Was out putting test mileage on a new motor installed in my friend's Wildfire Engine looping from Salem up Hwy 22 to Hwy 20 and back up I-5. Got hungry and was looking for something that sounded good. It was mid afternoon when we arrived and we timed it pretty well. There was a steady in and out of customers that kept the server busy. I could only wish we had such perfection in Salem![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself was fairly typical for a small town being an older established building. There was a nice large parking lot that easily accommodated the truck[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. We got lucky and came on a BBQ Day! I've had BBQ from many different places and the majority has been tough, stringy or dry. Not the case here. So far from it! As a starter we had hush puppies. I've never had them before and wanted to try them. They were tasty little cornbread balls. Nothing to compare to but they were good. Not dry. Our server kindly greeted us and mentioned they were out of GF buns and Texas Twinkies followed up with the specials. Good intel to make informed decisions! Service was not speedy. We both got the loaded baked potatoes. One was with brisket and the other had "hot to trot" which is a mix of brisket, smoked sausage and jalapenos. Potatoes are baked perfectly and piled with butter, sour cream and meaty goodness. I brought half of mine home. We also ordered a side of Mac & cheese with smoked sausage. Creamy cheesy and tasty chunks of tender juicy sausage. Remember when I said their meat was not stringy, tough, and dry like any of the other places? It really wasn't! It was super tender and juicy and each bite just fell apart it was so delicious! We were so lucky. They ran out of potatoes while we were there and I was lucky enough to get a pound of brisket to take home and of course I had to have some when I got home. It was so succulent and flavorful. I can't wait to have it. Those who are leaving poor reviews because you can't get in or order what you want because they are sold out, shame on you! I'm sorry for your pettiness because I could only wish we had such a fantastic restaurant! Oh and a word of advice. We really enjoy the food at Bigfoot grille today. I'm gluten free and was able to get the burger with a gluten free bun. Husband (not gf) was able to get the tater tots and liked them. They do not have a dedicated fryer for fries and tots but have other sides that are gluten free friendly. Our server was really nice and quick to help. First place I ate during my first stay in Lebanon. I was looking for a barbecue place, and big D's was the first on the list, but they're not at the address advertised anymore. Second one listed on Yelp is the big foot. Ordered upgrades on my two sides to salad bar and mac & cheese. I think I made excellent choices, the brisket was tasty, and you could cut it with a fork. The barbecue sauce suited my taste perfectly. It was nice to have a salad with my choice of fixings, and the mac & cheese with the smoked sausage was outrageous! The servers were very nice and welcoming, there was so much food I could barely finish, and the price was reasonable. I will return to the big foot! read more

The food was absolutely amazing, and we had very large portions of everything. This place has previously been hot or miss. They were either hot. Or not so hot. Recently new owners from a different local restaurant have taken over. And will not let it be mediocre. The hubby had a Pendelton burger with onion rings. He choked on the onion's outer skin, which had been fried. You never include the outer layer of an onion when making onion rings. Let me first start with I love a good burger. My Cascade burger with waygu beef was not good. It was f#(&!^@ INCREDIBLE! I split it with my lady friend, and I am glad we did because I would be pretty full and uncomfortable right now if i ate it all. Actually, both of us would be if we would have had our own burger! Went looking for a some dinner after moving a family member up to his new place in Lebanon and decided on this place based on other reviews. Definitely went in hoping that they weren't too busy because it looks like that's when things start to crumble. Luckily we walked in at 5ish on a Sunday night and there were about 3 other parties and maybe 3 people came in for Togo orders. The menu has quite a few options but everyone in my party went for burgers except me. You can upgrade to an elk burger for a couple bucks more. If you order tots or fries as your side you get a generous helping, onion rings on the other hand are not so generous. Everyone seemed satisfied with their burgers. I got a bbq chicken wrap, it was pretty good except that the tortilla was so dry that it tasted like it had been left uncovered in the fridge for a week or so. I took it off and just had my wrap as a salad. Customer service was great. They were very attentive to our table always made sure we had tour drinks full. They have lots of hard alcohol options but only 4 beers on tap so it would be cool to seem them have more of a selection in that department. Take it from a real southerner this is real BBQ. The BBQ is slow cooked and seasoned right. The sauces are solid and they have Sweet Tea. They were out of the pork which tells me I need to go back; so we tried the brisket, sausage, ribs, and the country style steak. All were very good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Best Burger I have eaten in years. Period. My family wanted to celebrate National Cheeseburger day in style. We drove down to Lebanon and tried the Bigfoot Grille. We had the Phantom, Lochness, and the Phoenix burgers. All of them were huge and had left overs to take home. The service was quick and friendly. The burgers were hot and juicy. The whole meal was a pleasure. I would recommend this place and even be willing to drive from Salem to get lunch. read more

Super disappointing. Stopped by for dinner and ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer which were just fine and as expected. We also ordered two burgers with tots, because they were unfortunately out of both kinds of fries, and the burgers were hardly edible. We couldn't finish them and left hungry. The meat was tasteless and unseasoned, weirdly textured, and cold. They also didn't give me cheese on mine and randomly added avocado... it was just weird. They were big, I couldn't finish my burger! I'm not a huge meat fan and I prefer thin patties, if you're like me you might find these burgers a little too much but worth a try. The fries are amazing! They are coated in seasoned batter, not those crinkle cut fries or steak fries yuck. The tots were cajan and I liked the fact you could order garlic, regular or cajan. We came in for dinner around six and only had a half an hour wait, unfortunately the pandemic has made it hard for them to keep stocked of their dinner entrees at the time. This round I decided to try an elk patty on a new burger combo, the Kraken. During the pandemic a decent burger is hard to find but this one tasted bomb and both of the fries were hot n fresh and packed w flavor. Excellent service but food was awful. I had a bacon, chicken, avocado wrap with tots. The tortilla for the wrap was stale & there was no sauce inside the wrap which made it extremely dry & inedible. There was more lettuce than anything else. My husband wouldn't even eat it after he picked at it for awhile. He said his cowboy hamburger was good there was no sauce on it & again, very dry. Well this was a disaster!! Walked in on a Friday at 6:50 not to busy and we were hungry. Sat down and server came over to take our order we asked for water and then we would order our drinks, 15 minutes later came back for our drink order all out of vodka, no biggie we ordered mojitos and also ordered our burgers. 40 minutes later no drinks no food, went to bar to cancel drinks since it had been taking so long and our server said the other server is about to make your drinks. I said ok then the other server who could make drinks said " well we will see if I get to them or not" I said no drinks. 15 minutes later our burgers came out. Ordered 1/4 burgers and they were no bigger than a slider and so over done it was barely edible! And fries were cold! Poor service poor food and to top it off they left the drinks on the bill! Extremely poor service .. the woman with the dark hair in a ponytail is very rude and can't seem to handle having people at multiple tables. When asked questions she was really rude and seemed to busy to answer and when we asked for ranch for appetizers that were ordered she threw it on the table.
