When I asked about placing an order I was told we needed to continue to wait for the waiter. He eventually came over and took our order. Great little spot for food. My wife and I were looking for a place to eat after a night of going out and gambling. We got seated immediately and got our orders taken. I was super hungry so I ordered Hot wings and a Burger with french fries. Hot wings was good and really hot and got a good portion to go along with it 10-12 pieces. Burger was cooked really good (Medium) and good amount of french fries. Service was good and waitress was always asking us if we needed anything. Funny thing, as we were getting ready to leave, a group sat next to us and one was claiming the best burger in the world. What world? I had the double burger with cheese. Mealy, mealy, mealy! This meat, I think, was ground at least 2 times until it was so fine that the mouth feel was like eating sawdust. I'm not exaggerating. Used to eat here quite often but not anymore. The service was very bad. It took along time before we got our server to get to our table. We had to ask the water person who our server was. He was a lot of help. And the food tasted horrible, but again trying to get the server back to our table was a chore. We spent more time in the restaurant than any other restaurant. While it had good flavors it looked like they skimped out by getting lower quality meat and defiantly could have loaded it up with more veggies and onions. The best thing we tried was they have a chicken breast that is like a side dish and it was so darn dood our table ordered another one since we were all sharing appetizers oh my it has such a great flavor and so tender I do believe it was some of the best chicken I have ever eaten you gotta go try it. I do have to say I love going downtown. One of the best places to experience old school is binions cafe. Super simple menu, I happened to order the spicy garlic infused wings. I was a little anxious to see how they tasted, and ti my surprise they were amazing. I was worried the garlic would be s little over powering, but they were just right. Our waiter James knew the small menu very well, and accommodated all of my families special requests. Quick and to the point service, everyone was friendly and wore a smile. Will return! read more

We had quick service with pretty good, basic club and cheeseburger, but there were several people that left from waiting forever for their food or never being talked to. GREAT BUGER and paid extra for the French Fries as I don't care for potato salad that much. Was well worth the extra...the French fries were equally as good....crunchy on outside like a coating, but wasn't a thick coating. Sat at the bar and waiter behind counter was very friendly, told me the story of he had worked there for 34years, one day they had accidentally ordered the wrong fries, everyone liked them so they kept ordering them. The hamburger was delicious, so fresh and the bread freshest ever. He also told me a local bakery delivers the buns daily and they are still warm when they get them. They were really putting out the food, saw a lot of ribs going out, will have to check them out next time....and will definitely come back for another burger. Next day before we left town I brought my friend with me and we split a burger and chicken strips which were also very good! Prices are also low and wait staff both times were very friendly. Anyways, I ordered a chicken fettuccine dish, which wasn't great, but wasn't that bad either! The garlic toast was great! The salad that came with the meal, was old looking, and the lettuce was warm & wilted. The wife ordered the Pot Roast Dinner...very poor choice on her behalf! The roast was dry. The sliced carrot's in the pot roast looked like sliced sausage piece's..they were so old & dried out looking!! The only thing that tasted decent, was the potatoes she said.
