Couldn't have been more disappointed. Ordered the Yardwork for lunch yesterday. Added an extra egg (to make 3). Had 3 tiny slivers of avocado, not even 1/4 of an avocado. The eggs were Walmart quality eggs, almost no yellow color at all. And the whole meal wasn't enough to even come close to filling me up, at 160 lbs. The veggies were tasteless, poor quality. We have been going here regularly for the past year. The service is fantastic most of the time. There is one server who we had who was not very good. She was at our table a total of 3 times to take drink orders, food orders, and then checks. Another server had to bring out our food and we had to ask another server for something because she was nowhere to be found. The name of this restaurant implies a "wow " experience. I've been to many breakfast places that were worthy of that description. Big fluffy omelets, heaps of hash browns, monster biscuits! Not this place. Small tasteless ham and cheese omelette about an inch in diameter. Food was warm not hot. Name is a misnomer. This is our favorite place to have breakfast!! We have been coming here since it opened. If you get an of the omelettes add goat cheese to it as well it's amazing. There shrimp and grits very very flavorful. They make their own jellies which are amazing. My husband and I have had almost everything on their breakfast menu and I can honestly say there isn't anything that is bad. read more

I don't think I've ever had anything that wasn't delicious here. We're vegetarians and they're super accommodating, swapping veggie sausage in on request and checking ingredients. Also: the fries are some of the best in the Shoals. My advice: save half your biscuit for the end, and get some of the peach preserves. read more

Ate breakfast here before seeing the Frank Lloyd Wright Rosenbaum house nearby. BBB is a fun place with very friendly servers and big portions. I had one of their breakfast Skillets, which was plenty of food and tasted good (but not great). It's located in the ground floor of a hotel building on Court Street. Fun place to fuel up. read more

Such an amazing restaurant. I ordered the "Low Country" dish and the shrimp was seasoned perfectly but everything was quite bland until I added pepper, salt and about a teaspoon of tabasco. Man I wish this place was in Huntsville! BBB was everything we imagined and more. It was super crowded when we got there this morning but the wait was super fast, especially with the Yelp check in. Great breakfast! Five of us came together. All had different meals. All really enjoyed the meals. I had the Redneck Benny w/ hash brown cakes. Biscuit, country ham, poached egg, sausage gravy all piled up. Great taste, couldn't finish but tried! Wife had veggie omelet. Friends had scrambles, BBB, house special. All really enjoyed their meal. Five of us ate and had coffees for $70. Pretty reasonable for what you got. Yes, you can eat breakfast for less elsewhere. Go to McDonalds if that's your thing. There was a yelling confrontation between a couple of workers which made everyone uncomfortable. The service was not that great. We asked the waitress what type steak came with the steak and eggs and she said she didn't know and didn't offer to go ask the kitchen. Waited 45 minutes for a table. 45 minutes later still waiting for food. We could see they were busy, so we kept quiet and patient, but we saw tables around us, seated after us being served. We had to hunt down our waitress for an explanation. She said she was checking on it...... Finally we had to ask for a manager who explained the kitchen was so busy, the servers were not allowed to put orders in. I've never been treated so ridiculously. Let us sit there for almost an hour for 2 plates of eggs. The family next to us left. There were people sat after us, ate and left before we even got food. No apology or explanation from the server .... Our food should have been comped. Yet .... We tipped her. Left feeling like chumps. read more

I've came here a few times since I live near by and it's the one of the only brunch places in the area. The food is far from great but it's okay. The biggest issue I have with this place is the service. I've never been one to treat servers bad because I get that it's hard work but not once but multiple occasions I have had a server either be rude to me and my girlfriend or just today outright forget about us. I got my food and was never checked on again. The food was a little burnt and I needed a refill. The restaurant had cleared out mostly so it wasn't packed. Our server disappeared and it was time for me to pay. I waited for about 15 minutes and she came back and gave me my ticket. I was ready to pay since I was worried she would disappear again. She didn't come back. I waited for another 5-10 minutes and got up and tried to pay at the bar. They said I had to pay at my table since I ate at one. At this point my girlfriend went to the car and I had to wait until my server acknowledged me again since she took another table in front of me and walked back to the kitchen without taking my card. After what seemed like forever she finally came back but shaking her head not saying a word to me and grabbing my card and ticket. She came back with a pen and receipt still not saying anything to me. I signed the receipt and left. I've given this place way too many chances with only a couple of times I can say we're decent. The rest were a waste of money and time. It's not cheap either, I'd expect better food and service for what you pay for here. read more

I know how this place got it's name. The big breakfast was bad. My son was here recently. He asked me what was new and I told him I wanted to try "Big Bad Breakfast". I ordered the avocado toast. The greens were too wet and if you are looking for poached eggs as stated on the menu you will be disappointed. I received brown overcooked fried eggs. My son had a biscuit with his meal and it was dry and cold. Who doesn't serve butter? We would have sent it back but the couple at the next table was complaining to the manager. My only complaint is they aren't open later. A limited menu but with enough variety to satisfy virtually any taste. Breakfast is in the name but their burgers, sandwiches and poboys are all righteous. It's sad that the area only has one place to get a decent poboy but theirs are good only wished that I could get gumbo to go alongside. The one weakness of the location is the waitstaff that can be hit or miss. Some of the staff go out their way to make you feel at home while others have a Gallic like regard for your presence. Got up early on Sunday and headed over to Big Bad Breakfast. Yes they are open early 7am even on Sunday. Good time to go not real busy. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and were seated immediately The menu is vast something for everyone! Our food was prepared perfectly as ordered. Service by Zack was excellent. Never had to ask for more coffee he was always there to give you a warm up Check out their vast menu. I had the Red Neck Henney. I asked for My eggs scrambled. And that is what I got! No problem for them to make the eggs the way you like them. The biscuits and gravy were excellent. Plenty of pepper to give just right flavor. They make their own jelly and preserves.
