Dang....I used to LOVE this place. Literally...I came here at least 3 times a month. I frequent the nailshop next door weekly, so I like to drop in for a cocktail. So....I ordered crawfish. And my family ordered wings. Waited 48 minutes for the wings. Crawfish came out immediately---with a cockroach. Good times. Waitress didn't apologize. Just grabbed the plate and went to the kitchen. Manager came out 6 minutes later. Told us our food (only) was free. Except, I didn't have any food. Waitress came by (still no apologies) to find out if I wanted anything else. I just ordered a burger. Wing order came out wrong. When my husband to the waitress, she proceeded to argue with him instead of trying to fix it. My burger never came out. Asked for the manager again. He told us that everything was free (we received 3 of the $3 long islands and 2 beers)....what a joke. 11:30pm and we had to grab fast food for our kid. This place has horrible management! They also do not know how to staff for the lunch rush or send orders to the kitchen correctly...after a 45 min wait for our groups food yesterday (being the first patrons in the place to eat) most of us had to take everything to go because we were late getting back to work. The tabs were also incorrect and when the waitress asked management for help, he was rude and didn't seem to care that he now had a restaurant full of angry patrons...he was only worried about the mozzarella sticks he was trying to deliver. I waited too long to try this place. Now that I have it's my favorite wing place. The wings were juicy and soft yet very crispy on the outside. I had the potato wedges to go with them, and they, too, were soft on the inside and very crispy on the outside. Everything was perfectly cooked and served hot and fresh. Our server was excellent. The lemon pepper was definitely the best one of the three. It can hold its own with Wingstop if we're being unbiased. A lot more roomier than any Wingstop in the area for sure. Think of Hooters but with a lot less cleavage. I also got a few bites of their version of fried pickles, and they are pretty darn good! Instead of sliced pickles, it's basically a whole divided into 6 long pieces. It was something new and it didn't disappoint at all! The only thing negative I could say about this place is the water. It just tastes bad. I couldn't handle it. Ordered 15 wings for about $15 bucks and got 30 total since it was two for Tuesday. Split the 30 with 2 others and it was enough between us three. THE WAIT IS OVER! North Houston (really all of Houston) has been a barren wasteland for wings. Either they are too small (WingStop,WingsNMore) Disgusting (Brewingz) or just plain mediocre (BW3, Hooters). This place hits on all cylinders. The beer is cold, with a nice selection on tap. The staff was friendly, efficient & attentive. Now onto the food. There are plenty of heart-stopping options. Fried Mac-n-cheese, onion rings & great fries. And the wings - Plenty of flavors to choose from & best of all - THEY DON'T MAKE YOU BEG TO MIX UP FLAVORS!!! And if that wasn't enough, Tuesday is half-priced wings. I now can have my heart attack & afford the ER visit. This place is bright & well laid-out. Plenty of TVs, and enough room that you don't feel cramped (BW3). Ordered 40 wings to go today. After my girlfriend went and picked them up and she got home we discovered 15 out of the 40 were the wrong wings. Called the store and the manager told me if I came back he would make it right. So drove back and picked up the correct wings and the manager comped it for me. I have been eating at this restaurant every so often with my son and normally get good service. Today we ordered our usual and many of the wings were over cooked and dry. Then when we paid I gave the waitress my card and stated the total sounds high. When it was returned with the receipt to sign I calculated that she over charged me about 25 dollars. I tried for 15 minutes to flag her down but she would not look my way and even avoided her other tables around me. I then asked another waitress to get my waitress or a manager. It took at least another 10 minutes for the waitress to come to my table. I then told her that the price didn't add up. She said ok and took the check and went back to the back. Neither she nor the manager came back for 10 minutes. Eventually, she returned with a modified ticket and took my credit card again. At about the 45 minute mark into all of this since I had first asked for the waitress to come back a male worker at the restaurant came by and dropped the final credit card receipt form me to sign and walked away. The biggest issues with this entire situation is that it was obvious that the waitress purposely overcharged based on her actions and the manager never felt the need to come to the table and say anything at all. If you go to this restaurant make sure to double check everything they charge you for and when they overcharge you do not expect the manager to do anything to help the situation. read more

Their best item is the Dirty Bird- the chicken is GIGANTIC and for $8 on the lunch special it can't be what, comes with fries and a drink. On Tuesdays we order 50 wings and get 100 for 4 people eat off of it for 2-3 days. Decently priced, service is always friendly and to go is always ready on time.
