It's okay. It's close to where I live so it's very convenient. The first time I went was when it first opened and it was delicious and great. Since then, Every time I've been back there's always a problem with the order. The last two (since I've been there twice within the month) visits were not big deals but def just makes me think twice about ordering there. My order was wrong on both occasions. The first incident was instead of giving me the crab cake special I just got nachos with some sauce that had crab in it (the person taking the order said he understood wrong) and the last time I ordered from there I asked for their buffalo wrap and when my husband got home with the food..there was no buffalo sauce anywhere on the wrap. I had also asked for ranch for my order and it wasn't in there. So I just got a grilled chicken wrap that was okay..not impressive and not bad but just not what I was craving. I will most likely go back since it's close but it may be a while since more places are opening up. read more

My wife and I ate there last night. It was absolutely awful. Worst experience I've had in years. The place is totally understaffed. Our waitress took our order and we never saw her again until she brought us the bill. At which time I noticed she charged me $19.95 for jambalaya pasta that was clearly marked $15.95 on the menu. I showed her and she still didn't believe us and got yet another menu to confirm. No apologies, just brought correct change after a long wait and talk with apparent owner who never even came to our table. The jambalaya was awful by the way. The meat was tough ad shoe leather. We went to this establishment when it was under a different ownership and really enjoyed it. The new owner had totally ruined the place and we will never return. I'd rate it 0 stars!!! read more

Got the bang bang shrimp wrap with sweet potato fries. Sooooo good. You can get the shrimp grilled or fried. They load the plate with fries, and these were awesome and crispy. Would recommend for a local spot with some interesting menu choices and seafood/New Orleans style dishes read more

After reading the great reviews for this restaurant, we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was very clean. At no time while we were there did we find any staff just standing around. If they weren't serving customers, they were cleaning. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and sweet and the food arrived fast. The problem I had was with the food. We ordered their blue crab, spinach, and artichoke au gratin as an appetizer; it was watery, not creamy. We would spoon some onto the toasted pita bread and the juice would run off immediately. It tasted fine but the consistency was not what I expected. For my main course, I ordered the Louisiana shrimp and grits. Much to my dismay, the grits tasted almost a little underdone and watery. They were not creamy as the menu described; very unsatisfying. My husband ordered the Jambalaya Pasta and the sauce on that was even watery. Our FAVORITE SPOT to go to. Food is excellent and always HOT/FRESH! The seafood taste so FRESH even fried, you can tell their seafood is fresh! The atmosphere is really nice and the waitress are all super friendly. My son loves this place even though my mom say they are a little to salty on some items but you can always give back and they'll redo it. read more

The appetizer fries with pulled pork, bleu cheese, etc, was over priced and light on toppings. The pulled pork was very dry. My Cuban sandwhich also contained said dry pork, and was not pressed. Service was friendly, but the food is overpriced, and will keep me from coming back. read more

Came here with the family for lunch. We walked in around 1:00 PM on Saturday and we're sat at a table right away. They weren't busy at all and the servers were friendly. We had a variety of appetizers, entrees and four of their specialty cocktails. For appetizers our table ordered the crab cake, onion rings, Bienvenue fries and boudin balls. The onion rings and crab cake are can't miss and I also recommend the Bienvenue fries. The boudin balls were good but they were our least favorite of the appetizers and probably would not order those again. For entrees we ordered the bang bang wrap, chicken pasta, oyster blt and big easy wrap. Portion sizes were big and we easily split 3 of the entrees between 6 people. The entrees were really good and everyone enjoyed them all. And we didn't have a cocktail that we didn't like. The atmosphere and customer service was really good. Our server and a few additional staff checked on us during on meal to ensure we had a pleasant dining experience. Upon leaving we were thanked by multiple staff. Visited Bienvenue on a Tuesday evening. The place was fairly empty which at first alarmed me but then I reminded myself that it was a Tuesday night and this place was off the beaten path. I sat at the back bar with Lori as my bartender and server. She was excellent at both positions. I ordered the Voodoo Shrimp & Grits which were excellent. It was also Two-fer Tuesday so the 2nd frozen drink was only $1 and additional shots were also $1 extra. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. read more

Went to this restaurant because of a long wait at another....what a find! Great menu, fantastic food. Good service. Apps came out quickly. Had the boudin balls and queso. Very good. Entrees included the in-house smoked prime rib poboy with gouda on gendusa pressed french bread, catfish gros, bbq bacon cheddar hamburger, and grilled trout crabmeat stack with vegetables and crawfish cream sauce special. Everything was fantastic. Portion sizes were big. Had enough to bring home leftovers for lunch tomorrow! We will definitely be back! read more

So this was our first time here and we were very impressed, great food, great staff, and great wine. Place has not been opened long but I expect great things.
