This place is fantastic - right up there with the pizza we had in Italy! Better than most of the pizza we had in Italy actually. What sets this place apart is the sourdough crust. The flavor is delicious and definitely makes it a stand-out among other pizza places. All of the toppings are super fresh. We ordered The Comeback pizza, Chicken Alfredo, and a half cheese/half pepperoni. We come here for lunch at least once every time we're in Palm Desert. read more

No stars would be appropriate. Came in a week ago and had a couple really good salads for lunch and thought we would drop in again Andrew have them again....that was a horrible idea! First we could not get waited on and had to get our own menus, then waited for someone to even take our order...that didn't happen, so went inside to place our order and he said he didn't see us (walked by us outside!) he took our oder finally. Ordered 2 HALF Antipasto salads and when they cam out, oh my, they were NOT even close to the ones we had last week! They used horrible huge pieces of burger leafy lettuce and almost NO meat or cheese at all! Uncut large hunks of peppers and onions too. Worst salads ever. Then we just wanted to be done and our server offered to comp them which was nice BUT we instead to pay, as expensive to operate places like this...So we paid our bill and realized the DOUBLE charged us! My husband and I recently ate at Bill's Pizza. This restaurant came highly recommended by other yelp reviewers and since we werevisiting in the area on vacation, and were hungry for pizza, we thought we'd give it a go. Once there, we ordered a large salad and a pizza. The salad was big enough to split and we appreciated that they were not stingy with the salad dressing. The crust on the pizza was absolutely perfect. The toppings were robust and the taste was amazing. Overall, the pizza was cooked perfection! The service was top notch and the staff was super friendly. We definitely will be back for more pizza on future visits! A big shout out to these folks and their absolutely yummy pizza! read more

I sometimes call ahead and order a couple slices to go on my way home from working a 12 hour shift. Perfectly hot, cripsy pizza, delicious toppings and the ratio of sauce/cheese/crust is simply 5 stars. Service is always on point, price is right. We really loved our pizzas! The place is very casual, and clean. The servers have their own stations apparently; our server was nice but slow. Not a big deal. The pizza was delicious, it was cooked well. It was a good neutral ground, not too doughy and not too thin. It was a little pricy to us since it was $15 for a 10" pizza. The environment felt recognizable. We liked the paintings on the wall and thought it would be cool to have. There were a lot of holes on the walls, a bit dusty. Just think it should be fixed up a bit, like with new flooring. Both the door to the bathroom and the stall door itself swung weirdly to me and I ended up walking into them. Very friendly staff... although maybe a little too friendly. We were the only table to really have multiple conversations with the server about other things aside from checking in with us. It's okay, he was good at his job. It was just a slight invasion of personal space. A must stop every time I'm around the area. We first came here 2020. My whole party. (4 families. 16 people. 8 adults and 8 kids.) I remember every family agreed how good the pizza was. Special mention was the comeback. All the adults craved it. We have a running joke about driving 2 hours (we live in Burbank) to go to Palm Desert for this pizza. First off the pizzas are amazing. My favorites are Comeback which is a combination of sweet and savory. Honey and bacon. The ricotta and Asiago cheese blends the whole pizza so it goes down so smooth. It melts all the flavors toward so well. Second favorite pizza is the works and the Charlie Sheen. I've always been a fan of combination pizzas and of course they do theirs very well. I'm also a fan of meat lover pizzas, and that's what the Charlie sheen is. Most meat lover pizzas are too salty, but this one isn't. we also ordered a cheese pizza and the chicken barbecue pizza for the kids and I got to try both. Although I wouldn't order those over the comeback, the works, or Sheen. They were still pretty dang good. This Bill's Pizza gives you that very old-school vibe. But everything is well maintained. Although it has that classic look. Nothing looks like it's worn down or aged. Overall, I love this place. Like I mentioned above every time we pass through and are in the Palm Desert or Palm Springs we have to come and get the comeback. read more

I love how you can get half of a specialty pizza on one side and half of another specialty on the other side. We got an 18 inch Bill's Favorite and the Charlie Sheen. Both come with a lot of neat toppings but Bill's has inions and a pizza sauce and I preferred it slightly over Charlie's. The Caesar salad, which comes with a TON of fresh parmesan shavings, is great, too. This is really delicious pizza. read more
