brought my car in for an oil change and then it leaked for days. [[HIGHLIGHT]]when I brought it back they were extremely rude saying "it's not leaking because of us, it must be from where you took it before".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] false, because my car has NEVER leaked anything. so I took it to Firestone because it was still leaking after take 5 "double checked" and sure enough, the leak was fixed by them doing another oil change because Take 5 did not seal correctly. now they are saying they need to "investigate" in order for me to get a refund when it's all on paper. don't come here. Ok, so I didn't end up getting an oil change here but I wish I did. I needed an oil change for my lease. I thought it had to be done by an ASE certified mechanic (which they have), but upon review of my lease, the entire service center needed to be ASE certified. I should have done more research before going. Ok, just some background info. When I do a review of a business, it is my experience at that specific time, that I'm reporting about. Your experience maybe better or worse depending on your observations at the time. I do my best to be truthful without exaggeration. Here is my final update on take 5 oil change service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Finally after dealing with management and owners that dont pass on the correct information to the proper people on the management chain.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I finally got some traction.again. was made whole again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]1st manager had no clue on how to address customers with their issues or complaints.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And never forwarded info to the owner. When he was finally contacted. He had no info or idea of the issue and forgot about it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Then the 2nd manager seemed more attentive to my issue but the owner was dragging his feet[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Finally I met the actual owner. And explained the issue. Oh yes sir , we will get it taken care of well many days later I contacted the shop and they had the part to my truck.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had them install it properly and securely. Told them I would give them another chance. And let them change my oil. (Maybe) . So this issue was dragged out to almost 3 months. Which it could of, should of been taken care of the first week. I took my 2004 Honda CR-V to Take 5 Oil Change (Aurora, S. Chambers Rd) for a coolant flush on June 21, 2025. Shortly after, my car overheated badly due to damage caused during their service -- including a locked thermostat, broken belts, and a collapsed radiator hose. I even had my kids in the car when it started smoking, which was dangerous.
