Finally made it to this little Gem! I had the Goudarugala Burger and Cheese Curds. Cooked perfect and the Curds were best in AZ that we have found! Being from the Illinois/Wisconsin border we are harsh judgers in the Curds lol friendly staff! Will be back!

Customer service was amazing. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. It is fun to sit outside, rather rustic which adds to the experience and atmosphere Saturdays they do family movies The burgers are great and the fries next level. Seriously good milkshakes Next door is an old fashioned candy store.

Cheese curds + caramel sauce = Funnel Cake?!

Hear me out: cheese curds + caramel sauce = funnel cake?! Yes, you read right! While in town scoping out a possible wedding venue, we stopped at Big Earl's for dinner. Our hostess introduced us to this twist as she learned it by someone from Wisconsin. Oh man, what a mind trip! But, if crazy combo foods aren't your thing, Big Earl's has patty melts, hot dogs, and, plenty of burger options to please any palate. Don't forget the shakes! There's limited indoor seating, plenty of outdoor seating (misters and yard games to keep everyone cool and entertained). Next door is a charming candy store with so many choices. They also sell shirts and hoodies to show off your trip.

Food, Service, ambiance, Connect Four, Jenga.. the staff is soo sweet. They turned the heaters on in the patio so we could sit outside with our service dog. Love this place. Thank you for staying in business for so long:

I am addicted to the Jewel of the Creek salad, so good. Burgers are good and the breakfast burritos are huge and delicious. This place is a fun and family friendly restaurant that we frequent.

The Big Earl's Burger with Green Chile might be might favorite Burger in town. I come out to Cave Creek to play golf a couple times a year and this place is always my go to place for a bite to eat when I'm done on the course. Being from NM, it's always great when I can find a place that serves up Hatch Green Chile on anything. Big Earl's does it right and I will continue to come back for more!

Such a cute unique restaurant! It's an old fashion gas station made into a fun restaurant. Most of the seating is outdoors but they did have limited indoor seating. My Dad got a peanut butter milkshake but when asked if it was made with real milk I was told it was a premade mix. They had all kinds of menu items one would expect from a "greasy eats " place. There's a cute candy shop next to the restaurant. Being gluten free I did not eat there. I didn't see any options for me. A fun place to hang out.

Honestly one of the BEST burgers and fries and shake we've had in a while! Both me and my fiancee absolutely loved it! And servers were super sweet

Absolutely love this place!! It has a small town feel and eating here made me feel like I was in a Hallmark Christmas movie. They have the cutest Christmas decorations and very friendly staff. I ordered Big Earl's burger with no onions and it was seriously amazing! It comes with a "secret" Cajun sauce. I don't typically like spicy things, but the sauce gave the burger extra extra flavor. We also tried out the AZ prickly pear lemonade and that was delicious! We came in here on a Saturday after doing some hiking in the area, and this place hit the spot. We were pretty hungry when we got here but left very satisfied! This restaurant is located on the main road and has its own parking lot. p.s. We also ordered the cheese curds which were great. I'd highly recommend them because you get a really big portion!

    Fried Chicken Sandwich

Memorial Day brought swarms of people to Greasy Earls of Cave Creek! I ordered by phone and GRACE was terrific. So calm, cool, & collected...My husband picked up our fried chicken & swiss/mushroom chicken sandwiches! He said the place was full of people everywhere; and, Grace with her crew managed the situation like champions! Kudos to Grace & the crew...GREAT JOB, WELL DONE!

I say "mildly suprised" because once we walked up to the actual coffee house we heard the live music on the large back patio. One of our absolutely favorite local artist, Aaron Howard was performing, and he definitely brings in a crowd. It was busy, as I mentioned, but not too crowded, and we found a good table towards the back. As it was the begging of the hot weather this spring, we were very grateful for the generous-sized table umbrellas. But first, we went inside the Bodega to order a Beer and a snack. They have a great selection of Beer and wine! And since we were still 2 hours or so away from dinner, we decided to grab a veggie & cheese board, which had a nice variety of cruditè and humas. It was very satisfying for 2 adults. We spent.a total of about 2 hours there and left there knowing we would be coming back to Janey's. Side note: For those of you who need accessibility, I myself am on an electric scooter for ambulating. The parking lot is dirt and only has a couple of handicap parking spots. But no space is more than approximately 150 ft from the entrance to Janey's. Once you get to the building, it is very easy to get in and out of the main bodega, with wide, level doorways. The doors were propped open when we visited. I did not utilize the restroom on this visit.

However, what' will keep us from going back is the no-personality service. Been there twice in the afternoon and both times the service was stoic. For us friendly service tops everything. My son has a severe gluten allergy and we came here as I saw they had gluten free pancakes. I informed the waitress of my son's allergy when we placed our order, and confirmed that his pancakes were gluten free when they were brought to our table. Being a normal 5 year old who loves pancakes, my baby enjoyed his breakfast... only to begin coughing intensely and then breaking out into severe hives (and panicking) shortly thereafter. By God's grace, we had his epi Pen nearby. We still ended up in the ER as his breathing was impacted in addition to the hives (thankfully the epi pen helped but he still had to receive treatment and be monitored). All of this was due to pancakes that we were told were gluten free. While my husband and I rushed our son to the hospital, my father who is a local resident, spoke with management. They comped our meal, which was kind. But this truly could have been a life or death situation.

The dirty birdy and whiskey buck were such a hit we had a few. The appetizers we tried were delicious. The seared ahi tasted yummy and the pork belly with its crunchy exterior was gobbled up quick. We then tried the cauliflower and steamed clams. The broth for the clams was so good, we asked for more bread to sop it up. The cauliflower was yummy and everything on the plate was eaten up. The girls were full after that, but I wanted to try the beet salad. Have to say, one of the best I've ever had. Beets, arugula, goat cheese, walnuts (I think) and Orange slices with a tasty vinaigrette. Although the girls were 'full', they saw that and had to try it. Nothing left in that bowl as well.
