On March 3rd 2020 I took my 2016 Ram 1500 that I purchased in 2018 to Big O tires 15320 E Iliff ave. in Aurora Co. to replace my tires. Bought 4 new tires, after they finished I noticed the tires were low on air and the computer showed only 25lbs in two of them, had them put more air in the tires. Not until now have I realized on the receipt it shows that my odometer reading was 2 miles and my license plate was a temp. I have had this truck for two years, so I am sure it has been registered with an actual license plate and has a bit more then 2 miles on it. My only guess for this discrepancy is to void any kind of tire rotation, or associated tire wear warrantee since everything is based on mileage. read more

So I stop by at 2p on a Saturday for a simple tire rotation. They are busy - that's expected. The gentleman tells me it will be 3:30 before he can get me in. No worries. I say "can I leave and be back at 3:30?" He says sure. I come back at 3:20 and the same guy is there but someone else helps me. He asks "what can I do for you?" and I tell him I was in earlier and talked to the other person for a tire rotation and was told to come back at 3:30. He writes me up and tells me I am next. An hour later I am still sitting here, my car has not moved, and I've seen 4 other cars rotated in and out. So I guess coming back at 3:30 just put me back into the current line? Why didn't the first guy tell me that when I asked if I could go and come back? And why did the second guy tell me I was "next" if next only meant "next" in line after the other cars that came while you left. Yah..awesome customer service. Will never be back here. I guess Les Schwab, just across the parking lot, will be getting my business for now on. Update: now 1.5 hours...still waiting. I had a flatter than flat tire. I called the store anxious and stressed out trying to get to there well before they closed to get it fixed or what was needed. I was concerned about imposing on their 'trying-to-tie-things-up-and-close' time; and as my Mother's Caregiver, I had my Mother with me trying up keep her settled and not get too confused. She did great by the way; and probably due to the amazing Customer service by the gentleman that work this store. They made me feel like they were happy to be of service, though it was at the end of an almost 12th hour workday. I was checked in by Anthony and Dan the manager took care of my tire. Which thankfully could be repaired. Then when they told me there was "No Charge" ?!?!?! I couldn't believe it!!!!!! I thought, "Gee ! I should have brought them Pizza!!!!" No doubt they deserve it. I have been there many times prior to this frantic visit, And I will continue to recommend and patronize this store . My brother and I were on our way out of town to attend our brother's funeral in Albuquerque. My tire warning came on so I turned around and went to Big O to get it checked. Not only did they get us in right away, they fixed the tire that had a screw in it and checked all the tires. When I went to pay they said there was nothing due. I was very appreciative. Came in about 3:45 on a Saturday stood there for about 10 min when another customer came in and stood at another desk as they have 3 or 4 different stations. When a employee finally came in he asked the guy who just got there if he could help him not thinking to ask who is next so that he could help the person who has been waiting the longest. When the next came in and asked if he could help me he said they didn't have the 2 tires I was looking to replace on the front they Would have to order them. I asked can they put the other kind of tires that are currently on the back he said yes for me to go outside to my car and find out what they were. Wait a minute I thought he was the tire guy now he wants me to do his leg work. I walked out to the car all right got in it and left. I've never been a big fan of car places like these but I have to say this location is the best I've found so far in Denver. For the last 6 months I've been seeing Eric for my car and he's done a fabulous job. He's honest and upfront with what doesn't need to be done and what does need to be done with my car. I trust him 100% with my car and probably will never go back to my Honda Dealer unless I absolutely have to. The waiting area is nice with free coffee and water and they have a snack machine as well. Customers are never waiting too long for their car to be repaired which shows that they are focused on each customer. First of all...I went in on Tuesday and set up an appointment for Friday. I was told they would get the total and call me. Well, they never called me. When I showed up to drop off my truck Thursday evening, they acted like it was no big deal and I should just accept what I get and I should like it. Second...They called on Friday morning with a price quote that Bill Gates would have had trouble paying. I told them to cancel the whole repair/service, I will come down and pick up my truck. This was the last straw!!! They did almost the same thing to me a couple years ago with my last truck. (I had to take it to a different location to get it fixed) I decided to give them another chance (Hey...everyone gets a second chance) Well they have proved that unless you just want a tire and maybe air put into your tire, you need to go someplace different. 15+ years of me as a customer...5 sets of tires and countless repairs. Big O Tire on chambers didn't top my fluids as paid for with the oil change and they TOOK MY RADIATOR CAP. I didn't even check when I left and then I broke down on the highway. I recently went in and bought some tires for my vehicle, the tires they sell have three different prices. After putting 4 brand new tires on the vehicle, something was wrong with the way the it drove. I brought the truck in four different times and they kept telling me that it was the suspension. Suspension was checked from four different shops who found nothing wrong. We found out from another tire store that it was a manufacture defect in the tires, Les Schwab offered to put four new tires on the car just to see if it drove any different and it drive AMAZING. They said that the tires that were given to us by BIG O were not the right fit for my truck. Chad the owner of Big O Tires in Aurora was rude uncaring and did not care or stand behind the warranty that I had on the tires. Chad told me that I needed to call Goodyear and handle it myself! I spent $800 on tires there and was left with $800 worthless tires! I've been going to the shop for about two years now and have spent HUNDREDS of dollars with them. I gave them a lot of company vehicles to work on, then when there's a problem they leave you hanging and act like a complete idiot! Please be aware of the shop and do not go there! I'm taking the shop to\ small claims court and also I've also written a BBB complaint! As someone who works in Retail, I can tell you he has no idea what the heck he is doing when it comes to customer service. I know this because when I went to another BIG O tire, they told me that they also had heard MANY MANY complaints about Chad and the way he treats his customers. Went in for a 13.99 oil change (coupon), ended up $20.52 with tax. Even with the $3.00 fluid disposal fee and tax that doesn't add up. BUT, when I started to drive off the car was MAKING A TERRIBLE BANGING NOISE! It wasn't making the noise when I drove it in, but the salesman tried to tell me it had been making the noise when I took it in. They took it back into the shop and discovered a tire weight was knocking against a tire rim. After the whole experience they didn't even apologize. Honestly, I was truly panicked that I was going to end up with a huge bill just for getting my oil changed. I'm sorry to say that I won't be back and I have used this shop for over 20 years! read more

I have consistently horrible services here at this big o tires, new tires not balanced properly on two of my cars. Tire rotates were they only did half the car... I sat in disbelieve when they handed me the keys saying it's done.. On 7/8/2014 I needed a new valve stem, I was losing air.. So I went in (it's under new ownership) so I tell them the problem and even offer to pay them to fix the issue, even tho I bought the tires there. So I ask while it's here can you rotate the tires. So I get the car back I see they rotated the tires ... I didn't even think to check the valve stem....... The place is under new ownership after all.... A few hour later I see the tire is losing air.... Crap are you kidding me....... Its the old valve stem......really...? The old valve stem... And I notice that they scratched the hub caps all to hell.... So I call them ... They say bring it back...... I say no, there is one in the area I'm working I'll take it there... We bought the $39.98 Healthy Car Special, which is only for standard oil not synthetic. The gentleman on the phone, I believe Mel is his name, was very helpful with my questions and thoroughly explaining exactly what they were going to change & work on with my vehicle. Despite the other negative reviews I definitely recommend this location, they were quick (even on a Saturday) and the price only bumped up $10 for synthetic blend, but he let me know of all charges prior to working on it. read more

I went in because I heard a clunking, which they could not reproduce but wanted to replace my entire steering mechanism for $800. I told them no and the guy who checked me out wanted to debate with me of releasing my car. I took it to Jacob's Automotive and they said they had 4 mechanics test drive it and could not reproduce the clunking so to wait until whatever it is gets worse. They said otherwise the car was working the way it was supposed to and was safe. I've had Big O change my alternator when all that was wrong was my old GPS was draining my battery, but they told me that it was an electrical thing and that after replacing the alternator that they would need to check out my electrical system. So went to Big O today to plug a hole in my wifes tire. The customer service was EXCELLENT from the start. Luke Aaron looked at the tire and it was badly worn as I am need of a new set. Unfortunately I dont have the funds right now. He gave me some prices while waiting for them to patch the tire with no pressure to sell TODAY like so many do. I had been to this same Big O a couple years ago for the tires on my car. They offered to rotate them for free (since they were Big O tires) and long story short somehow the key for the lock nut on the tires had gotten lost. I haven't touched the tires so I was thinking that it was probably Bio O that didn't give me the key back. Well, they must have read my mind (or facial expression) and they immediately offered to try and get them off and replace it with a new set. It didn't work so Luke went of his way to find a Lincoln dealer who could help get them off and offered to reimburse me for any out of pocket costs. This has quite possibly been the best experience I have ever had when dealing with any automotive problems. All of this (and an oil change which was long overdue) took place in less than a couple of hours and went by so fast I hardly realized in in their comfy lounge. I left paying only $31 for the tire repair and an oil change! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you use this Service Center for ANY of your auto service needs. The staff and mechanics are fast and courteous. I did have to go back to have my tires fixed again because of a slow leak after they had fixed the issue once, but they made me a priority, got me in and out quickly and we're apologetic and friendly. Eric went above and beyond to tell me how to make sure I did not get ripped off on a transmission repair, since they do not do that here. He told me how long the job should take for different scenarios, as well as how to ask for the hourly rate for repair at different mechanics. Thank you for the honest interaction. I pulled in right at 7 AM (opening time) with no appointment, the gentleman came right out to meet me and see what services I needed. I had a large piece of metal in my tire and was praying that the tire could be fixed, he told me that he didn't think so but they would get it in and look at it. He drove my truck straight into the bay and the technician started working away. 10 minutes later he came back and said that the tire could be fixed and it would be ready in 5 minutes. He let me know my truck was ready and that there was no charge for the repair!! I have never even been to this shop before but I will use them for my tire needs from now on. They were very polite, prompt, helpful and it was refreshing to get great customer service and leave the shop happier then when I got there! read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. The level of incompetence of the manager Dan Myrick was a bit overwhelming. It started with him screwing up the receipt by not putting my plate number on it so that I could be reimbursed by my company. He did offer to hand write it on there. Apparantly he does not know how that works. He said it was not possible to void out the receipt and correct it. How is this not possible? He writes a letter in a seperate ticket saying that I bought tires there with my plate number on it. I go to leave and they have the wrong tires on my truck. I look at my receipt and they have the wrong tires listed on it. How can that be? He has to void out and correct the receipt now right? Wrong! I wait another hour and a half for them to go to their warehouse and get the correct tires. In the meantime I try to get the receipt corrected. Instead he writes another receipt with the correct tires and license number with zero money paid to be used with the incorrect receipt that had already been paid with the incorrect tires on it. How do I get reimbursed for this. I told him to just put my old tires back on and I will go somewhere else. This idiot tells me he will have to charge me to mount and balance my tires to do this. Unbelievable! I would not pay for that. By now I've had it with this guy and he tells me I need to wait outside. They put my tires back on without balancing and I left there with my air pressure ranging from 31 to 42 lbs. I suppose he is going to have to figure out how to void that receipt now or face fraud charges. Left and went to Discount Tire with much better results. read more

I had a flat tire. Came here and they told me they couldn't find a hole in my tire to patch, rather the wheels on my car were faulty and I needed to replace all of them. Not my tire, my entire wheel. They filled my tires and said that if it happened again I'd have to replace all my wheels. Two days later I was super flat, so I went to a conoco that I trust and sure enough they found the hole in my tire and patched it up. This place just wants more money. Horrible garbage. read more

This place is an absolute rip off. Sure they seem nice with customer service and have experienced staff. But every dollar you're spending here could be going to an honest mechanic somewhere else. These guys are trained to get top dollar for everything. I've called for an estimate and received a quote of $850. On that same phone call by simply saying never mind I can get it cheaper he instantly dropped his price to $600. On another call he finally lowered to $555. I called another shop and got it all done out the door for $430. These guys are looking for people to take advantage of that just pay the price and don't ask any questions. Came to this location over the weekend and was not impressed upon entering the store by the rude person up front. Didn't greet or acknowledge me whatsoever, and I thought about leaving then and there. I later learned he is the owner of the shop and am surprised to see the owner not taking pride and care in his customers. The rest of the experience was great and was helped by another gentleman, who I assume is the shop manager, and he was super nice and helpful. The tech "MO" shown on my ticket was also really helpful in answering my questions. I am not sure if I will be back because I can't imagine supporting a business owner who treats their customers this way, but would be great to work directly with the techs. read more
