    My breakfast

I have always heard about scrapple, but I don't know that they sell it anywhere in Nashville where I'm from. I was on the hunt for breakfast and I always love a good diner - and when they had scrapple on the menu I had to try it - and I was NOT disappointed! The eggs and toast were great - and the breakfast potatoes (the suggestion of the cashier) were perfectly cooked! Everything was quick to arrive and it was pretty busy for a Monday morning. I will be back for the scrapple and those great breakfast potatoes!

If you live or work in the Center City area and aren't frequenting Bill's, you are missing out! Bill's is a quick and easy breakfast / lunch spot with a wide variety of options, that they are always happy to personalize. My favorite is the Chicken Caesar panini. Whether you order inside or call for take out, their team is quick and the food is always hot and fresh. It's usually loud and busy during lunch time, but if that isn't a problem for you, they have a few tables to enjoy your meal at. Price is a littttleeee steep, but nothing crazy given its location, connivence and overall quality of food.

Hey friends! I did a Yelp search of breakfast spots near my hotel and Bill's came highly recommended. This is a seven minute walk from the Cambria Hotel We unfortunately arrived after their breakfast hours ended. Breakfast ends at 11:00am. But, fortunately egg sandwiches are under their lunch menu. I ordered a simple egg and cheese bagel. The bagel was okay, I would have preferred if the bagel was toasted more and if the egg was cooked harder. -Customer service was amazing. It was nice to see the employees relationship with the regulars. It was also nice to see how well they managed the lunch rush. -Their prices are very affordable. -It's inside of an office building on the first floor. I definitely would return to try their breakfast menu. Enjoy! With love, The Picky Pescatarian

Food: my Philly cheesesteak with a side of onion rings were yummy! Service: quick. You order at the cashier. Definitely have your order ready before going up. Ambiance: fast casual, American style decor. You can see the grill: Not many tables.

    Egg and Steak Sandwich

Hey the good was good. Got an egg cheese steak breakfast sandwich on a long roll. I got two sandwiches because I didn't know what to expect. Two was way too many. Could have probably just got a half and been satisfied. Took about 5 minutes at most from order to delivery. There's one thing though. The sandwich was $6.50. They have a 50¢ egg surcharge so it must have 5 eggs so it $9 each. Wish I had known that. So just be prepared to spend a little more than expected from menu prices. Huge menu. Would go back for a single sandwich

Food was good and priced reasonably. Staff friendly and service was quick. Parking was bad though, couldn't find anything close by. Ended up just parking across the street where it said Truck loading/unloading only and went in to grab the order. This appears to be what most people are doing too. Restroom is down the hall, take the elevator down to the basement, and to your left. You can get the code from the security guard on the first floor.

Small seating area (that door leads to eggs kitchen), but there's a long bench on the left & several 2-tops.

Let's start with the obvious: the ambiance here is straight up greasy spoon takeout. But, walk in and the place is BUSY with lots of folks who are clearly regulars. There is a menu of all the breakfast & lunch options you'd expect, served in styrofoam containers with plastic cutlery. AND, the several people behind the counted are friendly, quick, and helpful if you have questions. I asked for a glass of water & got a styrofoam cup of it; I expected they'd point me to the cooler case to pay for a bottle, but nope. Nice! I had a small (weak) coffee with half & half in little containers I added myself, and a spinach and cheese omelet, rye toast, and potatoes (though now I'm sorry I didn't order the grits, just to try them). The omelet was excellent - lots of both spinach and cheese, adequate salt; not greasy at all. Toast was nicely browned and appropriately buttered which for me means not too little/not too much. The potatoes were nicely cut, had good flavor, and to me could have used 30 seconds to a minute more cook time since only some were that perfect deep brown color. Prices were good, and no one bugged me when I sat a bit after I finished eating, so I could finish the chapter of my book. I'd come back!

    Sausage egg and cheese

Excellent, personal service, true taste of Philadelphia. Very crowded, very popular, everyone seemingly on a first name basis. Great breakfast sandwiches and a surprisingly great tuna melt sandwich on toasted, buttered bread. Great little spot for a quick breakfast and vibes to start your day right!

A joint. Straight up. Enjoy. This is why you live in the city: walk a few blocks, go to a counter and get diner food in a styrofoam container with sassy-and-no-nonsense gals running the register. While there was a big menu of various eggs, it seemed like breakfast sandwiches were the deal. I had sausage, egg, and cheese on a long roll - roll was good, cheese was gooey, a s eggs were good ... but it was just sausage patties slipped in there. Why not have some ground sausage ready, mix it into the eggs, top with cheese and roll? Seems like a miss, but for $6 I guess I should keep my trap shut. I'll be back next visit to Philly when I want a quick, authentic breakfast without pomp or circumstance but made by good people doing what they do.

After going to 4 breakfast spots nd surveying 5 people looking for grits I found theee Spot. Now listen, you would have never known this spot holds a one stop shop breakfast spot with GRITS and she gonna put that cheese on them all too. I'm so excited . The ladies at the front counter are very sweet and kind and very attentive to my needs. They suggest things and everything. There's everything here just about. The grits- were everything right!! Nice good and creamy! The texture was so warmth for me. Especially sonce it was so cold outside today. I didnt even need salt. Then the meat selection is really amazing. I was blown away by the types they offer. I got eggs 2 meats grits and toast for under 15 bucks!!!

Not tough but a nice, soft seeded sub roll. Seeing it arrive was a little overwhelming but I kinda thought the thing was light and was easy to finish off 1/2. The Fig and Pig - the fig jam was outstanding. Great sweetness with the saltiness from the prosciutto and then to top it off, the crunch of the cutlets. Excellent. As I was leaving, I saw a cutlet, with mutz, broccoli rabe, and roasted red peppers. I WILL be back for that. That looked amazing. Service was very friendly, prompt. We sat down and within a few minutes, our sandwiches came out. Looks like they were working on takeout / delivery orders and I thought, oh crap, am i behind all of that. But I guess they were either done or they prioritize the tables. Place was small but at 2:30 or so, it had a couple of tables open. They had tables outside but a little warm and in the sun for that. Well done, Liberty Kitchen!

Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Cost to worth it rating: 3 Opentableable: no reservations Return worthiness: yes! Eve awards best cheesesteak of my life--still thinking about it Highlights: - The bread: a soft long roll with sesame seeds was a delight I didn't see coming. - Meat: was lightly seasoned but kept its pure flavor. Most cheesesteaks have such bland meat so this did it right - Cheese: melty coopers cheese was perfectly mixed in. - Onions: just the right soloing if grilled onions mixed in to complement the meat but not overwhelm it. - Size: monstrous! You can easily share (but you may not want to). - Fairly efficient: even with long lines, put your phone number in the kiosk, can pay with credit card, and wait til you are texted to pick it up. - For the whole family: my cranky teen son said it's the best thing he ate on our 23 day summer East Coast trip (including lots of great dining spots around Philly and NYC). Lowlights: - Waits can be long and brutal in heat. We got lucky with a shorter line. - No seating: just an ordering counter inside so many are eating out on the sidewalk.

I recently had a couple of great lunches here. I found parking along Wolf Street with no problem…read more The inside was clean and the staff was friendly. They serve you fresh waster (Drinks to order include Hanks, Boylan's, Harney and Sons, Teas etc.) and will serve you at the table or you can walk up and order at the counter. Their menu has a great mix of deli, steak, "chicken" steak, meatball, sausage and cutlet sandwiches with interesting flavor combos. You can also get breakfast (till 11AM) or a salad. They also have sides that include - tots, fried pickle chips, onion rings, fries, fried mozzarella and Zayda's pickle spears, chips and cherry pepper shooters. They have a couple of vegan options and GF rolls for extra $$. The staff was more than happy to give recommendations and their favs. My first lunch was The Eye - $15 Ribeye steak, Cooper Sharp American, fried onions came on a seeded Liscio's roll. If you enjoy the somewhat newer Cooper sharp style that's out there you'll like theirs. The Cooper sharp was gooey, mixed in well with the meat and on the heavier side. The ribeye was thin cut, delicious and the portion was pretty hefty. Second visit I went with - The Nad - $15 Chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula, Mike's Hot Honey that came on an unseeded Liscio's roll. The portion size was good, chicken was fresh with good breading, the hot honey was a tad on the heavy side, but the flavors all came together pretty good on this one. Sweet, salty, light bitterness from the arugula and some heat from the hot honey. I added Thin Cut Idaho fries to make it a combo for $3 extra and I have to say they were delicious. They smelled like McD's and tasted similar. They are cash only, but have an ATM on site. You can use a card if you order online. The one bathroom they have was pretty clean and organized. I will certainly stop back for a visit if I'm in the area to try out more of their menu. Thanks guys!

This is far from the traditional banh mi, not so much due to the meat choice but the fact that the vegetables take a back seat. This is also a soft hoagie style bread instead of the crusty French bread that usually houses a banh mi. Still an enjoyable sandwich nonetheless.
