Never know what you will find. I highly suggest people read all the expiration dates on their food…read more Other than that the prices are very good especially for the clothing. They typically have bedding sets for under $50 but you have to find your bed size (Queen seems to be hard to find). The appliances are normally name brand and great price, I recommend you review their return policy on electronics and thoroughly test things out. Staff is generally nice. FYI: For parents this is also a hidden gem for the popular dumplings and squishy cubes.

This was our first visit to Newington's Ollie's, and we scored a fantastic deal. I am the Committee Chair for a convention next month, and one of the participation activities for the conventioneers will be assembling kits to donate to a Boston charity for children in need. We are set on the school supply side, but we are still a little short on the socks and underwear side for 50 boys and girls. So, when I saw a "15% off" email from Ollie's, it seemed like a divine sign to make a pilgrimage to the new Ollie's in Newington. And guess what we found? How about 5-packs of boy's underwear marked down to $2.99? BEFORE our 15% discount. Thank you, Lord Ollie. Ollie's was stocked to the gills and very neatly shelved. We bought this eclectic mix of goods: a big bag of Dot's pretzels, five boxes of K Cup coffees, a bottle of shampoo, a jar of pickled zucchini, a jar of salsa, and 20 of the aforementioned underwear 5-packs for just a shocking $88. Ollie's is a fun store to browse around in, and today we made out like bandits.

Triple check sizing on clothes as hangers don't always match and once you buy the clothes you can't return them. Kids selection of clothing is not large but there are plenty of toys.

I love this store! I almost love it so much that I don't even want to tell everyone about it,…read morebecause that will deplete the inventory even faster. I've read the reviews and understand all of them, because while I love this store and have a microwave, humidifier, dehumidifier and comforter from here and have bought tons of food from here, I do not go here for clothing because of some of the reasons other people have stated. Finding the right fit for a woman is difficult, so I will not buy things that I cannot try on when they also can't be returned, unless it's something you can try on (shoes/slippers/coats) or like a pajama top (which doesn't have to be perfect) that I did buy and actually loved so much I went back until they had another one available. Value for most things, 5 stars. The food and clothing start at the highest price on Saturday and go down every day until Friday when there's not much left. So some things are not a great deal on Saturday but if you're willing to risk it and go back in two or three days, then the price is cheaper and it's a great value, although some things are still a great value even on Saturday (think protein chips/drinks/bars and coffee)!!!! The line at 10am on a Saturday will let you know how serious some of the regulars are about getting the best quality stuff right after a shipment comes in! Ohh wait, there's more! Enter your phone # at checkout and after you spend so much (maybe $150 but that's a guesstimate) you get $10 off a purchase!!! It can't get any better!

This store is already small and cramped so when there's only one cashier it's horrible. Lines go way into the isles and it's very unorganized. I think it would help space some things out a bit if they didn't have a giant POS soda refrigerator near every cashier station and a clumsy ice cream freezer at the checkout area. That's just an opinion though. Cons: It's dingy, average lighting, lately the store has been a consistent mess, often long waits in line. Pros: Everything is a dollar lol ***To give you an indication of the wait times in line, I wrote this review while waiting in line.***

How can you not love dollar tree??? I'm not saying you can do your weekly grocery shopping here,…read morebut there are some things that I definitely prefer to buy here: wrapping paper, gift bags, ribbon, bows, tape, batteries, party supplies (plates/cups/utensils/tablecloths), movie theater candy and balloons. They also have some cool seasonal stuff, if we're having a party (4th of July, Halloween, etc), we always some cute serving platters or bowls. I even got a bunch of ribbon at Dollar Tree for my wedding favors. It's always my first stop if I'm looking for something. They don't have everything, but it's worth checking so that you don't overpay at regular stores!

Upon walking in, the shop felt small, but all the little nooks and corners made it feel large. Something new to see at every turn. They sell some of the softest t-shirts, delightful scented organic soap bars, cutest stuffed toys and fun quirky gifts. My favorite part was the wall of teas and honey. I will definitely return if I have to find a thoughtful and special gift for a birthday, Christmas or baby shower. I liked how each shelf was a vibe. There was a section with "plant lady" gifts for the friend or loved one that is talented in the garden. They had a rather large area filled will baby clothes, toys, and the recently popular Jellycat plushies (they were SUPER soft). I personally love going to a boutique like this to find a gift rather than ordering online. A Pocket Full of Posies is hidden as I discovered it while on my way to Perk On Main. It's located INSIDE the Main Street Market building. There is, conveniently, a large parking lot with access from the backside of the building. There is also street parking in the front as well, look for the big sign "Main Street Market," sandwiched between Perk On Main and Pokemoto. Parking is $1/hour or free on Sundays.

Go here before the big boxes! The furniture is laid out by rooms, plus a few dish, art, and lighting sections, so it's pretty easy to find your furniture genre. Alas, the novelty kids bed was gone before I could inquire. The store has a facebook page if you want a head start in your browsing. The staff (or volunteers?) on site were kind. Laminate furniture appears to match prices you could get for new at Target, and it's dinged up here. But building supplies, drawer handles, sinks and other fixtures, and some appliances, as well as windows, doors, etc, are often priced well and can be the best match for someone looking for specific styles to match an older house, for example. I did find a very nice solid oak sofa table to refinish here last time, though, for only $50, so if you're here anyway for the affordable stuff, you might find a stray diamond in the rough.
