Love this place. Fantastic place to sit and eat or take out. I have gone a few times and and food is always fantastic and servers are friendly.

The space is amazing and there is ample seating. There are exotic plants all around and it is super clean and organized. There is a mini freezer that has frozen mochi and also a retail section for popular Asian treats like pocky and hi-chew candy. The service was fast, the staff was friendly. If raw fish is not your thing, they do have cooked options. We tried the gyudon beef bowl and the spicy tuna poke bowl and both were fantastic. A great post-workout meal. I'm a super fan of healthy, high-protein, low-carb meals and this checks all those boxes and also tastes great. And I love that you can choose how healthy you want to be. They have options for white or brown rice, salad, or 1/2 rice & 1/2 salad, for their bowls. There's no outdoor seating, but if it happens to be a beautiful day, there is a small public seating area near the Starbucks a few doors down.

Gave Big Fin Poké a try on a work from home day and it was delicious! I ordered online which was so easy and it was ready right on time. The food was so fresh and delicious, it was a huge win. I liked the variety of options to choose from including the half and half base option since I find you're either left hungry with only lettuce or stuffed with rice. Portion size was good, leaving me full but not stuffed.

This is a great addition to downtown Melrose! I was here for their opening day and this place was super busy! The lines were long but boy it was worth the wait. They have a diverse assortment of snacks, drinks and mochi icecream! Both my friend and I got a build your own regular bowl that comes with two proteins. We got to pick our toppings and sauces. The total came to about $16 and the serving portion was decent. The decor is also pretty, bathrooms are clean and the staff is very friendly! Definitely will be back again.

Long-awaited grab-and-go or dine-in option in downtown Melrose! Delicious poke bowls with a fun, colorful ambience.

First impression walking into Big Fin is WOW. So cute, aesthetic and spacious. Such a great job with interior design. BUT the showstopper is of course the food, I tried the spicy tuna bowl and it was amazing! The portion sizes were generous and the service overall was great:) can't recommend enough!

I love this place. Always fresh and big portions with a lot of options for toppings. It's so good! The ambience is nice inside but mostly do take out.

I've been wanting to stop by this place for a while and finally got a chance today. First off, it's a lot bigger inside than you'd think! It was clean and inviting... I ordered off the menu, the spicy tuna poke over salad. It was very good, great balance of flavor that was neither overpowering nor bland. I thought it was a tiny bit pricy but the portion size (I got the regular) was generous. I'd definitely come back to try other bowls as this was a great first impression.

I usually order the make your own bowl, which I order two scoops of salmon, brown rice, all the toppings except for fruit, spicy, mayo, sweet shouyu, and all the other toppings that I want. I came here last week on April 21 for dinner and I definitely noticed that the bowls have gotten wayyy smaller. Also, their salmon quality was kind of disgusting. It wasn't juicy or fresh. It was actually dry and I think it's old. They cut it into small pieces and the outside of the salmon when I had it was almost grainy and tacky. It was actually disgusting and I would not come back here again. I had such a horrible experience. I also ordered their garlic spam musubi and the spam looked so gray that it has been sitting out for the whole entire day. The quality of food I got was actually really disgusting and I would give it a zero out of 10 if I could. I really wish that management would take better care of the quality of their food, service, and employees. Something is wrong with this establishment and it shows. Every single time that I've gone to pokeworks, the workers look like they don't wanna be there. I never get any smiles and they always look at me with a straight face and I feel like I'm unwelcomed there. To be honest, I think the workers look like they hate their jobs, which makes me not want to come back. I will take my business to Waikiki Poke in the same plaza because at least their poke fish quality and service is better.

Pork Cutlet Curry: The restaurant specializes in fried foods, with the pork cutlet being their absolute signature dish. Although the cutlets were on the thinner, leaner side, each one was fried to order, resulting in a crispy exterior and tender, juicy interior, fragrant but not greasy. The breadcrumbs were especially fluffy and light, bursting with flavor on the palate, which was incredibly satisfying. The curry was authentic Japanese curry--rich, mild, and slightly spicy with a distinct fruity aroma, perfectly suited to my taste. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask for a runny egg for the $2 additional egg; otherwise, it would have been even better. And at only $15 a serving, including a salad/miso soup, it's incredibly good value for money, perfect for lunch. Fried Oysters: Also crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the oysters were fresh and juicy. The lemon juice and salad dressing were refreshing. I felt they were even more delicious than the pork cutlet. The place is located in Lesley University's Main Hall and has only four tables, so you may have to wait.

The restaurant is located inside a shopping center and has only a small amount of seating, giving it a cozy, homey feel. We ordered the shrimp tempura udon, pork cutlet curry, and a side of vegetable tempura. My favorite part was the tempura. The batter was incredibly light and crispy without feeling greasy. The udon broth was comforting and well-made, though its flavor was fairly simple. Overall, the meal reminded me of a home-cooked dinner, making it a cozy spot if you're looking for comforting Japanese food.

A large plate of tangerine chicken accompanied by something with a name along the lines of "triple delight." The chicken was well-starched and sweetened and moist like the lips of a baby lamb. It was the most unhealthy thing I consumed all week.
