First time I went to Big O for an alignment, 10 of my lugs on my truck were not torqued tight enough. Second time today, I find out that the tech at the last service cross threaded my lug nut and they snapped my stud and made me pay for their mistake. Also to mention, right after they showed me my snapped stud, JOEL had the guts to try and sell me new tires after telling me it will cost $150 to install a $15 part that takes 10 minutes to put in, are you serious? Not the time or place to try and find ways to make me pay more money. they are the only ones that have touched my wheels in the past few months. It was one of those days where everything that can go wrong went wrong and I had to come in with an issue with one of my tires. I had my tires replaced here 2 years ago.. So basically I showed up to Big O Tires with a car battery that was dead and had to keep the car running, gas light had just turned on and there was a brand new battery in my trunk (I had just gone to Lexus to purchase the battery prior and my brother the family mechanic was supposed to pop it in for me later that evening). I had a bubble in my tire and there's no way to fix that other then getting a whole new tire or your tire will blow out and hecckkkkk no I wasn't waiting for that to happen. Luckily my brother (the mechanic) saw it while I was on FaceTime with him frantically wondering why my car wouldn't start that morning (all hyper from preworkout as I was supposed to be heading to the gym) and was giving all kinds of system errors, everything but a dead battery warning!! Performance cars be messing with you.. Justin at Big O helped me this time, kept me laughing and smiling while I was babbling on and on about my list of problems that day, oh and I didn't have a working phone because I had just switched carriers so had to use their phone to call my sis for a ride after dropping my car off. I had a flat tire last week and this was the closest place and I had to drive here. I asked for fixing the existing tire and instead they refused and immediately tried to sell me new tires instead of my existing ones that had inly 19K miles on it. I was able to pump air and take my car to Toyota dealership, and the dealership fixed the tire for only $40 and told me that it was at 6 mm (40% worn) and had another 10K miles before it needs to get changed. The rip off mentality in this place definitely exists, and I dont recommend you to take them on their words when they try to sell you their tires. Note: I asked them if they provided Bridgestone they didnt even have that. Originally I had given these guys a pretty bad rating. I had taken my car to get the intake manifold replaced which costed me roughly $800. When I got my car back the check engine light was still on and my car sounded and drove worse than when I brought it in. Frustrated, I chose not to bring it back for a few months and instead left an angry review to avoid conflict. The guys at Big O Tires Dublin gave me a call a few times after I had posted the review to have me come back in but I really did not want to -- this was until I had a flat tire. My tires were brand new and bought from them still under warranty so I went back for the tire but not mentioning anything about the intake manifold. One of the guys recognized me and asked again if I would come back later in the week so they can take a look at my intake manifold again since they had seen I was displeased with the service they provided and my car was still not fixed. He seemed like he was genuinely sorry for all the trouble I had gone through driving my car knowing it had issues because it wasn't properly taken care of the first time. So I decided to come back and I believe it was mainly BJ who helped me out- the process was extremely smooth and I really did trust him with my car. He even rushed the parts so it could be done earlier since I was moving out of town the following week to ensure my car was fixed before I left town. I came to pick my car up and they did not charge me anything since It fell under warranty even after all those months. My car is all fixed now and I'm having no issues with it 3 weeks later as I update my review today. I appreciate their consistency to track me down and make things right. They're a good business to support and if you have any issues with their service, I believe after my experience that they will work with you to make sure it's right. Have been going here for a little over 6 years for tires and oil changes. Had a couple of mishaps here and there at this location, but nothing major until today. I took the car in for an oil change and tire rotation which the employee on the phone said it'll take 1- 1.5hrs. Got there 25 mins later and now its 2hrs. Ok no big deal so I left the car there. 3hrs later it was ready. My car takes 6.9 quarts of oil. I actually measure out 6.9 quarts in a container whenever I go because I buy in bulk. Today I didn't feel the need to do so. I took 2 5 quart containers in, hoping to get 3 quarts leftover. When I picked up the car there was only 1 quart left, alright whatever. While driving a couple of miles down the road I checked my cars oil gauge and it read 1/4 below max. Funny because 6.9 quarts will get the gauge to Max. I pulled the car over and also checked if the wheels have been rotated. They were NOT. I U-turned and went back to tell them about the missing oil and they failed to rotate my tires. They told me the employee actually put 7.5 quarts in. If usually 6.9 quarts hits the Max line then why doesn't 7.5 quarts? They said drive around, sometimes it takes time for the computer to "read right". As for the tire rotation it was crossed off on the work form. All good I'll just do it myself when I get back home. Back home 10 minutes later, I started to get ready to rotate my own tires and that is when I discovered the major damage to the bottom of the front bumper. I drove back immediately. I got there and had a conversation with the guy that's been helping me outside and away from other customers. He acknowledged the problem and got the store manager to address the problem. He also acknowledged the problem and told me to get him an estimate of the damage. I was ok with this since they are taking responsibility. I got back home to do the tire rotation and check the extent of the damage. As I was about to start I got a phone call from the store manager. He talked to his employee that worked on my car and said the damage was already there. Since his employee said "it was already there", he is now completely NOT taking any responsibility of the damages. I asked him if he expects all his customers to take pictures of their own car before having work done by them. His answer was, "I guess so". This was the same store manager that denied responsibility of his employees damaging my wheel 3 years ago. This damaged wheel is what I use to figure out if they have rotated my tires on my visits. I can tell you they failed to rotate my tires on a few occasions and it's because of their mistake that I know this. I will NEVER be taking any cars nor refer anyone to this facility. read more

Had a flat tire on my SUV and I was on the verge of leaving on a long trip with family the next day. Realized the problem at around 3pm the day before trip. Took the car to this place and told them the situation they were quick to accommodate the car and get the flat tire assessed and addressed in about 1 1/2 hours. They charged $25 for this, just $25 and for that were willing to work within their schedule. Great customer service by the front desk staff and the shop was clean and well maintained. For my daughter's Charger way back in 2013, new tires (after it was stolen and taken for a 'joy' ride, which I did not appreciate! since that is my name) and they all had to be replaced. We had a weird grinding sound coming from the front of our car. Took it in to Big O Dublin CA to get it checked out fearing the worst. Joel Lasker took our info and said he would check it out for us. Within an hour we got we got a call saying he had found and fixed the problem. Loose lug nuts were the culprit. All they die was tighten them for us and the car has been fine ever since. The cost? I had a flat tire and they claimed it could not be fixed and tried to sell me new tires. I then took the flat to Costco and they fixed it for free. I don't know enough about tires to understand if this was a situation where reasonable mechanics could disagree, but I did ask Big O Tires if Costco would be able to fix it. They said Costco definitely could not because the nail was too close to the edge of the tread. But when I left and took the tire to Costco, Costco fix it for free without any problems. Big O Tires also tried to charge me for repairing the flat when they didn't. When I asked why they were still charging me, they said this was a charge for putting the spare tire. However I had told them to back the car up and I would put the donut on myself. But they said they would "do that for me." In their defense they ended up removing the charge. The whole thing felt like an upsell to me. Maybe it was in the grey zone and arguable, but either way, it would have cost nearly a thousand dollars if I had followed their advice (my car is an AWD and that means the tires need to match). Costco fixed it for free. Buyer be warned! read more

I was genuinely and eagerly greeted for popping in on a friday afternoon with no appointment. Justin and Joey both quickly figured out my needs and regularly met me for updates while the tire techs worked diligently in back. I posted up with a folding chair and laptop in a shady, out of the way spot. Even some of the techs checking on the other vehicles chatted briefly with me. TLDR:Only go here for a tire change if you have 4+ hours. Fine for patching up tires. Detailed experience: Last time I had a good experience of patching tire here so I thought of going here for changing all 4 tires of my car. I called them in the morning to get an appointment to which the salesperson said that it's not needed and I could drive down to Big O tires and it will be taken care of in an hour. I was pretty impressed and drove down to this location in the afternoon. The salesperson at the front desk told me that it will be ready in an hour and I could wait in the lobby. After 1.5 hours, I noticed that my car is still in the parking lot and they haven't even started working on it. When I asked about ETA, they said it will take another 1.5 hours as it is super crowded and I was like "why didn't you tell me about it when I came in? " to which they didn't have an answer. It's just scammy to give the wrong estimate to the customer and make them wait for 1.5 hours so they don't go to some other business as any other business would need at least an hour. Why 2 stars and not 1 star? The store manager,Mike, called me to apologize for the salesperson's behavior/miscommunication and told me that he would take care of my car if I could go back. I appreciated his gesture but would go to Costco tire change that works on appointment and is much cheaper for same set of tires. read more

I have been going to this Big O for years and Mike has always taken care of me. Recently I took my truck in and discussed how I wanted to get a lift and some new tires. They were able to help me pick out exactly what I wanted and do the entire truck. I was blown away with the level of service they provided and how many options I had through them. At 4:30pm i noticed that there is a nail in my front tire. I found the nearby tireshop which happen to be this BigOTire branch. At 4:40pm i arrived there, all bays had cars being worked on and i was concerned that they wont be able to fix my tire. Mike greeted me and said they will fix the tire before shop closes at 5:30pm. ~15-20 min later technician started to work on my car and found that the nail didnt puncture the tire - no air leakage. Super fast and efficient service. Did not try to sell me anything more than I needed for a very pristine maintained Toyota RAV4. Made an appointment online, check in was easy. I didn't plan on staying there to wait since they do not have a big lobby to wait in, so I went home. Within 30 mins, the car was ready! They advised how much brake pad life I had, and tire tread life as well - suggested maybe next time to get it changed but could get away with a little longer depending. Very honest! Only complaint was my tire guage was turned on after I left. Not sure what tripped the sensor or they forgot to turn it off but it went off on its own eventually. They also sprayed wax on my tires. My appointment time was honored....so DH, DGD and I took a walk over to Panera (separate review)....and in about an hour, she was ready to go!! NO UP-SALE!!! Super friendly, and efficient staff!!
