    Sri Kanya Chicken Biryani/Bone

The biryani I ordered came with metal scrubber pieces , so we we had to throw the food away. Never will I try food from this place. I ordered via Uber Eats and the pics are added for reference. Questionable hygiene practices! Stay away!

The receipt indicates they knew all three dishes were meant to be made MILD. None of them were!

Order from here ONLY if you like spicy food with lots of chilis in it. The easiest way to get a low rating is to ignore your customers needs. And Biryani Bistro - Dublin certainly earned their two star rating. Which is a shame, because I really wanted to like this local establishment. I specifically asked for food to be made mild. And repeated it two more times to make sure it sunk in. The receipt indicates they did. Unfortunately, they ignored my request. The daal makhani was ridiculously spicy with an over abundance of red chili. The saag paneer was only a notch below that. Which meant neither my wife nor our kids could eat these two dishes. The butter chicken was tolerable (though closer to medium spicy than mild) and they ended up eating mostly this, with lots of naan. Won't be coming back.

We have ordered the paneer biriyani (family pack) and Gobi 65! Overall I am amazed by the quantity. The family pack comes with pakoras, Gulab Jamun in addition to raita. The serving is enough for a family of 3-4. Now coming to the taste, the biriyani is Hyderabad style, gravy soaked rice on the bottom and white rice on the top. Didn't like the raw onion in biriyani but other than that, overall I like the biriyani. The paneer tastes and looks like tofu, not a paneer. But this happened to me many times from "Indian" restaurants so I just let it slide. Overall taste wise the biriyani is a 4 out of 5. I chose mild and we got mild as well. Gobi 65 is a bit dry for my taste but there are plenty of cauliflower seasoned and cooked perfectly. Overall taste wise both of the dishes are good. The pakoras on the side are very crunchy, so an unexpected surprise! I would highly recommend this place and looking forward to trying other biriyanis as well. I took off one star due to the disguise of tofu as paneer!

First time ordered from here using DoorDash and bit disappointed. I ordered chicken Biryani and Lamb curry. Since there is Chicken and Lamb in the name you would think I will receive some meat in the dishes. But no, barely anything. Lamb curry had 3-4 chunks of bone, barely any meat. Taste was good but without any meat just bone it was very disappointing.

One dish that truly stood out and has now become my absolute favorite is their pepper chicken. Perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, the chicken was tender and juicy, complemented by a delightful peppery kick that was just the right amount of spice. Each bite was a taste sensation that left me wanting more. Telugu vallu andaru, idhi mana side dhaba lo dorike pepper chicken style, crispness and spiciness yummy.

I have yet to try their biryani. But recently we visited boba bliss and saw the live stall. We ate pani puri and dosa. Every thing tasted so yummy. We would definitely go back for dosa and chaat. Update : I ordered take out. We were very disappointed with the overly sweet Malai Koft dish. It felt like a sweet dish instead of a savory main dish. Naans were bit too thick and hard to eat. There Biryani is really yummy. And family size gets you a good quantity.

Another day, another Desi restaurant checked off. Since we had Vegetarian the previous time, we opted for Biriyani during our return leg of our journey. This place was in close proximity to the hotel we were residing at. It is a laid back authentic Andhra tasting Biriyani restaurant. Mrs. and I loved our biriyani from here. We ordered a Chicken and Goat Dum biriyani. Salan and Raitha paired superbly with the dishes. Ian had a Garlic and a Butter naan. He kept raving about how crunchy and tasty his naans were. *Laughs* Check this restaurant for authentic biriyani guys!

As you might have guessed based on the font choice of the front sign, this is definitely run by members of the Supreme Master Ching Hai group, and if you know other restaurants run by this group, you will know what to expect here as well. The food is accordingly Asian fusion with a healthy dose of Vietnamese, and features a lot of fresh and tasty vegetables and the obligatory slightly odd naming scheme, heh. My husband and I happen to really enjoy the food at these types of places, and Blossom Vegan was happily no exception. I got the vegetable chow fun dish, which was loaded with nice veggies, and my husband got the tofu banh mi (which I think was called a Saigon sandwich or something like that). Both were great! The decor is actually a little less strongly influenced by the Supreme Master Ching Hai branded items than some other such places, and I think the wall mural is cute. The location is clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and reasonably attentive, but it seems you do go up front to pay rather than paying at the table. I don't anticipate being in this area again soon, but I am happy to know a location like this is out here for any future excursions into the area! We'll definitely be back again if that happens!

For drinks, we both got an iced lavender latte, which was delicious. I loved how the cardamom complemented the lavender so well and it was very refreshing and not too sweet. The smash burger was the best vegan patty I have had in years. It was very flavorful and moist. The watermelon salad was delicious, especially the avocado mousse. The pistachio cream on the pistachio bread was so addicting. I wish I could have bought a bottle of it! Every single item was crafted so well with the freshest ingredients. This alone told me this restaurant was going to be great. The clove was an absolutely outstanding restaurant. Every single thing we got exceeded expectations. The price is also extremely reasonable and the servings are massive. The customer service is also very good. We chose this restaurant because we were looking for a place that could make Jain food for my Nani. I was delightfully surprised to see just how accommodating they are and how much of the menu can be made jain! Matar paratha - not something you see on the menu too often! My Nani ordered this and it was SO good! The peas provided a very fresh flavor, and truly reminded us of something we would eat at home. Dosa - insanely big. The filling was very good, and the sambar was probably one of the best ones I've ever had. Thali- it's not often that you find a thali in which every single dish is good. In this one, though every dish was so flavorful and so good. It was a great introduction to the food at the restaurant. Soya chaap- it was my first time having this because it's also one of those things you don't find on the menu often. It was delicious though, the sauce was tangy and had just a touch a spice to it. Overall, the food was very good. It was spicy in a way that isn't in your face. We truly loved all the food we got and the whole experience. It is very rare that my Nani actually enjoys what she gets at a restaurant, but the clove was so good that my Nani was asking if we can come back to the next day. The clove provides food that reminds you of home. while the restaurant has more of a modern feel to it, the service and food make it feel homey. The only preference I would have is that the edamame shell be removed so it is easier to eat. Other than the edamame, I would order this again. The Katsu Curry Chicken was generously portioned & the chicken not overly cooked so that it is dry. What always stands out for us is the curry sauce. It has the desirable heat, the taste & consistency that we look forward to. The Katsu Curry Pork was a noticeable size smaller than the chicken but all the components of the sauces remained the same as for the chicken curry. Since this is a small restaurant, the standing room is very limited & a small bench that is in the narrow pathway of the staff's entering & exiting the kitchen makes it a little cramped. So I would recommend either getting an early start to your lunch or dinner meals to avoid the busy crowd & standing room space.

There is outdoor and indoor seating. Appetizers - 4/5 We ordered shrimp and calamari. The shrimp was a tad over cooked. The shrimp were slightly on the hard side, not tender soft as we would have preferred. But the flavor of the spices made this appetizer flavorful. The calamari was excellent. The breading was crisp, and the calamari was tender. I would recommend the calamari for sure. Sea Bass - 4/5 This dish was very good. You get a whole small sea bass, filleted with bone in. So be aware that there are numerous small fish bones that you must be aware of when eating this dish. You need to do a little work to be sure you are not scooping up fish with fine bones. Tahoe being said, the sea bass was cooked perfectly. The fish was not hard or tough, but was soft and tender. If this fish was boneless, I would give it 5/5. Lobster pasta - 4.5/5 The presentation of this dish was awesome. (See pic). The pasta was prepared perfectly al dante. The flavor was savory and delicious. There was more shrimp than lobster. The lobster mixed in the paste were small pieces of lobster claws, not lobster tail. But overall, this selection was still very good. Lokum (Filet Mignon) - 4/5 Very nice tender filet mignon prepared to my preference. The slices were thin. The meyhane rice was flavorful. Sea Bass - 3.5/5 The sea bass was good, but very boney. You have to be careful of very tiny fish bones. You need to carefully extract the fish bones which was annoying at times. But the sea bass filet (without the bones) was firm and flakey. Parts of the sea bass was dry, other parts was tender. The salad was fine. In my opinion, I do not believe this dish is worth the $36. Ali Nazik- 5/5 This dish was very tasty. The marinated tenderloin over smoked egg plant was very savory and flavorful. The garlic yogurt kicked up the flavor. A nice combination of protein and plant. I would reorder this dish in the future. Bodrum Mezze is a very nice Turkish style cuisine that provides good service and decent meals. A must try for individuals looking for something different from the usual American, Asian, and Hispanic cuisine in the Bay Area.
