Scheduled an appointment to get an oil change, which includes a tire rotation. While I was checking in I confirmed that it included a tire rotation, and specified to please rotate my tires. After waiting for almost 2 hours (even with an appointment) for a basic oil change, I paid and went to leave. After walking back to my vehicle I noticed they DID NOT ROTATE MY TIRES. I went back in and asked the service desk if they had rotated them. He went and asked the tech who had worked on my vehicle, andsaid they had. What they didn't notice was that I had marked my tires with chalk. The tech, KOBE GURR, then came and tried telling me he had. I told him he HAD NOT, and he then said he had but if I'd like they would rotate them again. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION. THEY WILL LIE STRAIGHT TO YOUR FACE. AND POOR management, who witnessed this while things never said a word or try to fix the issue!!!! read more

This place sucks, service is slow but the biggest problem is the manager. What a jerk! Poor communication and speaks only in mumbles and grunts. If you like to provide your own oil and filter, expect to get attitude. So sorry I like to use Mobil 1 in my car, dude. I was heading down to Medieval Times with some friends and we got a flat tire on the Hwy 101 east. I called and talk with Steven about getting a new tire but they were going to be closing soon. Steven told me that they would take care of me when I got there. We waited for the tow truck to get to us and load the car. By this time it was 2 minutes before they close. I like Big O Tires. I've never had a problem with them and the techs are always fast and friendly. It's nice to buy your tires from them, because if you get a blow out or a flat, most of the time it's going to be under warranty. And I've never had them try to up-sell me things I didn't need or try to rip me off. They're definitely a good place to go when you need new tires. read more

I typically never add reviews to any site. I would recommend this shop to anyone. I have had 3 large repairs here and never felt like I was being taken advantage of. As a female, I always feel like I am being lied to about my vehicle, until Mike and Kyle at Big O made it easy for me. I also sent my girlfriend here for her brakes. They could have easily told her she needed a new pad, but instead wrote down everything that was wrong and sent her to the dealership to have them cover it...since it was something wrong with her vehicle and not just bad brakes. Big O is awesome! I had a slow leak in a tire and took it to another place first. They told me there was a nail in the tire and it had to be replaced. I took it to Big O for second opinion and they found two nails which could both be patched saving me about $300.00 as they are very expensive tires. They could have easily told me I needed a new tire and made a lot more money. When it comes time for new tires, I will definitely be coming back here! read more

Recently divorced, friends invited me and my children and dog up to flagstaff for the weekend. Throughout all the chaos in my world, I forgot that my ex told me two of my tires were shot. I started on our trip to flag, and had to stop at big O tires. Didn't know what to expect or how long we would be there. Kids and dog were already grumpy. Every single bay was full. Big O Tires in Phoenix Arizona has great customer service. They make sure that they go above and beyond for their customers. But they have the tendency to raise their prices after the job is complete. If you pay before the work is done it will be cheaper than it is after they have finished the work on your vehicle. The workers don't seem to be the bestie the world but they will do the best they can and try and help us in whatever way they can. The tread started to separate from my tire while I was driving on the freeway. I pulled off the first exit I could and Big O Tires was right off the freeway, thank goodness! I pulled in and was in a hurry to get to my work meeting. They offered to put my spare on for no charge, but my spare had a crack in the valve so it wouldn't hold air. I was going to be late for this meeting, so they quickly put a loaner tire on at no charge and got me on my way. They were fast, helpful, and went out of their way to help me. I told them I would be back Saturday for them to put new tires on and fix my spare. I am a single working mother of 5 children and don't have money or time to waste. Needed an oil change and they had a coupon out for a $16 dollar oil change. Made an appointment and got there 10 minutes early and checked in. They didn't take my car back until I had already been there for 45 minutes. They were not friendly. They didn't give me a time estimate or direct me to the waiting room. When they called my name they didn't come to the waiting room they yelled it from the register. I was there for an hour and twenty minutes altogether. All they told me at check out was that I mainly needed tires. The total came to about $22. Not impressed with the service or staff members. Considering I made an appointment and still waited over an hour for a simple oil change is ridiculous. I will not be going back there for anything. read more

Last night my wife was on the Loop 101 going to Desert Ridge. She ran over something (which turned out to be a screwdriver) and had to find a place pronto to get a tire replaced. She stopped by Big-O at around 5:30 and was immediately helped with no whining due to getting ready to close and after expecting to need a new tire for our Camaro SS they were able to repair and get her back on the road by 6:00 and we are grateful for the fast honest and friendly service. If I could put no stars I would. Took my mothers car in here for a free oil change a few weeks ago because I had a coupon for being a new home owner near by. First off they told me I had to drop the car off for a few hours just to do an oil change! Ok.. So I had to have my wife pick me up. I come back to pick up the car several hours later and they tell me I need all the brake pads changed on the car and it's going to be $600! Ok are these brake pads made of gold?! I said no way I can do it myself because I know my way around cars pretty dang well! So I go home and jack up the car and take the wheels off check all four calipers and the pads are about 3/4 new still on all four calipers! These guys are crooks and they are taking advantage of good hard working people. Whoever wrote a good review about this place probably got taken advantage of and they no nothing about cars and just nod their head yes to whatever these thieves say their car needs. read more

If you don't read the whole review just remember my saying when purchasing new tires. It's easy to get good ratings when there are no issues, however when we purchased tires for my wife's Nissan van the sales person was very helpful. He sold us the best tire Big O had to offer with their best warranty (65 K miles). We spent just under $800.00 for all 4 tires. 1 year later my wife took the car into Big O as it was shaking so bad we lost our hub caps. She was told that all 4 tires needed to be replaced. Turns out that under warranty we had a tire separating, one was dried out, and the other two were unsafe as a result of the 2 failed tires. To our surprise they wanted over $450 to replace the tires. I went down to speak with the manager as I was confused as to how this could be. I let the manager know it was clear the tires were failing from defects. Needless to say Big O was still unwilling to change their stance. We were so appalled that we went down the street to purchase 4 new Pirelli tires with 90k mile warranty for only $480.00 out the door. While having the tires replaced we found that the tires sold to us by Big O were the wrong tires as they were under the load size specified by the manufacture. No wonder they failed miserably. I promptly called Big O to report our findings, believing they would replace the tires at no charge for their gross oversight. However no change in their stance of charging us money to replace the tires. Turns out Big O put the undersized tires on the van knowing they do not make the correct size in that tire to keep our family safe. Why would they do this? Is it because they make more money on their own brand? It's important to know they put my family in jeopardy as well as causing the tires to fail yet wanted us to pay them to fix a problem they created. Luckily no one was hurt, unlike the families that purchased Firestone tires in 2000. read more

These people are crooks. Do not go there unless it is for tires or wheels and at that double check their prices and work. We j were upsold several unnecessary $750 of repairs that did not fix a problem. My husband told them what to do and they would not even make a small repair. He did it himself for only $2.99. That some week I had them check the AC on my car. $400 later for a tube from China for $136 plus $95 labor and the freon they did not refill I had to return only to be told the compressor was bad and needed to be replaced. I went to my dealer who filled the freon and everything is fine. We will NEVER go there again. Shame on them. read more

Bad service I went there for a new tire and they tell me that I HAVE TO COME BACK because they need to pick up the tires in the warehouse well ok, I come back to put a new tire and oil change they expend around 2 hour for that but they never change the oil. I have been using this location for tire service needs for years. I recently visited for a routine rotation and was very pleased with the entire experience. First, I was quoted a wait time of half an hour, but they had me in and out under that time. I was so pleased. Second, I had two little girls with me and was concerned about the waiting experience. We had been to a dealership previously where the facility was so filthy, I wouldn't let them touch anything. This store was so different. Everything was clean. It looked clean, it smelled clean, and it was such a relief to let them get down. Third, the waiting area was pleasant and kept us entertained. Not only was it clean, it also offered free wifi, water bottles, TV, and toys for kids. Finally, the staff was welcoming and professional. I bought 3 oil changes from a group coupon website for this Big O Tires. Every time I tried to use one I had to wait at least 3 or 4 days until they had an appointment open. When I would go in for my appointment it would take over an hour and a half for an oil change. I have walked into other oil change places WITHOUT an appointment and waited less than an hour. Now I have something leaking...fishy since every time I go in there they try to tell me 5 more things that are wrong with my car. Don't waste your time or money! read more
