My son bright his car there this am cause his car wouldn't start. They needed it for a few hours so we left it there. He gets a call back and says that his battery is fried he needs new brakes and windshield wipers need to be replaced all for $800. My son tells them not to do any of the work and we will be there to pick up the car since he has a warranty from AutoZone on the battery he bought just six months ago. When we returned we were charged $180 for them to tell us it was labor to test his battery, battery tests are free!!!! Rip off. I will never go back. read more

Can't say enough good things. My boyfriend and I were passing through town when our oil light came on. We'd recently gotten an oil change and after checking the dip stick, it seemed we were far past max. We dropped by Big O and David helped us out right away. Somehow we were about 2.5 quarts overfilled! As you can imagine, that's not great for your engine, but David got us all squared away in no less than 15 minutes. From POOR, to GOOD, to GREAT!!! POOR? On 09-04-2019 at 12:23PM I approached Big O Tire's 15 South Gibson's senior mechanic, scanner (diagnostic expert) James Daubney in the garage and he replied: "Customers are not allowed in the garage!" POOR? At 12:36PM, I went into the store and I explained to Jimmy Duran (15 South Gibson's store manager), that my general partner who is paying the bill is not answering her cell phone. I explained to the store manager that I drove 20 miles across town for their senior mechanic, James Daubney, diagnostic (scanner) expert, to analyze (diagnose) a spark plug misfire, a lean code and I made the store manager aware that my AC compressor was not working, 15 South Gibson's store manager replied: "Keep calling your partner to pay our diagnostic (scanner) technician." At 2:30PM (2 hours later), my partner answered her phone, James Daubney diagnosed my check engine light, Jimmy Duran's 15 South Gibson's store charged my general partner's card $65.20 for a half-hour of labor. POOR? On 09-05-2019 at 1:51PM, I presented 15 South Gibson's diagnostic to my preferred Big O Tire's Maryland Parkway store's manager and my preferred mechanic (Ron). I phoned 15 South Gibson's store manager informing him that his diagnostic Order No 48675 and invoice number 028899-48675 were missing a lean code and AC diagnostic, and 15 South Gibson's store manager replied: "Bring your SUV back to our store and we will charge you $135.00 to perform a lean code and AC diagnostic." GOOD At 2:30PM, the Maryland Parkway Store Manager and my preferred mechanic recommend me to go to Big O Tire's on 170 N. Pecos Road store. GREAT I presented 15 South Gibson's diagnostic to 170 N. Pecos Road's store manager, David Mackey, and his diagnostic (scanner) technician provided to me diagnostic codes P0352 (Ignition Coil #B, Primary Circuit Fault), P0171 (too Lean Bank 1), P0302) for me to bring to my preferred Maryland Parkway garage (store manager and mechanic). GREAT On 9/6/2019, at 7:00AM, I will bring my vehicle to Big O Tire's Maryland Parkway Store where they will assist me to repair what is absolutely necessary within my $500.00 budget. read more

This was the most atrocious behavior of any car place that I have ever experienced. We have bought all of our tires from Big O for this car for the past 5 years we have had it. Every time we get the warranty for the tires. Last Saturday I took the car in to the Gibson location after having a pretty bad couple of days. I was discharged from the hospital on Friday, when I got home I noticed the front driver side tire had some cracking and needed to be taken in. I was in too much pain and decided I would do it first thing in the morning. Wake up in the morning and my car was broken into, the glovebox contents completely taken with some other stuff. After putting myself together I went to Big O and told them that I wanted an oil change and had a coupon and the front driver tire was cracking and needed to be replaced but I had a warranty but no paper work since it was literally stolen that morning from the car and if they could look it up. I also expressed that I have had a pretty bad year, let alone week and to please not try and pull anything over on me. Well that's exactly what they tried to do. After I signed a quote for the oil change (which they didn't even give me my coupon for it in the final bill) I asked about the tires and they said they still hadn't looked at them yet. 1-2 hours goes by and a new worker calls me up and says that they can replace the tire and the other front one needs to be replaced and it'll be $500. $500!?! What about my warranty? The insisted that I didn't have any and when I told them I wanted to go line by line in my account guess what, we found the warranties. Then the manager insisted that we needed to make sure that each tire matched up each serial/warranty number wasting another 1-2 hours. I was so upset that I called my dad in the lobby saying that they were trying to scam me and if they didn't do what I had already paid for before that I was going to need his help with the issue. The manager called me outside to say that I was slandering the place... it's not slander if it's true. I sat outside the rest of the time until the finished the tires and oil change. I asked for the regional managers number and was told they don't give it out and that he'd contact me. It's been over a week and no contact... surprise surprise. They also quoted me to fix a bearing for the front tires that had no issue before I took it in and now it makes a horrible grinding noise. I will NEVER take my car back to this location; they use to have the best team and management and now it's full of a bunch of scam artists, vandals and thieves. On Saturday July 31/2021 I've purchased 4 new tires from "Big O Tires" store located at 15 South Gibson, Las Vegas NV. 89012. Tire description: Performer CXV sport BW - 265/50 r20 107v. The total cost of the 4 tires, mount and balance, TPMS Reseal kit, disposal fee, tire protection plan, and 3-year extended warranty, 3-year roadside assistance, 3-year extended warranty for free tire replacement was $751.20 Once I drove my car, I immediately have noticed that the steering wheel and the car are shaking. When I called the store explaining the problem; they asked me to bring the car back to rebalance the wheels. I brought the car back, and they said they've rebalanced the wheels, and the car or steering wheel should not shake anymore. (2) I drove my car; the car and the steering wheel are still shaking. I called the store and I had to bring the car again for another wheel balance. (3). When I drove my car, the car and the steering wheel are still shaking. I called the store and I had to bring the car again for another wheel balance. The manager said that he had replaced one of the tires that's causing the shaking. (4) I drove the car again, no change, it's still shaking. I called the store manager (David Lucero) asking him for a refund, since they cannot fix the problem, Mr. Lucero asked me to speak to the regional manager (Jimmy Duran) since he cannot make such decision. I contacted Mr. Duran and he suggested bringing the car to a different location that is equipped with better technology balancing machine. The store located at 170N. Pecos Rd. Henderson, NV. 89074 When the 5th wheel balance was done at the Pecos location, the car shaking was at its worst since I bought the tires. (5) I called Mr. Lucero, and asked for refund, and he declined. I've tried contacting Mr. Duran several times and he never returned my calls. Since I cannot continue bringing the car back for indefinite number of times; I've purchased a set of 4 tires from a different retailer. The new tires from that retailer are balanced and have no issues at any speed. After "Big O Tires" failed to resolve this issue; I'm going to small claim court requesting a full refund. read more

Angel is the man! He gave me a $20 coupon I could use for my oil change. He knew exactly what oil I needed (unlike other auto shops, where the employees didn't know and asked ME if I knew smh) He took me in as a drop-in versus all the other places in town that required appointments which I thought was total BS. He was professional and had excellent customer service skills. He even went over my inspection with me to make sure I understood his recommendations. I trust his judgement. Was a quick and cheap turnaround to get my tire patched. Took about 30 minutes in total, and that was with a line when I came in. Very professional COVID protection including plastic on the seats and wearing masks at all time. I came to Big O tires because the last company I used refused to warranty my ties and I was in need of a new tire. I made an appointment and when I showed up 5 minutes early I was told it would be a 3 hour wait. The representative was rude and I had to speak to someone else who tried to blame me for why I received rude customer service when I was the one who was being told my appointment was irrelevant because they were behind. After finally being serviced I was told my warranty for the replaced tire was good at any Big O. Less than 2 weeks after my initial visit I woke up to the tire Big O replaced being flat. I called the Big O closest to my house only for them to tell me they don't have a warranty for me in the system as well as the lady on the phone being completely unhelpful. So I called this Big O location because it was the location I got my tire replaced at. The first call Melvin spoke quickly and hung up on me. So I called back because I was actually only calling to see why my warranty wasn't accessible at the other Big O location. The 2nd time I called Melvin picked up again I immediately said Melvin you hung up on me. He first lies and says oh I thought you hung up on me and when I said you didn't even let me get a question put he says well oh then I'm sorry we were disconnected but he clearly hung up on me. I said see this is why I can't come to this location and Melvin proceeded to hang up on me again. So after being hung up on by Melvin twice I called a third time at which point Melvin put me on a 5 minute hold before I decided I'd hang up and try calling back. The 4th time I called no one picked up at all. So I'm sitting here with a flat tire less than 2 weeks from the date it was replaced and can't even get anyone on the phone because Melvin thinks it's okay to keep hanging up on customers. I'm disgusted with Big O tire and will not ever recommend anyone go to them. I legit want to cry right now because while fortunately I'm trapped at my house with a flat tire but I shouldn't be stuck anywhere when I have a valid warranty and I just paid almost $100 for the tire less than 14 days ago. Melvin should be disciplined at the least but if he's treating all customers like this he really should be fired. This is in response to the person from the company who replied to my review. Your apology means nothing because right after you apologized you said "we would never hang up on you" however Melvin did... in fact he hung up twice so you can't apologize for something and then follow up the apology with invalidating what I did experience. Before I was connected to Melvin it said the call may be recorded for quality so maybe you should check the recordings and you will see that he he did indeed hang up on me twice and I was unable to get a conversation out of him until the 5th phone call at which point he still argued with me same as he did when I came into the store for my appointment. Melvin is a terrible employee and I stand by my comment he should be disciplined at the least and he really needs to be fired. This was the worst experience of my life. read more

We dropped off my car and less than 1.5 hours later he calls and says they patched it up free of charge. Having come off of a really bad rip off experience at a mechanic shop down the street, I was dreading going to get a tire patched today. Took my chances at this place, and I am SO GLAD I did. I was helped by a lovely gentleman named Chris D. He took the time to make small talk in which I mentioned I'm in the bar industry and how badly it was hit by COVID effects. He had my tire done within 30 min. When I got the phone call, my heart dropped because I was expecting the long list of suggestions that's typical of a car shop. No, he just casually mentioned my air filter needed to be changed and was NOT pushy about it. I got it done. September 25, around 0915, i went to this branch again, to have my tire inspected, tpms light is on, i was told to wait, 2 hours passed, i saw my truck still outside, asked this check in guy if im all set, to my surprise , they have not done anything yet! For 2 hours , they kept me waiting, i saw the technician outside, asked him how long will it take for the check up, he said "5 min", i was so disappointed with your guy, i dont know his name, no beard, brushed up hair, very inconsiderate, i will understand, if they are busy , but they should have told me, you gotta do something with your disrespecting employees, this is my second bad experience i got from this branch , since ANGEL got out from this branch. Avoid this place at all costs!! My Son had a nail in one of the tires on his jeep. It was close to the sidewall so they said they could not repair it. These are large off road tires so over $200 later for one tire we left. The next day I looked carefully at the tire and noticed it had been patched and was the original tire. They charged me for a new tire and then put the old one back on.... I went back and they finally apologized, said it was an accident, and ordered a new tire which I got several days later. I gave them the benefit of the doubt which was a big mistake... I received a coupon for an oil change from them recently and took my Honda in for an oil change and tire rotation. She came back, refused to rotate them, and said the front tires were dry rotted. She told me not to worry though as she had two in stock... These tires have a ton of tread left and there is no sign of dry rot. I refused, got the oil changed and tires inspected/rotated at another place with no issues. The new place also confirmed there was no dry rot... They are crooked as a 3 dollar bill at this store! read more

I went to this place one year ago and had all of my tires replaced, and felt well taken care of as a customer. I was greeted immediately, addressed as Mrs., and I felt that this was a respectable establishment. Today, I walked in and was not greeted by the employee at the front. I had to greet him to be acknowledged, even though the lobby was completely empty and there was nothing to distract him; that is not acceptable. While I was waiting for him to input data in the computer, I saw the paper describing all of the points that employees are supposed to complete such as "greeting a customer immediately, addressing them as Mr., Ms., or Mrs., etc.", and the employee who was working the front today did none of those. I was told that I need new rear tires, and upon inquiring how is that possible if I just replaced them one year ago was told that it's due to my car needing an alignment. When I stated that I had my car aligned, and asked why the warranty didn't cover this, I was told that "wear and tear" aren't covered. I think that if my alignment had been performed by this business that it would have been covered...and the employee seemed put out when I told him that I had my car aligned by a different business. The final pisser is that when I got back in my car it smelled disgusting like the worker farted all in it before turning the keys back in. That is dis-respectful and nasty and downright unacceptable. I am disappointed in my experience today, and will not be returning to this establishment. read more

went here to get an alignment and tires. was never told that their machine for alignment was down and that they couldnt do my truck. sent us to another store after they had our truck for 5 hrs. went for the alignment they said it will take an hour. come back they give the keys to my son and said your all good. went out to the truck and nothing was done. go back in and they say oh that truck yah we couldn't get it to work in our machine. go back to the original store to get a refund. go back to that store and they tell me okay we will refund you. oh sorry no it was a package deal. I said but you can't provide the service. well then pay us 400 more for the tires. they broke the sensor off rear tire and tell me it just fell off. Worse service ever by the end the lady said we are not welcomed there any more . Spent 1700 and got nothing resolved read more
