This place is sooo good! I either get the mini tacos or quesabirria tacos. We typically go to the location on marbach and when checking the hours, I noticed they have a brick and mortar on the south side so we went there. The service was great and our food was delicious. It's an easy spot to miss being such a tiny building next to another tiny building sandwiched between bigger restaurants down SW Military Drive. I've been here several times and I still set my gps to find it. The menu is straightforward. You must always get an order of quesobirria. That cheesy taco with consome is the stuff of midnight cravings. The servings are very generous and even though I order it plus an order of trompo tacos I can never get to the trompo. I save it for later. Their aguas frescas are also delicious. They have more than the usual 3 offerings. It's more like 7 flavors. I tried the coconut the last time. It was good but too many chunky bits. At least you know it's fresh and not powder mix. I've also had lemonade and pineapple. My friends like the cucumber flavor but it can be extra sweet. The place is small but has decent indoor seating. The music, however, is blasting! You can't hear anything. We have to ask them to lower the volume. Even the waitress was like "Que??" A tiny yet comfortable place, that came across looking for torta and end up ordering, Mini tacos de bistec. First observation was the meat, most of the places now in days smash the meat so tiny you can hardly see a piece, garnished with the traditional cilantro and onion but with a touch of freshness cucumber and radish ! My son really wanted tacos & we've been wanting to try this place out. Walking in it's a pretty small place but it's so beautifully decorated! I absolutely love the vibe it gives. It also smells absolutely amazing. He had the bistec tacos and they were good. My son & I rate restaurants on how good their green salsa is, as it's our favorite. He rated it a 9 out of 10. Had been to this place before with the meat having good flavor and not being overpriced. Yet tonight was not the case. When did mini tacos start being $9.50 for 5?! And the worst part is the meat for both asada and al pastor had no flavor we had to add tons of salt, lime and salsa to make them edible(not be mention our salsa since they barely gave us any). Tortillas were hard and cold. Overall won't be back bc for $31.77 for 3 orders of crappy tacos. read more

If you are a taco connoisseur of any sort this is the spot. I am a sucker for taco trucks when I see one and it's lunch or dinner time. This restaurant is top notch for offering specialty tacos normally not seen on any taco truck or restaurant. Some very good examples of tacos not seen in everyday USA menus are tacos de "campechana", "labio", "ojo", and my favorite "suadero". These types of tacos are more "cultural" to certain types of Mexican regions but all under one roof. This will be my top recommendation for tacos in Texas and maybe the USA until I find better. read more

The one star is for the lemonade. Came through the drive thru on a slow Friday night, service was quick. Quesabirria, by nature is greasy, but these tacos were inedible... mind you, some grease does not deter me. The consume, the beef, all lacked flavor. Only reason we finished it was because the green salsa is amazing. The cheese in the tacos was obviously low-quality bagged cheese as it was rubbery and not melty. Besides the quesabirria, the trompo tacos had zero flavor, overwhelmingly greasy. Also got a hotdog, cheap overcooked weenie that sat under a warmer too long on a soggy bun. Save yourself the time and go to Birria Barrio down the street, more expensive but quality food. read more

Came her on a Sunday afternoon for some mini tacos. We ordered asada mini tacos, an asada burrito, and a pizzabirria. We also ordered 2 orders of the special beans. Everything was delicious!! The asada was perfectly seasoned and the mini tacos had white onion and plenty of cilantro. I will definitely be back for the quesabirrias and the tortas.
