Extremely average food with premium prices. The food is very mediocre and the prices are unreasonable. You can have twice the serving at your local India Sweet & Spices or at Artesia. Everything lacks salt and spice, very bland. We got the Samosa Chaat and the kachori. The daal inside the kachori was stale and left a bad after taste. Two small samosa's were for $6, you can get bigger samosas for less price. Samosa chaat for $10 was nothing but bad. I was really disappointed. I was looking forward to this place opening but the prices and taste of food left me feeling very disappointed. Not many vegan options and probably one of the few Indian restaurants that can't veganize their vegetarian menu. The reason given was that the curries are premade, and they put butter/ghee on things that would have normally been vegan. That's not very good for a restaurant model for customers with allergies or varying spice tolerances. It took forever to get my food as well but I chalk that up to being a new space. Everything was great except my favorite Chhole Bhatura. It wasn't neither Chhole nor Bhatura. In stead it was Chana-Puri. Chhole, means those big chickpeas, not small black chana. Everyone knows the difference between Bhatura & Puri Also spoke to the franchise owner and told him about my concern. Mithai, particularly, Bengali sweets were amazing. Even Raj-Kachori, slightly smaller than we get in back home, was good that day(!) They goof-up on bringing the food to the right table. After payment they should give that holder with table number, like many restaurants they do. I been to this restaurant many times, the food is sumptuous , once you taste the food , you will go back there again and again , service is excellent , the employees are caring , well behaved and very polite and courteous , the price is also very very reasonable , Very clean restrooms , very clean dining area .They do have catering service also available. I believe their cook has an excellent training , he or she makes very de,licious every dish of the menu . Tried Bikanervala for the first time and I'm officially hooked. I had the chole bhature--the flavors were incredible, and the bread was perfectly fluffy. Easily one of the best things I've eaten in a while. I also ordered a masala chai, and it was spiced just right. The place itself is super clean and beautifully decorated--bright, inviting, and clearly well cared for. As someone new to traditional vegetarian Indian food, this was an amazing intro. The food was delicious! This place just opened in diamond bar. I have had it twice already! The Vada Pav is spicy, but has a ton of flavor. The matar kulcha is on the lighter side, and my favorite dish pictured below is the samosa Chaat, which is said to be one of their specialties. For a fast food indian restaurant the service is very friendly and welcoming. It feels like eating authentic Indian dishes. Ok, so I came in with a lot of high expectations as far as food is concerned!! We got choley bathura, Raj kachori, and paneer platter.The bhatura was only good till it was hot but it also dried like a papad. Rajkachori was average. I've had better luck in Artesia Market. Now Paneer was soooo soft, it's taste was good... but the after taste was not too good. It felt as good t was fake paneer.... Not sure if I'll come back. Service was definitely good. read more

The chaats are stellar. Just like they are made in India. The chole bhature are also very popular. The chole are dark in color as they are meant to be likely by adding tea leaves. The chai was a huge disappointment. It was basically just boiled water. That is why i took one star off. Have not tried the sweets yet. Maybe next time. Service is inefficient. I think they should give placards and placard holders so servers can easily locate the tables where the orders need to go instead of walking around screaming order numbers. The seating is more like a mess, they should work in eat to create cozy corners for people to eat in privacy. read more

Bikanerwala is a famous franchise all over India and I've greatly enjoyed their food in India. I was excited to try this new location and was grossly disappointed. All the food we had clearly was not fresh. Came out of Frozen or boxed food. Except for the chaat, nothing seems fresh. Bikanerwala is also famous for their packaged foods that are available in many Indian grocery stores. Looks like this location simply opens boxes and warms them up. What a waste! As soon as I entered I was reminded of the Bikanervala I visited during a business trip to India. The ambiance and food were exactly as I remembered them. I've gone back more than a few times and have enjoyed everything I've tried at this location and their service is excellent. One of my go to favorites when I'm on the go is the Paneer Kathi Roll. Check your receipts! I was charged for something that I did not receive. They charged me for an extra plate of momos, which I did not order, and then they did not even make it and send it out to us. I went to the counter to order several different things my group wanted to try. When I was told the total for the order I thought it was a little too expensive but because we had a bigger order, I thought it must be OK. I trusted the restaurant thinking they wouldn't have made a mistake because the guy behind the counter clarified my order. We got all the items which I thought I ordered and then we left. Later that day, I checked my receipt to see that they had charged me for an extra plate of momos which I had not ordered. It would have been fine if they brought that extra plate out for us but they didn't even do that! They knew very well that they had charged us for the extra plate and still did not bring it out. If you go here make sure you check your receipt after you order and keep track to make sure they are fulfilling your order properly. The food was good but this service has turned me off! read more

Great selection of north Indian chat items. After trying 2-3 chat items , found all of them to be of similar taste because of excess of very thick, super sweet dahi. Chole were average no where close to Delhi taste. Bhaturae by itself were pretty good though. read more
