While I was waiting, I overheard a representative thoroughly explaining some inner wear and tear on another customer's tires. I realized I had similar wear on my old tires, but this wasn't pointed out or discussed with me when my car was serviced. I hope this was just an oversight and not a difference in communication. It didn't detract from the great work on my car, but I would have appreciated the same detailed explanation. I came in with my fiancé to get a flat tire repaired. Unfortunately, it couldn't be patched, so we had to purchase a new tire--again. We had actually just bought new tires here a few months ago. This visit, however, was extremely unprofessional. When I politely mentioned that I'd never been charged a certain fee at other shops, Jesus Flores became argumentative instead of simply explaining the policy. He even brought other team members into the conversation to back him up, which felt unnecessary and the worst experience! So now this has become my go-to place for oil change -- NOTE, however, you MUST to tell them to apply the $20 discount to EACH car you bring in or they may forget to do it. That made my Full Synthtic + Filter + tire rotation + detailed all-around check only $70 per car, which is far less than anyplace else I could find. For their complementary check-up they found a minor misalignment on one of my cars and took care of it at no charge, rather than wanting to sell me a full alignment. All other potential issues they just told me about, but none of them needed immediate action and they didn't try to get me to buy anything I didn't need. I have 2 cars so a friend met me when I dropped off the first one, then when it was ready I drove there in 2nd car and swapped the cars; and when the 2nd one was ready my friend gave me a ride back there. Went in for a flat repair, no appointment so had to wait a bit, but the staff kept me updated and informed me through the process. I was given the offer to leave my car and come back for it, but I chose to stay. They were professional and also noticed its been awhile since my last oil change so they recommended that I get one. I declined at the time but they did say that they take appointments, and that it would still be a wait it just means that my car is a priority when the next bay or work area (whatever its called) is opened. So yes it still means I am waiting but it means that my car would be worked on before someone who walked in at the same time as my appointment. Save yourself a lot of money and time and SKIP this place. I have had to bring in one of my vehicles 3x for the same issue that they continue to fail to fix. Then, in their final attempt, they gave me a quote for a valve replacement that was literally DOUBLE what 3 other repair shops quoted me. (What's worse is they tried to tell me they were giving me some sort of deal). I brought in my other vehicle to fix something else they had done improperly, and one of the men told me that this is just how old cars are. It was 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon and I just got a huge washer and nail stuck in my tire. All of the service shops and tire places were about to close. Great customer service and went over and beyond to help me. I had the delight opportunity to meet Joel today and setup an alignment for my 328i BMW. This was after shopping for places in the area. As I arrived Joel greeted me with satisfaction. I told him I had new tires out in yesterday and before coming here was looking at other shops and all were backed up and pricey. Joel said he would have me in and out in no time. After my car was done. I advised I might bring my other vehicle for tire service. Then Joel manager overheard and chimed into our conversation. He offered a few suggestions which I appreciate. I told him I usually shop at America's tires and Costco. He explained he can offer a better deal for new tires, alignment and any other recommendation that is needed and that the shop labor charge is competitive. My story: I've unfortunately had consistently bad experiences with this Big O Tires, which is disappointing because they're so close to me, and I really wanted things to work out. Last year, I took my car in because my tires were constantly deflating. I kept filling them with air, but it didn't help. They told me there was a needle in one of the tires and assured me they had fixed it. After waiting an hour, I picked up my car, but to my frustration, the tires were still deflating. Clearly, the issue wasn't resolved, and I was left feeling like nothing had actually been done. Determined to fix the problem, I decided to try another Big O Tires, even though it was far away in Foster City. That location was a completely different experience--the staff were so kind and thorough. They actually fixed my tires, and the technician went above and beyond by staying late so I could pick up my car after hours, knowing I had traveled a long way. It's unfortunate that this location is no longer open because their service was exceptional. Recently, I gave my local Big O Tires another chance for a simple oil change and tire rotation (B13 service). The base price was already high at $209, but then they started adding charges for brake lights and a long list of other things. By the end, the total was close to $1,000. I felt like I was being overcharged and pressured into unnecessary repairs. I ended up driving to another Big O Tires in Dublin, where my family goes, and they confirmed that while my brake lights needed fixing, the other services weren't really necessary. Sadly, I just don't trust this location anymore and feel like they're more interested in making money than providing honest service. Was told 1.5 hours to replace four tires. Took three hours. Left valve stem caps off two tires. They didn't reset the tire pressure monitor. I went back to have the reset the monitor/indicator on dash. They said they can't because the pressure monitor is broken. Ok, I said fix the one tie monitor. They said all four are broken. What? They all worked fine until Big O just replaced the old tires. Did they break them doing the installation of the new tires. How do all four pressure monitors break at the same time.
