So this, along with Tasty Thai next door, are a conjoined restaurant. I ordered online, knowing when my flight was landing, as I just wanted a place for carry out on my way home. We ordered the beef ball pho with extra veggies, and chicken green curry. I went home and heated up the broth and put together a large boil. So many veggies and the beef pho came with thick flank slices as well. They give you plenty of meat and meat balls. But when I tasted the broth, I was surprised. It was so sweet!!!!! If it is Thai inspired, with the thai place next door, this makes sense. My partner enjoyed his green curry as well.

Just got off the plane and wanted to get some food around the area. There are some big sign for a big bowl of pho as you get closer to the restaurant. The waitress was attentive and seated us right away. Once she got her our order in, it came out in a timely manner. We order a duck noodle soup, pho deluxe, and a pho thai style. All of our bowls were big and filled with broth. However, the taste wasn't as good as the downtown pho places were and there was portion of meat and noodle was less than the broth. Pretty unsatisfying and was still hungry. I probably would not recommend this place if you want to get full and happy though.

This place is bad. Really really bad. I stopped by on my way to the airport and saw the big signs out front. Got a hankering from pho from the signs so decided to stop in for a quick bite before my flight. The apps are strangely priced sort of high. For $4.95 I got two egg rolls that were pretty bad (though they at least came fresh out of the frier). The pho broth was bland and over salted. It had no complexity like a good pho broth. I wouldn't be surprised if it was some powder mixture they boil with water. The noodles were undercooked and too chewy. The beef was inedible. I left every piece of meat in the bowl. Service was nice but it just doesn't make up for the poor quality of food here.

First off, I don't know why it says this is Chinese food on Yelp, because it's Vietnamese food and I've already submitted the change to Yelp as if 9/13/14. I randomly found this place on Yelp so I decided to check it out with my friend. This was a pho place up north which was a good change of pace for me considering the pho places I go to were south of the river. We came around 12pm on a Saturday which was when they opened on the weekends. I believe they were open from 11am to 9pm on the weekdays and they close at 10pm and 8pm for Saturday and Sunday respectively. Their menu had a lot of choices and I was primarily here to try their pho. We decided on the Fresh Spring Roll ($5.95), Beef Jerky ($5.95), and we both ordered the Beef Brisket Pho ($7.95). Under the Pho Noodle Soups part of the menu, there was a Super Bowl size for $19.95 which was one gallon and I didn't ask how big the Big Bowl (add $2). They had the different bowls on display that other Yelpers have posted already. It took a few minutes before our appetizers came out. The Fresh Spring Rolls were good and the peanut sauce tasted like what it should. It came in a boat-shaped dish and came with two rolls. The Beef Jerky was delicious and we ordered it because it was their famous homemade tasty and tender beef jerky. It reminded me of a Chinese dish (forgot the name) on the initial bite but the flavor changes soon after that. It was hard to explain but try it out. The Beef Brisket Pho was just okay in my opinion. The broth was bland and the beef brisket was the kind that had fat attached on some of the pieces. The beef brisket was good and the noodles were like other pho places. If the broth wasn't bland then the pho would be good. The spoon provided was not really meant for drinking the broth and just made it difficult. I took a picture of it to show what I'm talking about. The service was not bad. There were just two working here when we came and the place wasn't busy. Big Bowl Pho was not bad and their pho could taste better if their broth wasn't bland. The menu had a lot of items to choose from so I'm sure you'll be able to find something that might suit your taste.

Stopped by on a Friday evening to give this place a try and was not disappointed. Ordered the Kung Pao chicken which had some heat but not too much, portions are just right no take home needed. The crab rangoon was tasting although not the best I have had but I would recommend. The place was steady busy with diners and carryouts which is always a good sign and our server was covering all tables and carryouts impressively well. She circled our table several times asking if we needed anything I consider this top service. We will no doubt return for one of the many weekday specials and of course to try the Pho.

I would give this place a 1.8/10. This place has a weird smell. Their pho is not authentic...soup is not good. If you're looking to eat pho, I would not recommend this place. Save your money and go else where.

If you're looking for pho please go somewhere else. This is not traditional pho and not even close to being authentic.

There wasn't much of a wait for our food either. Now the food. I can't say the same. There was a kids menu but no kids juices so that was disappointing. I ordered the spicy beef fried rice, the beef did not taste fresh and gave my rice a weird taste. The vegetable fried rice was dry BUT had an enjoyable blend of vegetables. The vegetable Lo mein was not flavored BUT the vegetables were thoroughly cooked. The "Chinese" doughnuts were still a bit doughy inside BUT they were surprisingly still good and I'd say were my favorite for the night. Also to note, there wasn't any prices on the dine-in menu but included on the takeout menu which I thought was different because no one wants to be surprised with their bill. Overall, not a spot I'd be visiting again.

I usually come here for dim sum, and it is upsetting for me to say that my husband and I should've chose somewhere else to eat for dinner. For dinner, we ordered fried rice and chow fun. Those two main entrées were okay. You can't really mess up those two fillers at an Asian restaurant. We ordered scallion pancakes- they came out soggy and soft. Not even crispy like how they usually are. The flavor wasn't there either. If I wanted microwaved scallion pancakes, then I would've bought them from the store and made them myself. My husband ordered the short ribs- they were bland and tough like rubber. It had a funky taste to it that he couldn't describe and he had to force himself to swallow it because he didn't want food to go to waste. I ordered the chicken feet- this is one of dim sum's signature dishes and I am so upset I didn't even get to enjoy one of the dishes I always order. It was dry and the flavor wasn't there. The service was fantastic. They checked in on us and made sure our water was filled. The timing of the food coming in and out was fine. The ambiance was inviting. There was a sense of urgency and I appreciated that.

Our party of three each ordered something different and we were all delighted. The only room for improvement would be the fried rice but it was good enough to order again. Chef was happy to make the garlic chicken less spicy and it was perfect. The service was speedy and friendly. Take out or dine in (about 10 tables). Restaurant and bathrooms were clean. By the time I grabbed our food and headed back out, the front spots had already opened up again. We did two lunch specials for around $20 total, which feels like a steal for how much food you get and how good it was. We ordered the Chicken with Cashew and the General Tso's lunch specials, both came with soup and a side. The cashew chicken was seriously incredible. A lot of places overload this dish with veggies until it turns into chaos, but this one was balanced with the right mix of ingredients and is easily one of my new favorites in KC. Only bummer: hardly any cashews. Still delicious, but I wanted a little more cashew love. Crab rangoons were hot and crispy with a solid filling even after a bit of a drive home. The fried rice had great flavor, and the steamed white rice was bouncy and soft, not that kind with crispy dry edges. Both soups were spot on, and THANK YOU for including wonton strips. A lot of places skip them and it really can make or break egg drop soup for me. General Tso's had great flavor, but the chicken pieces were a little big and it wasn't very spicy, even though we didn't order it no spicy. Not a dealbreaker, just something to know if you want that classic kick. Inside is clean and cute with tables for about 8 to 10 small groups, the front desk is toward the back, and everyone was kind and helpful. As an Elite, I also loved seeing their Yelp pride around the restaurant. Overall, super solid lunch specials and I'll absolutely be back!!
