I paid 29$ for a simple chicken bacon pizza. This was ridiculous and being told that chicken pizza was 25$ alone I wanted to return it. I simply didn't want to pay for it and get my money back but know how businesses are struggling I begrudgingly took it still. I felt like I was robbed and there is no way anyone can tell you that such a pizza can cost that much unless it's made with premium quality items. Portion sizes have shrunk as well a large looks like a measly medium and maybe a small to some places. And the menu is confusing because a Two topping pizza cost 20$ such as a Hawaiian. Ridiculous prices. Stuff is 2/5 Food is 2/5 Cost is 0/5 Yes I'm giving the cost a 0/5 solely on the chicken bacon pizza and portion size but nearly a 10 dollar difference I could have gotten an additional fries or something. read more

This place is a malden staple! You grew up in this city you either ate here or DiPietros across the street. They have been doing it a long time and doing it doing it doing it well. Four stars for food but this is for delivery. I have a pet peeve where people don't follow my orders that are clearly written down. In this case, I ordered through grub hub and I clearly typed out that I would like the driver to call me. This happens every time where the driver would ring the door bell instead. It maddens me! Worlds slowest effing service of my life. We ordered delivery for our guest when they arrived to our house and literally they have to leave because we waited that long it's over 1.5 hours already it's almost 10pm this is unacceptable. Next time say delivery is going to take long we can just go pick it up! The store is 7 minutes away!! so embarrassing to have chosen this for our guests. Our food is probably going to be soggy and gross too. Never ordering here again. And when we call they say 10 minutes more but 20 minutes will pass. Call again oh 5-10 minutes and another 20 pass. I was born and raised in the Big A area. The quality of the food is top notch. Best chicken cutlet in this area. When the order came the sub was dry, so I called back to let them know. Their fries are damn decent and they provide more than plenty. Theyre really fast with their service but it's easy for them to get mixed up since there's only 3 or 4 staff behind the counter. That makes for a frustrating time if you're in a real big rush and they forget your order. But they redeem themselves VERY fast. And before you know it you're on your way. I don't know if this is just reinforcing bad behavior on my part, but since I have an irrational discomfort with calling places to order takeout/delivery, I just discovered their online option and am instantly a fan. Lunch time is super busy at any pizza/sub shop. you go in person and wait in a long line or you call them and are put on hold or rushed to give your order. Yesterday, I ordered my steak & cheese from their website and by the time I drove there from work to pick it up (about a 10-12 minute drive) it was ready & waiting for me. In and out, zero problems. And I looooooove their steak & cheese. The steak is shaved, not huge chunks and the cheese is plentiful (even without ordering 'extra') and all mixed in with the steak rather than just being one layer on the bread. I get mine untoasted because it's less crumb-y that way. I can't give 5 stars due to the lack of parking, though. You can usually find a spot on the street right outside the shop but at busier times you may have to park down a side street a block away or so.. still, no big deal. but it's just a sub shop... nothing fancy or unique. The portions are unimaginably huge. The Greek Salad, for instance--$5.25 for a mountain of lettuce, crisp veggies, a generous fistful of feta, and Syrian bread. If you finish the whole thing, you will be absolutely stuffed. One salad is easily enough food for two meals--and I can put away a reasonable amount of food. And it's DELICIOUS. The subs are the same fare--gigantic, stuffed with perhaps 3/4 a pound of deli meat, on your choice of bread (though I recommend the braided sub roll). It's worth saying, too, that their delivery service is great. Once they ran late--by perhaps only ten minutes--and to make up for it, they insisted on giving us a free 2 liter of coke. Otherwise, they're always on time, and they always call upon arrival (which is a HUGE plus if you can't hear your doorbell on the third floor!). read more
