We stopped here after hearing great things about the chicken! We ordered the chicken tenders, and they were delicious. Our server was very friendly, I forgot her name. Hedi I think. She was so sweet! But then the other waitress, Alicia... man was she VERY rude. I asked her for a straw and she was soooooo snotty. She was rude to the other customers as well, and they were complaining. I did tell the lady at the front how very rude Alicia was, but she didnt seem to care. Alicia is the reason for a 2 star instead of a 5 star, unfortunately. So I went in here and played, as I was playing I asked the cocktail waitress for a drink she said I will be back, I will take your order when you play so I put $50 bucks in the machine.. and was playing to begin with. It was late into the night or maybe early in the morning..i had to get more energy to play at the historic Binion's Poker room. i ordered the 2 egg breakfast,nothing fancy, all I wanted was a little picker upper and that certainly hit the spot. Block rockin' classic burgers, the beef is ground fresh on site and you can tell. Fries with the skin on, and refills coming at rapid fire pace made this 24 hour spot a hit. Also had a bite of the chili part of a chile cheese dog with some fries, made for some crispy gooey goodness. I would have no problem ordering the chili on it's own and maybe spiking it up with some hot sauce. I don't know if they offer chili cheese fries on the menu, if they don't, they should-yeah that good. Back to the burger...it's a whopping 1/2 pound of ground there- ground beef. Not only does that insure a fresh flavor, it also insures that you are not being fed "pink slime" (google it-nasty stuff) like most other burger places. Well they finally got their act together. Use to be really good then they remolded and the quality took a dump, but its back! Yes I put this place back at 5 stars, now honestly since the change I havent tried everything on the menu, but I can speak to the Philly Steak Sandwich, the Binion Burger and the soup and they all came roaring back to 5 star. Portions are very healthy and the hot sandwiches or burger are served with a side of potato salad or fries. Im a big fan of the potato salad, they put a homemade touch to it which make it very taste. Both the Philly steak or the burger taste like they are back to using fresh meat. If you are in downtown, looking for a quick bite for under 10 bucks you should give Binions Cafe a try. read more

Came in and its seat yourself. Entire area had empty seats but we were told we could not sit there. Employee was an asshole. I had them for dinner. The staff was friendly and the service was good but my 2 star rating is because my food was bland. I order a fried steak and got this patty with mushrooms and gravy with some fries. It wasn't what I expected. The patty was just so boring and dry. At least the gravy made it edible. The fries were good, crunchy and moist. The price was cheap so I kind of think I got what I paid for and that's why they got 2 stars instead of just one. won't ever be back here! after waiting to be seated, and they knew we had a service dog with us. one of the hostesses seated us, gave us an extra chair for our service pet, she is small, 15 lbs. while we we looking over the menus, a different "hostess" approached out table and said the dog had to be on the floor, not the chair, sanitary reasons. we have a pillow for her so she was not in contact with anything. we said, Again, she is a service pet and added she wasn't going to be on the floor under the table. this was the only place that had an issue with her sitting on a chair, every other place we went during our stay treated her like a customer, bringing her a bowl of water and talking to her! One of my co-workers said that this was one of her favorite places to eat....I'm not sure why. The service was not great. 24 hour cafe inside the Binion's casino. Service is slow even when it's late and there are barely any customers there. Food is decent and what you expect given the location and price. They give you plastic utensils and then never come back once you get your food, except to give you the bill. The thing I like about the cafe being in the middle of the casino is that people in your group can still go gamble while you're waiting for your food since there are a lot of machines located right in front of the tables. Great little spot for food. My wife and I were looking for a place to eat after a night of going out and gambling. We got seated immediately and got our orders taken. I was super hungry so I ordered Hot wings and a Burger with french fries. Hot wings was good and really hot and got a good portion to go along with it 10-12 pieces. Burger was cooked really good (Medium) and good amount of french fries. Service was good and waitress was always asking us if we needed anything.
