The staff at American Tire Depot was very helpful, friendly and accommodating, and the service was very quick; I called them one day and my order was submitted that day, and my tires were received and installed the next without an appointment. The install was done in a timely manner while I waited and the waiting area was very clean, comfortable and well-stocked with water and coffee. I'm very appreciative of all the staff that worked on my vehicle but especially to Sebastian who was very helpful with finding the right tires for me and price matched my previous quote, and to the friendly big guy in the front with the long reddish blonde beard (sorry, didn't get your name but I think you know who you are! ) who resolved the misunderstanding with my appointment/non-appointment and was very patient and polite with me and all my questions and informed me of the discount for an alignment. I normally don't go to the first place I call without shopping around, but after the experience I had here I'm convinced I made the right choice and will definitely be going back when/if the need arises. read more

Shoutout to the BEST tire install experience I've ever had in my 25 years of driving. I got a flat tire (non-repairable) and I wanted a specific tire to match the other 3. And I needed it fast. After calling several tire shops, none would be able to have the tire ready and install it until days later. Then, my wonderful wife told me that she had called American Tire Depot and spoke with Rick. Rick mentioned that they'd be able to not only have the specific tire ready the next day but will be able to install it the same day. I received very helpful updates via text to let me know that the tire has been ordered as well as when the tire was ready to be installed. I entered the shop and was greeted by Sebastian, who was extremely polite and helpful. 45 minutes later, my brand new tire was mounted, balanced, and installed...for a price that was ridiculously affordable compared to other shops. I would give them zero stars if I could. Terrible experience and a complete waste of time. I made an appointment for a tire rotation and still had to wait two hours for a job that took them 10 minutes. I gave them a second chance and booked an appointment for a wheel alignment. When I arrived, they told me the mechanic wasn't there and asked me to reschedule. I came back for the rescheduled appointment, and unbelievably, they gave me the exact same excuse, no mechanic again! They have zero respect for their customers' schedules and. Found out I had a flat on a Saturday morning. Visited the website here and was able to schedule for 9:30am next day on a Sunday morning. I called American Tire Depot to get a quote on four Michelin tires for an upcoming road trip and spoke with Howard. He was very helpful, offering a competitive price comparable to Costco's plus a complimentary brake inspection. However, before ordering the tires, I decided to have my current tires checked first. When I came in, Howard thoroughly inspected all four tires, explained which ones were still good and which would likely need replacement after my trip, and did it all for free. I really appreciated his honesty and professionalism. Instead of trying to sell me tires I didn't need right away, he gave me straightforward advice and excellent customer service. These guys were amazing! I came in around 3pm or so on Monday with a flat tire delivered by tow truck. Unfortunately I didn't catch the name of the gentleman at the front desk but he told me if there was too much damage to my tire he would not be able to put it back on. I told him if that's the case I'll buy two tires. Knowing this, they did an inspection and still confirmed the tire was ok and fixed the hole in the tread and declined any payment. We're very frustrated with the lack of service we experienced. My husband booked an appointment with them for Wednesday, 7/16. At the time of booking, he was told they needed to order the tires and to call back the Monday prior to confirm availability. He called on Monday morning to confirm, and they assured him the tires would be there. However, when we arrived for our appointment today (Wednesday, 7/16), we were told the tires weren't available. It's incredibly frustrating that no one reached out to let us know by end of day Monday or at least Tuesday if the tires weren't going to arrive as promised. Now we're left scrambling to find another shop that can accommodate us last minute. We will not be returning here or recommending this business to anyone, due to the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disregard for our time. read more

Very nice customer service. I'm quite hesitant to visit auto repair shops as a women since I'm not familiar with car stuffs, but Ryan was so nice. Brought my own oil and filter for an oil change, turned out filter was the wrong type, they replaced it with their own. They also did a flat repair cause there was a nail. $30 labor fee for oil change, got a 100% discount for the filter (their price even cheaper than my store bought one), and no charge for flat repair. I've been going here for 5-6 years. They always fit me in so that I can get my car back to go to work. They understand that price matters. I feel that I get good advice on whether I can repair a tire or need new ones. They communicate very well - although today when I went to get my car I was informed the alignment wasn't done so I have to come back tomorrow . I have a 10 yr old MBZ C300. I'd much rather go here than to the dealer where you can't reach anyone and even with an appointment you wait for hours. Brought my car here for new rotors and brake pads because the reviews are good. 100% regret it. After 4 weeks my brakes were making a terrible scratching noise. I tried to call them and they kept putting me on hold. After waiting 20 mins I called again and same issue. After 5 unanswered calls I gave up and decided to come in the next day. Next day I show up at 8 am and nobody is there. I wait and someone opens the doors 10 minutes later. I drop off my car and explain the issue and they say they will call me. 4 PM comes around and I call to check in and they say my car has been done for hours. They just needed to readjust the pads. I come in to pick up the car and explain I'm concerned about the pads being uneven due to the scratching noise. They say just bring it in if that's the case and they will "take care of me". Now a few weeks later my car is making scratching noises again. I do not want to go back to this place. read more

This is a double barreled review. American Tire replaced my flat tire in December. I was very grateful because they were open on a Sunday. However, the tire never felt right and the car didn't feel steady. Today I took my car into a dealership for a routine service. They checked the tires and discovered that the one replaced by American Tire was the wrong size. It was too small. I drove to American Tire and they not only installed the correct size but also provided a free alignment. I had an alignment package with them, so I booked an appointment through the website for 2pm even though I was coming from Fremont. When I arrived at the shop, they said they cannot take my car today, asking me to come next day.
