Called two different days, I realize they can be very busy. However, after being on hold after 30 minutes. I decided to call the next day. This is the worst Garage ever. My wife took our car in Big O Tires because our AC was on the Fritz. She talked to the rep Jimmy. He said it was a burnt fuse box it would cost $2700 for a new one or they could reroute a new fuse out side the fuse box for $695. He said it was a pretty big job and it would 3 hours of labor to do the job. So after that I went online to see if anyone else was having this problem. I found out that it is pretty common with Chrysler's. A 6 min video on youtube saved the day. All you have to do is pull the burnt fuse out of its home and reset it in one of the empty spare fuse slots. My friend and I did it and it took us 10 min and the ac works great. I sent the video to Jimmy and he never called me back Funny because he was caught. When my wife went back into Big O Tires. Jimmy was a little rude to my wife and said oh you're husband is going to do the YouTube thing. Well Jimmy it work and saved me a lot of money. I HATE taking my vehicles to dishonest garages they will always screw you over. You guys should stick to what's in your name Tires not auto repair. I will never use Big O Tires Again read more

Came in a few hours before closing cause I had a screw in my tire. Melvin was at the front on the phone and had a few people waiting in the lobby. Even though he was busy, he let us know that he'd be with us shortly. It's nice when they acknowledge that you're there instead of acting like you're not even standing there. I called David at the Gibson store, from the freeway driving in from California. I had used them a couple of months before for an emergency tier replacement and received platinum service. When I mentioned I wasn't sure I might not get there before they closed, David said - "Call when you're close - maybe we can stay open for you." I managed to get there ten minutes before closing. He repaired my tire - no charge. At 78 years old - I can't tell what this meant to me - to be treated with such respect and the customer service was stunning. I will be shopping for my tires here. read more

This weekend I had two tire problems. First was a slow leak that was fixed, free of charge. I paid a three year package of tire balancing and alignment. Perhaps that's why I got this flat fixed for free? Sunday morning, one of my tire sensors stopped working and a message came across telling me it needed service. Again, no charge. Wow! In the past I brought my car after hitting a curb. Along the side wall the was a tear. I thought that I would be replacing the tire. They were honest and told me that newer tires have extra material above the rim and since the tear was small and no metal tread was visible, the tire was fine. So I find them to be very honest and friendly. I have gotten other work done here in the past including batteries, oil changes, and suspension work done. Customer service here is excellent. I will continue to support this store. read more

I'm only giving three stars because of a mixed experience getting four new tires on Sunday. The tire part was great, got them quick and installed them perfectly. The manager was very helpful, knowledgable and nice to work with. I was expecting a top-rate experience...and it almost was. The bad part was my 3 return trips because, quite literally, their guy had no idea how to use a tire pressure gauge. Seriously. My TPMS was reporting huge (5-6psi) variations between each tire and from the correct pressure. Seriously, it's not that hard to set a fairly precise pressure...but it will NEVER HAPPEN if you're handling the air connector, pushing it in-and-out and all over the place while you're trying to get a reading, as their guy did three times. After I observed this and suggested he not do that in order to get a stable reading, he told me "no it's okay". Then I asked why I am back here a third time with very incorrect pressures. No Reply. Anyway, this story ends by me giving up on them, with an almost 10psi variation from the correct pressure on one tire, and 3-4psi on others. I went home and used my own compressor and digital pressure gauge. Guess what? On my first attempt I got all the tires set to their exact correct pressures...on my gauge and the car's TPMS display. I can only hope the guy who was trying to fill my tires was not same one that did the rest of the work...SMH read more

The location of this store is the most convenient as it is freeway accessible. David helped me out and made sure my vehicle was in and out quickly. I was in for an alignment but they also made me aware of any other recommendations for my vehicle. The car drives straight and I have no complaints. The waiting room was quiet and they had a vending machine available. Told me spark plugs would be about $200 to change when I called. So I brought my truck in thinking I could trust these guys after my diagnosis that was $78 they tried to quote me $580 to change 8 spark plugs. Never felt so robbed in my life don't go here. Was forced to pay the $78 to get my keys back. Straight robbery. read more

This location has stubborn employees that do not communicate well, lie about the use of personal information, and mistreat your vehicle. To make a long story short, I came here to get my tire replaced. Screw got in too close to the sidewall to be fixed, needed a new tire. Settled for one they had in stock because I didn't want to wait a week to get one the same brand that my car had. Employee that helped me out lied to me and said they use my address for "insurance reasons" they don't, they send you unsolicited ads in the mail. Different employee that took my car out of the bay took my car out for a joy ride (sped off down the parking lot) in order to "reset the tpms". I did not ask for this, I could have done it myself. They simply don't give you options. Just like I was charged for a "Tire protection plan" I didn't ask for. Luckily there's a clause in the terms that allows me to get a refund within 30 days but they tried to tell me I couldn't get my money back until I had to point out the clause in the terms. Just contacted their customer service online for the second time because this is ridiculous. I already had low expectations for a franchise like this but they really know how to make a customer really displeased with them. Stay away from Big O Tires in general but this location specifically. read more

The TPS in my truck was on so I decided to take it into this location. I fully went into this experience thinking that I was going to have to pay to get the problem fixed. Within 20 minutes they came out and told me that they were able to pull two nails out of my tires and fix it. Walking up to the cash register I was stopped and said there's no payment needed just want you to be safe. Thank you guys !!!! read more

The worst experience with Big O ever at Gibson location. No acknowledgment of their negligence, shotty parts, parts not installed correctly, overpricing, high labor, multiple visits, then having to go to another service to ensure my daughter would be save and not have any issues driving. All due to non - experienced or fast working techs to turn around fast business. I went to a competitor near Big who kindly did a replacement at no charge. As a consumer you don't want to pay for a service and have the same issue afterwards and then be told it's another issue. They said it was brakes, then suggested to go to another one of their locations to have a full diagnostic because they do not do full diagnostics at Gibson due to other noises and smoke. This was after Gibson Big did a test drive. It appeared that that tech was very knowledgeable. I go to the new location and was told its control arms, not brakes the brakes and pads are almost new. Since I left a deposit at the first location for brakes, I assumed I was getting, I opted go back put that $$ towards the control arms. Leave again and the car makes the same sound. Go to another provider they show me the bolts and plate on one side are not mounted right, with pictures and parts to show and the bolt halfway in. Call to speak with the female manager at Big who says now knowing I am now at Firestone, and they replaced the shot job done by Big O at no cost! She says bring the car back. Well at this point I wanted to entertain she would do the considerate thing and offer to work with me, maybe a portion refund, maybe some compensation maybe just maybe. No not even, just bring the car back the next day and a more experienced tech will be there. She didn't inform the man at the desk that I was coming in like she said she would. I met him on the first visit. I explained everything again and he offered to look at the problem again. So, he then tells me it's the struts! It is now but it wasn't the first time you checked the car or the second. Even when I was told to go to the other location for a full check and was told I needed control arms that now I maybe didn't even need. Who knows it's a 2012 car, but also who I purchased the car from had the struts worked on a year ago August at Big. The car is used slightly and no rough driving so assuredly, it was a partial or bad strut job to begin with. He would speak to the manager and call me the next day because they want to work with me. I need the car working for the safety of my daughter so there's not a lot of time to be spending on this project back n fourth. They would lower the price a bit for a quick strut job but was still well over most shops. Me paying $919 for controls arms, and again not installing properly should result in a more reasonable outcome. And new struts still over $980. Of course, I will not have them do anything to my daughters' car moving forward. AGAIN...this turned out to be a safety issue and money that possibly didn't need to be spent. I am sure and as well no acknowledgment or attempt to work with me to fix the new issue other than price gouge me again. Even commenting we will have a better tech in to do the strut job. Why didn't you have a better tech in the first place? Should we consumers come in and do an inspection on your team and ensure they have proper experience or certifications to work on cars? NO that's your job to do Big O! I feel I was taken advantage of, not heard and, and they were dishonest. More to come. read more

Big O almost ruined my car. They left the transmission cap loose and transmission fluid was leaking out. Luckily, I spotted it. I also asked for my windshield wipers to be replaced. They only replaced one windshield wiper. That makes no sense to me and was not conveyed at the time of the service. Horrible place to take your care!! read more

These guys (and gal) were absolutely fantastic when I needed a tire repaired 30 minutes before they closed. They popped my spare on for me at no charge, fixed my tire with a screw in it, and I was able to keep my car overnight and get it replaced this morning for under $25. Every single person was so nice, even when I walked into the store accidentally without a mask! Eek! But seriously, I will trust them with any car issue I have in the future. These guys are thieves. Quote a price, drop your stuff off, cause it's not in stock...call back a day later to say that it will be more than double. That's after they have your repair hostage. They have patched my tire twice now and it's been super fast each time even if the lobby might be full. It's a win/lose situation that I'm the duchess here. Jimmy is awesome. He's been taking care of me and my mom since he's been store manager for all my problems (cause I'm so unlucky when it comes to cars). We've been going here for years since we used to live in the neighborhood behind it and even since we've moved its still our go-to tire spot. They're helpful and knowledgable and always answer my questions. No problems with my car after every time they've worked on it (which trust me it's a lot.) Services I've had: High mileage oil change Tire replacement (all four) Tire/Steering wheel alignment And today: replacement of one tire (since I have warranty from my previous visit) it only cost $23 and some change for labor. Overall satisfied with their quality of work. Thank you for always having my family's back. The were wonderful, our work truck needed new front tires they didn't have a jack to do the job but they went to the rancho store to get it and got our delivery truck done and returned to us within a couple of hours.
