I've gotten their food brought to me before. Top notch! Everything was flavorful and worth the money you pay. Went in to eat before a football game. I don't know that I would go back. Most of the tables are long and narrow and high. I'm a big guy. Big guys on high stools don't go well together. They aren't comfortable and I'm always having to wonder if they will hold my weight. Service was quick. We ordered a fried mozzarella appetizer. It was ...interesting. I don't think it was really fried. It had a crunchiness, but the mouthfeel was all wrong. The cheese inside was kinda mealy. Maybe it was air fried? It didn't taste good. My meatball sandwich, however, was pretty darn good. Super busy. Tight quarters. If they move to a bigger location and have more low top tables, I'd go back. For now, I'll stick to carry out. read more

NO MASKS ON STAFF ON 1/3/2021. I have eaten Billy Q food (almost always to go) dozens of times. The quality is hit and miss, but more often than not it's good. I like their pizza, but it's not for everyone. I also like that their a Chicago-friendly business which offers green olives. Several of their sandwiches are excellent. Don't order the pasta unless it's for kids. I love the Macaroni salad. Now that that's out of the way... My husband picked up food last night and said the following, "The place was packed [inside], not one employee was wearing a mask." Whatever your personal politics are, there is a law in place that masks are required indoors in California until January 15. This is a health hazard. Oh -- I might not have said anything on Yelp except the "Masks Required" attribute is selected. read more

Not a good recommendation. Very disappointed with service and quality of pizza. Pepperoni was over cooked as well pizza itself. The beer order was forgotten...I had to remind them when they brought the order. Which is never good because then you feel rushed to finish your drink while eating. Last but not least, the leftover packaging was unacceptable. They pile the pieces on top of each other in a to-go box that didn't fit the contents. Their excuse is they don't want to waste the good boxes on leftovers. Perhaps you should brainstorm better alternatives. Such as foil in to go paper sleeve bags? Really enjoyed this place and received great service both times we went. We ordered the cheese sticks, which were in my opinion two thumbs up. The marinara it came with wasn't too overpowering. The first time we got the works on sourdough dough. Yummy delicious. It was oozing topping and that dough. Airy and crispy delicious. The second time we came we ordered the Mexican pizza which was just okay. It was fun to try but not something I'd order again. The Iced tea must be made in house because it tasted normal the first time but über lemony the second time. No skin off my nose. My husband survived on water. I should add that this is very football oriented place. People come to watch and comment on the plays, even the kitchen, but it was also family friendly. OK - Average Pizza Joint Ordered a large meat lovers pizza and two side salads. The food was ready when promised and easy to pickup. The pizza was OK, generous meat but the crust and cheese were thin and not especially noteworthy. Side salads, however, were quite large and full of fresh, tasty greens. The pizza was on the salty side but likely due to the ingredients so not too surprising. Not sure I'd go back as there were many other choices in the area for dining. read more

Hands down one of the BEST Meatball sandwiches around,... in the state of California. The bread is truly amazing, nice crunch on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The meatballs and sauce were delicious! If I was staying in Palm Desert another day I would be back the very next day. The antipasto salad was hearty and filling. First time here and Omgosh! Great find! My hubby and I each had pizza. He had the works on their regular crust and I had the jalapeño popper pizza on cauliflower crust. It was so delicious! Looked up their menu and found some delicious treats we wanted. I ordered a medium thin crust cheese pizza, a side order of their potato salad, a Greek salad, and my partner had some of their hot wings. The cheese pizza-- Delicious, the Greek salad was good, and their potato salad was ok. My partner enjoyed his hot wings. I think next time we will dine in to see how we like the places look.
