    Strawberry julep and cider

Came here for lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon. Got lucky and was able to park in their lot. Not many spaces so it's good when you get one. Sat at the bar. Tables were open but they told us a 20 min wait so we sat at bar which is fine. Got a menu and it's Geraci's pizza. I grew up on a Geraci's pizza so that's great! They also had lots of apps, burgers, subs and such. I don't think you can go wrong. We got the Geraci's salad bowl and a large veggie deluxe. The salad bowl was not quite the same as the one I am used to. But it was OK. A bit smaller for the price. The pizza was the same . Tasted like old times and was good. They did not skimp on the toppings! I got the cider it was dry but not horrible. They have some IPA's not a big fan of IPA's. And other options. My partner got the strawberry julep. It was good she enjoyed. The bartender was nice and helpful. He was a good server too. Food came out within 10 mins. Sitting at the bar was good. The place is super cool. They have painted walls and the one end is all brewery and they have seating upstairs. Windows are stained glass. Cool space. We will be back.

Was in the neighborhood decided to give it a try. Thankfully wasn't busy as normal? But was still limited parking wise and there was a small wait when checking in. After trying to order a beer from the bar which was pretty hard. They really need to separate a seat section for bar orders. Was lucky enough to get two seats at the bar. The place was about 1/2 full and pretty loud. Tried the C2B IPA which the wife liked. I did the Basement Jacuzzi IPA and then sampled the Zen Arcade which I couldn't do. But maybe if I'd done in reverse would've been okay with. We then ordered small Honey Pie which was fantastic. Was interesting to see a Geraci's attached to this place. The pizza was the right amount for the wife and I with our beers. Will be back. Suggest anyone else looking for a new brewery to check out to check this place out.

I came in on a Saturday a few weeks after Birdtown opened. It was very crowded, but we had made reservations. It is a really cool building and their patio also looks really nice. It was so loud in there though that it was sort of difficult to have conversations with people at your table. I'd like to go back on a weeknight when it might be a little quieter. I had one of their hazy IPAs and it was fine. I didn't try any of the food, but the menu had quite a few options. I do wish there were more beers to pick from and maybe more fun flavors. I think Birdtown is a nice addition to Lakewood and I hope that they work out some of their starting kinks.

Went to Birdtown Brewing on Friday night and it was pakced! It is a loud venue that has an energizing atmosphere. Seating on the main level, a upper balcony, and the basement. The basement also has some games (pinball, bowling, pac man, etc.). My group had some mixed reviews on the food, but overall it was food. The buffalo chicken pizza's toppings were light, the stuffed mushrooms were dry, and the burger was just ok. The artichoke appetizer, pretzel bites, ceasear salad, and meat lovers pizza were delicious. I'd go again - now I just know what I wouldn't order again! Their beers were good - we tried a couple of their handles. Our service was good too, for how busy they were everything came out in a timely manner.

What an awesome experience! Great brews, awesome food and such a fun staff. This is the perfect occasion for a date night out, or a fun stop on your bar crawl. I would recommend a reservation for this highly sought after location, but it's definitely worth the pre planning. Make sure you start with a cheesy app, and get a fabulous pizza for your main. Cannot go wrong with what you order!

This was my first time as a local at the Birdtown Brewing. Bobby the manager took amazing care of us from start to finish! They are super lucky to have such a hands on manager like him! The service at the bar was great and the food was 10/10 best chicken wings and pizza in town! Service was 10/10 everyone was very attentive.I was so excited for another local brewery that can be a home away from home, and this is the spot. Definitely will be back! The atmosphere was beautiful inside and out! Love love love ! Congrats on the beautiful space!!!

I was wary to try this place out so soon after opening, but they have their act together. Set in an old church, it is large and airy. There are three levels and you can sit in the choir area for a little more privacy. Cute little patio too if you'd like to be outside. Large bar if that's where you like to sit. I tried their signature IPA and it was delish. It is key they have hooked up with Geraci's, because the food menu is fabulous. However, none of that would matter if the service wasn't fabulous. They put together a great crew and Saturday craziness was handled professionally and efficiently. One more thing: great restrooms!

Went for lunch. I had the Mediterranean Burger. It was overcooked. French fries were nothing special. Service was good. They only serve Pepsi products. Had an ice tea. They have a patio. Street parking. It was very loud. Restroom was clean. Prices were ok. Would only go back if friends wanted to go.

Around 5:45p the entire place was full. We were able to park in the back lot they share with a coffee shop next door. The lot is not huge so if it is busy you would likely have to park on the street. Eugene is name of the kitchen. They have a limited menu, but what they make is very good. We ordered at the window and took a number to our table. The service was quick and staff were friendly. While we water for food it was the perfect time to decide what we were going to drink. They were offering a hybrid cider/IPA made with Koji and in conjunction with Larder. It was so refreshing. I would definitely order it again. The space is rustic as described and spacious. There is a party room and patio. I am looking forward to visiting the BottleHouse in Cleveland Heights.

My…read morefriend and I visit our respective BottleHouse locations - she's a regular at the West Side location, I sometimes visit the East Side location. We just spontaneously attended book swap at Lakewood BottleHouse. It was my first visit to BottleHouse out West. AMBIANCE: The ambiance simultaneously caters to various guests. It's refreshing to see this at the brewery. There's a large wooden bar perfect for guys' nights. Secluded room with twinkling bottles descending from the ceiling that's ideal for celebrations. Enclosed patio for friends' get togethers. Large open space for groups and events. More dim area for intimate dates. I personally found the dim area to be too dim for my eyes. I love that one can go to this mead hall, and experience a different setting every single time. FOOD/DRINKS: BottleHouse Lakewood has a kitchen as opposed to the East Side's food partnerships/pop-ups. We didn't order food but the book swappers were raving about their fries. My friend and I were most interested in our BottleHouse favorite - mead. I tasted their sweeter meads before and loved them. I ordered Metropolis mead this time (highly recommended by the bartender). My mead was the color of bold red wine. Metropolis was described as a semi-dry black currant apple mead with spices (clove and allspice). This mead wasn't my favorite, it was too acidic, bitter, and bold. For the pour size it wasn't worth over $12. I more gravitate toward golden and light meads. While I won't be sipping on Metropolis again, I look forward to checking out other meads here. If you're also a mead fan, find the list of their four meads in red on the chalkboard at the bar. SERVICE: Service was amicable. Most service was self-initiated at the bar. Drinks and food can be ordered at the bar. Your servers will find you by the number you will be provided. I look forward to visiting this location to taste other meads. Unlike other nearby businesses, this spot is open on Sundays late into the evening. It makes it an ideal low key hangout spot for Sunday spent with friends in trendy Lakewood.

We were seated right away but the dining room was very full and it took a little while for our server to make her way to our table. She was very friendly but obviously managing a lot of tables at once. By the time our server got to us we were ready to order. I tried the Shrimp and Grits, which were fantastic, flavorful and well spiced. The classic schnitzel dinner was also great, the breading was crisp and the meat was juicy. We also ordered the winter salad with salmon. Delicious! The schweinhaxe was what brought us here on a Sunday evening as my dad has been wanting to try it for a long time and there's limited availability. It is a slow smoked pork knuckle served with a side of apple bread pudding. My dad reported that the knuckle was tender and flavorful, smoked well and the bread pudding was the perfect compliment. All in all, all of our dinners were delicious and fresh. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu!
