot. the empanadas were pretty good too, we had chicken and beef and ate it all.

My fiancée and I came in here looking for empanadas. We hit the jackpot. They empanadas are as delicious as they are beautiful. Golden brown with the flavor abbreviations on the actual empanada, genius! I'm Puerto Rican and these aren't crispy like the ones I grew up on. They have a nice soft crust with such great color on them. And they are delicious! I definitely recommend the chicken empanadas, but I will be back to try others. They had so many different empanadas to chose from it was hard to pick. I also tried the Brooklyn Margherita pizza too. Really good and flavorful. They had so many more pizza options too, ensuring that I'll be back for more. Very friendly people working here too! Also a side note: As if the name didn't give it away the family running this restaurant are from Argentina. It shows in the decor of the restaurant. Very clean with pics of Messi hanging up and other things from Argentina hanging. So cool I had to share with a friend who's family is from Argentina. He can't wait to visit this place!

    No dressing brown slimey lettuce.

I just ordered a pick up of 2 wraps and 2 empanadas. I was greeted and waited in their dining room for my order. I paid cash with no issues at all. I get home to my 1 wrap without balsamic and my other wrap with slimy lettuce and no dressing on it. My fiancé called to politely explain the situation and was greeted with an argument and accusations that she was lying. He asked us to drive all the way back to prove it. Well instead here is a bad review and your proof you needed. Hope anyone who comes here now has proof of how they decided to treat customers.

While there isn't exactly an Argentine neighborhood in New Jersey, many great restaurants are…read morelocated in the northern part of the state. Argentine cuisine is a blend of influences from the Italian and Spanish immigrants with its chief national product, beef. They say the reason Argentine steak is so good is that its cattle graze on the country's plentiful pampas grass, rather than being grain-fed as American cattle are. The result is leaner, more flavorful, and more nutritious beef. One such establishment is on Moonachie Road in Moonachie, where my partners, our friends and I decided on Saturday dinner. Reservations were easily made via OpenTable. Upon entering this cozy, modern interior of Tango Steak as first-timers, we were greeted by the host and got a table right away. We were here 3 years ago when it was El Tango Argentina Grill. The vibe has completely changed. It's now darker and louder, not family-friendly. Music was at a decent volume and does seem to increase as it gets later, giving it a lounge type. As an appetizer, we started with Beef and Chicken Empanadas as well as Calamares (Calamari). For our main meal, we decided on the Extrana (Skirt Steak) with Mashed Potatoes & Chimichurri Sauce and Tango Burger accompanied with Fries. Food was good, not awesome. Our appetizers were tasty and well seasoned. The Skirt Steaks tasted fantastic with the Chimichurri Sauce. The Mashed Potatoes had a nice texture. However, some of us asked that their Tango Burgers be made medium but came out well done. The Fries were salty and very dry. Our service was horrendous, but our server was Nathaly who was accommodating and apologetic. Some of us had gotten their appetizer faster than others. The duration between our appetizers and the main meal was an hour. The food was not cheap given the portions received and the 20% gratuity added automatically to the bill. With insult to injury, their valet attendant charged $5. Definitely not what we expected, which is why we sadly can't recommend this place.

Owner Pablo and his staff introduced me to five of the most popular items on the menu. Empanadas: These Argentinian turnovers come in five flavors: Beef, Chicken, Caprese, Spinach, Ham & Cheese. Have one or have them all; the choice is yours! Buenos Aires Salad: This may be an appetizer, but this salad practically eats like a meal. My favorite toppings were the avocado and shrimp. I don't have an acquired taste for hard boiled eggs; but everything else was perfect. Argentinian Grill for Two: Although this barbecue is meant for two, it can easily serve three people. This carnivorous entrée is filled with all of your favorite proteins including skirt steak, blood sausage, Argentinian sausage, and beef ribs. All meats are cooked with wooden charcoal so it has that authentic hint of wooden flavor. As a bonus, this entrée is served on a table grill with charcoal. Grilled Sea Food With Lobster: You won't need to travel down the shore for seafood when you explore this dish. It has all of your favorite dishes from under the sea. Seafood Mix With Rice: Here is a variation of the previous entrée except everything is served over a heaping pile of yellow rice. If you are fan of soccer, this is definitely a perfect hang out spot. The walls are adorned with beautiful wall art and souvenirs praising the highly appreciated international sport. It was a pleasure exploring Argentinian cuisine in this fine dining establishment. #choripan #choripanrodizio #hackensacknj #seafoodmix #grilledseafood #argentiniangrill #empanadas #buenosairessalad #foodstagram #njfoodie #localbusiness

The owner, Carolina, was warm and charming as was the waitress, Amira, who provided great service. We started with Argentine beef empanadas as a starter. For lunch I ordered the beef milanesa platter with French fries, while my wife had the chicken milanesa sandwich. Both dishes were generous in portion and full of flavor, just the kind of hearty, home-style fare I love from Argentine cafés. We also picked up a sandwich de miga to take home--a crustless ham and cheese sandwich that was simple, delicate, and satisfying. I'd rate both the meal and the sandwich an easy 8 out of 10. The café itself has a welcoming, local feel, and visiting on a weekday kept things peaceful. I learned they offer fresh Argentine pastries on weekends, which sounds like a perfect reason for a return visit soon. Patria Station Café is a great spot for authentic flavors, big portions, and a pleasant, laid-back experience.
