I got this girl here and I just love her and the owner is super friendly and won't answer any questions you have and really take the time

The owner of this place is super knowledgeable and super friendly and will take the time to answer anything and honestly, I got the chance to hang with her in the store with her own personal Birds and she does something right because those birds love her. I didn't even know birds could cuddle with their own the way they do with her.

Love my GCC that I got from here. Would like to get more babies from here. For now, I just go in and get supplies and visit all the birdies there. It's such a fun experience.

This place is amazing! we were in the area and was recommended this place. At first going in we had no clue if we could touch an pick up the animals. But you could and that was just amazing experience. All the animals are pretty tamed and pretty much chill. I would have loved to taken one home but I gotta save. If your in menifee i'd definitely check this bird place out!!

Photo number one. Taken on the way to Birds N Paradise.

If I could rate zero stars, i would. I purchased a cockatiel from here not knowing the poor baby was sick. She had a respiratory infection, (WHICH IS CONTAGIOUS TO OTHER BIRDS), and unfortunately passed away 2 weeks after taking her home. Lori, the store owner had made it clear to come to Birds N Paradise if there were ever to be an emergency. In the first picture, this is how my baby looked while rushing her to the store. In the second picture, this is how she looked after Lori fed her "medicated formula". Lori came across very disrespectful throughout the entire interaction while helping me. She didn't say hi, she didn't say "sorry this is happening", she didn't even say bye to me. She made me feel like I was an inconvenience. I was told to wait in my car with my bird, because the illness was presumed to be contagious. When Lori got to me, i handed her the carry cage that held my bird inside. She yoinked it from my hands and stuck her hand inside to feel my birds neck. She then stated that she would be back with "medicated formula" and "medicine" for me. When she came back, she did the same thing. Yoinked the cage from me, and grabbed my bird from inside with NO sense of calmness. It was aggressive! She proceeded to force, what seemed to be too much formula at a time down my birds throat. I could see and hear her spitting the food up. I recorded her feeding my bird FYI. Before she fed my bird, she was capable of moving her head slightly, along with moving in general. Afterwards, it was like she was completely paralyzed and she was so bloated looking, she couldn't move at all and was breathing extremely hard. Within the next 20 minutes, she passed away. Lori told me the formula would perk her up within 20 minutes. But nope, She died! I was so devastated. And what makes this whole situation even more disappointing is that all of the other birds that were within the same tub as mine in the store before i took her home, are definitely sick too. Birds don't show any signs of sickness like this until it's too late. They're very good at hiding it. In the end, I was offered only 50% off of another cockatiel as compensation. Just wow. With all of this being said, I would not recommend this store to ANYONE. Everything is dirty within the building. There is dust caked up on pretty much everything that you can purchase. The store is in a terrible area, lots of people steal from there. Not welcoming, friendly or safe feeling. Stay away. and if you do plan on purchasing a bird from here, take it to the vet as soon as you have a chance. Rest in peace to my poor girl. Also, this store keeps pretty much all of the birds in dirty fish tanks. Dirty water, barely any food. Its terrible!

I had a good experience , I took my 3 birds to get their beaks trimmed & wings. The owner was super informative & quick. Will definitely be bringing them back

Crazy facebook post following the incident where the own screamed at me over the phone. Her behavior was far from Jesus-like.

For approximately the past 3.5 years, I have trusted Vetco Clinics to provide vaccinations for my dog, Willy, a 7-pound Toy Poodle. During that time, I never experienced any issues with the vaccines or the services provided. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has significantly changed my opinion. On May 31, 2026, Willy received several vaccinations at a Vetco clinic. Shortly afterward, he became very ill. He stopped eating entirely, vomited multiple times, experienced several episodes of diarrhea--including one episode containing visible blood and dark red/black stool--and became noticeably lethargic and less playful than normal. There was even an episode where he appeared to choke or gasp for air while in the car. Prior to this visit, Willy had no history of vaccine reactions, no known drug allergies, had not traveled outside California, and had not consumed any new foods, treats, or human food. Due to the severity of his symptoms, I had to take Willy to an emergency veterinary hospital for evaluation and treatment. I provided Vetco with everything they requested, including complete emergency hospital chart notes and itemized invoices. Vetco advertises that reimbursement assistance may be available for care visits related to vaccinations performed at their clinics. However, despite submitting all requested documentation and the symptoms occurring shortly after the vaccinations, Petco only offered reimbursement for approximately half of the emergency veterinary bill. As a long-time customer, it was incredibly stressful watching my dog suffer while also dealing with a reimbursement process that did not meet my expectations. I found the customer service unsatisfactory and was disappointed by what I believe was a lack of commitment to fully supporting a loyal customer whose pet required emergency care following a Vetco vaccination visit. While I had many positive experiences with Vetco over the past several years, this experience has left me disappointed. Based on how this situation was handled, I would hesitate to recommend Vetco Clinics and encourage pet owners to carefully consider the level of support and reimbursement assistance they may receive if complications arise after vaccination.

I started bringing Ruby to AMCC in the spring of 2023. She had developed a wheeze and had been suffering hind leg pain since injuring her knee in 2021. Dr. Hymes diagnosed Ruby's wheeze as allergies and her hind leg pain as osteoarthritis. She suggested considering monthly shots of Librela for the arthritis. AMCC made it purposefully difficult to get medications from other sources. They wanted me to purchase Ruby's medications from them, as opposed to online pharmacies, at greatly inflated prices. All medications were at least 2-3 times more expensive than an online pet pharmacy. While they would eventually approve medications to be filled, it usually took them days to do so, and often required multiple calls to get the Rx filled. There was always a wait to be seen at AMCC, at least 45 minutes to an hour after our appointment time. I started Ruby on Librela injections in November 2024. The injection took seconds to administer. At one of Ruby's appointments for just her injection, we waited for 3 hours from our appointment time for her to receive her shot. Whenever I called the office, a 15 minute hold time was the norm, lasting up to 20 minutes sometimes. Librela has warnings from its manufacturer not to be given to dogs with neurological conditions. After 6 months of Librela shots, Ruby's breathing went into crisis after an injection in April. Dr. Hymes finally correctly diagnosed Ruby with laryngeal paralysis (a neurological condition that affects the larynx and often, the hind legs (GOLPP)) after misdiagnosing her for 2 years. I researched and felt that a laryngeal stent would be the least invasive solution for Ruby. A vet in Texas, Dr. Garner, specializes in this procedure and was very helpful in giving information to Dr. Hymes. Having not performed this treatment before, she nevertheless felt confident in her ability to place the stent and agreed to perform the procedure in July 2025. She ordered the wrong size of stents from the medical supply company, despite instructions from Dr. Garner's office on how to order the appropriate size. The first attempt at the procedure resulted in the placement of a very undersized stent. It took an entire week for AMCC just to place the order for the right stents. They initially tried to charge me for both sets but I objected and they relented. The day of the second stent placement, I took Ruby in at 8am. After hearing nothing from AMCC all day, I got a call shortly before closing, asking me if Ruby's procedure could be performed the next day. She'd spent all day at the clinic and nothing had been done. Frustrated, I insisted that it be performed that evening. Ruby was still not seen until 8pm, a full 12 hours after I'd dropped her off. At one point during the procedure, I overheard Dr. Hymes say that if it didn't work again, "He can go to Texas and get it done there." The procedure only took around 2 hours, and we left at 11. I felt bad for the staff's long day, but I was also frustrated with them for having neglected Ruby all day, particularly after all the other mistakes made up to that point. But Ruby was finally breathing normally again for the first time in 2 years, and I was relieved. The next day was Ruby's last day. She coughed the stent out around noon. Immediately, her breathing was labored, and I let AMCC know that the procedure did not work once again. They said it'd be too difficult to replace the stent that day and to wait until Monday (they are closed on weekends) and they would try a 3rd attempt. Ruby's breathing was at first not markedly worse than it had been during previous breathing crises, so I thought that she'd be OK with the drugs we were given to keep her calm until Monday. Throughout that day and night, it became increasingly difficult for Ruby to breathe. I took her to an emergency vet in the middle of the night but she started shutting down, turning blue, and losing control of her bodily functions and I had to euthanize her later that morning. Ruby's last day was full of pain and fear. I will probably second-guess the decisions I made for Ruby forever, including taking her to AMCC in the first place. I can't help but think that she'd still be here if I'd taken her to a different vet 3 years ago, who would've correctly diagnosed her and treated her effectively. Ruby deserved better care than she got at AMCC. At some point, I will get another dog and bring it to a veterinary clinic for its care...but it will not be the Animal Medical Center of Corona.
