We came here today for our niece's birthday little party first time in for me it was amazing. My family and I checked out Biscotti's for dinner Saturday night while staying at the Peppermill. We ordered the Chicken and Steak Fajitas, Kids Pasta with Red Sauce, Clam Chowder and Watermelon salad. Everything was tasty - my daughter loved her pasta! We left full and satisfied! Staff was friendly and made sure to check on us constantly which we appreciated. Lots of seating and bright lighting make the restaurant seem open and spacious! Biscotti's also has café next door that offers coffee, pastries, salads and sandwiches. I was totally shocked at the substantial portions at this restaurant. I originally went there for breakfast with a friend about 4-5 years ago. 95% of the time, I generally consume my entire meal. On that visit, I was only able to consume 2/3 of the meal. Two days ago, I returned to the restaurant for dinner with two other friends. All three of us had beef entrées. Two of us had prime rib, and the portions were fairly large. What a fantastic meal!!! The third entrée was a ribeye steak which was fairly large and was totally consumed. Our waiter was informative regarding menu items, and we also asked him what his preference would be between two different dishes. He appeared to be right on target with his opinion, and returned to check up on us at least twice. The restaurant noise level was slightly elevated, but we didn't have any problems communicating during dinner. This restaurant is located inside of the Peppermill casino. I would definitely return for another meal, as the prices are reasonable for casino cuisine. read more

6/25/2023 I saw a fellow Yelper pic on the North Beach burger..and really wanted to try it. Perfect day, as I also have my hair appt. at the salon. Busy busy, but was able to get seated right away. Decided to try the chicken tortilla soup- cup.. Wow!-.. arcing is very generous for a cup size.. Flavors were on point.. nice meat ratio and loved the diced potatoes.. 5 stars!.. We split the North Beach burger-.. Bread was nicely toasted and crispy.. burger cooked just right and filling.. It's times like these that I truly appreciate being a "Nevadan".. local..just great food and ambiance.. Peppermill is just classy, and brings in the out of towner's.. (I was one ..lol).. It has been many years since I have been here and remember enjoying them before. They are located on the second floor of Peppermill near the Tuscany Tower elevators. We were working a convention that was right next to it and didn't want to go far. It is a nicer restaurant, so more $$$. Entrees are $28+ so we opted for sandwiches that came with fries or another side. Ordered the chicken sandwich for $21. It was good and filling. The fries were a little overcooked and nothing special. I was hoping for some kind of seasoning or freshness. Our waiter was nice and attentive enough. They also have a small coffee shop on the outside where you can get pastries and gelato/sorbets. I'm going to give only 3 stars because there is room for improvement and I really really want them to get back to some of their traditions. First you lost a star because why is the French Onion soup not on the menu everybody loves your French onion soup it's the bomb...also ...they use to have one of the best buffets in the US for the holidays, bring those back too...Weight staff is good but needs to improve just a little bit . We had visited this restaurant once before a few years back and it was delicious. So we decided to go for dinner last night and we were very underwhelmed. This review is more for the food than the service.The service was great. We ordered the calamari. We're the appetizer presentation was pretty, but upon eating what we could of it, it was very hard dry and chewy. My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs, which came out very plain and not worth the money, i got the chicken Caesar salad chicken was delicious. Presentation was nice. Lettuce was soaked by dressing. We got our daughter, the cheese pizza, which was probably the best dish of everything. Unfortunately, we probably won't be eating here again. While at a conference in the Peppermill, Biscotti's became our go-to for breakfast and late-night dining, We never had to wait for a table for either breakfast or dinner since the dining room is so large. The booths are very spacious and comfortable. Our server for breakfast was fantastic and very attentive. Our server for dinner was a bit more busy but she worked it out, The portions are l-a-r-g-e so either come hungry or prepare to leave with a to-go box. The food is very high quality. The P&B martini was axtually pretty decent We were a large group and our server did really good. She was constantly checking on us. I definitely did not get the full Biscottis experience since we came here to celebrate a friends birthday but were not to hungry so only got drinks and the wings. With that said the drinks were very good and strong and the wings were tasty, however they were not extra crispy even though we asked for that. From looking at what other people ordered it did look like they had some unique items that looked good. With that said I do tend to stay away from places that have 5 different kinds of cuisines on their menu so likely would not have chosen this place but was glad to see that the items were well made. I would definitely consider coming back and maybe trying some entrees in the future to get a better idea but for now, with the limited experience, it seems that you can definitely find some tasty dishes and if you have a group with a bunch of different tastes this might work out well. read more

We had a very good dining experience at Biscotti's restaurant when we came to listen to favorite traditional jazz band perform at the Terrace Lounge recently. Hungry from the 3 hour drive to get to Reno, we were in search of sustenance. It was a nice surprise to discover Biscotti's restaurant located very close to the venue. What a great way to celebrate another awesome anniversary with my sweetie than go to Biscotti's at the Peppermill. Since we were staying there anyway, this was super convenient to go to and from a previous awesome experience here, it's no wonder we had our go-to dishes already in mind. For me, it's the Prime Rib Hash that also has two poached eggs and Béarnaise sauce on top. This dish is very filling and definitely a pleaser in my book for brunch. Our service was top notch and from a server we had last year. The coffee was hot and freshly brewed and compliments the meal perfectly. The staff is very friendly, the food has been wonderful every time, every item we have ordered has been excellent and exceeded our expectations. Even though it was not busy, they seated throughout the large room so we had lots of space and a private feeling. Sat down for dinner on Thursday night, Leland was our server (I think his name was Leland.) He was fantastic. On top of his game, he was one step ahead of us and gave great service. I had been waiting to try the Monte Cristo sandwich and this one did not disappoint. The turkey and ham with the melted cheese was pure goodness. They served it with strawberry jam which was the perfect marriage of sweet and savory. The fries were great too. I ended up taking 1/2 my plate back to the room and had it for a late night/morning snack. Leland brought me a to go box and without having to ask also brought me a serving of jam for my left over. My husband had a shredded chicken quesadilla. Leland brought a large serving of salsa as my husband went through the small portion quickly. The restuarant booths are comfortable, plenty of seating and nice quiet atmosphere. Biscotti's is away from the casino floor so there isn't much traffic passing through. Just overall a great experience, mostly based on the service, but the food was great too. We ended up ordering lunch the next day. You order from the cafe section, got a NY pepperoni pizza and a blue cheese, fruit and walnut salad, added grilled cheese to that. And after the good fries the night before, ordered 2 sides of fries. The service at the cafe was great, they were friendly and helpful. Packed our to go order with plenty of dressing and cheese/peppers for the pizza, plates and such. Food again was great. no compliants. Serving portions were large, I wasn't able to eat all my salad. We also had pizza as a late night snack. read more

All in all it is good. For the price I'd say ridiculous! A casino should have cheaper food but of course blame it on the economy. I had the Benedict and it was good. I've had better at other restaurants. Potatoes are good nothing that a cup of catchup can make tastier. Coffee was better than most places and of course service was good and place is quiet and comfortable away from the mail casino. I'd try it again but for these prices, I'll adventure out to a list of other places with good or better reviews. read more

The only reason I'm not giving 5 starts is because you could still smell the cigarettes from the next door bar, which is open so there is no way the smoke can be kept confined in there so if you are eating at this restaurant you better ask for a table far in the back if you don't like the smell of cigarettes. This restaurant is located inside the Peppermill Hotel . Definitely this restaurant fits the bill. Again, in the gambling area smoke all you want, but they allow kids in the hotel so yeah. Not well designed or thought well about. We order Huevos Racheros (I wish I would've added bacon, sausage or event Mexican chorizo) it was really good but missing some meat. My husband ordered the breakfast power bowl. He liked it but he said it was a bit too sour at some points. My sister ordered the southwest chorizo scramble. She loved it! I didn't get to try it. I was afraid of losing a limb if I did lol :D They have a café next to it (it's all inside the hotel) and it seemed to have more of the sweet side of things. The bathrooms are not that close to the restaurant so you'll have to take a little long walk. Past the convention center. Prices are fair for the amount of food they give you. Atmosphere is wonderful, very peaceful, beautiful decorating and spacious. Service was very good as always. Rachel was polite, friendly and I was well taken care of. I had a BLT with turkey with a watermelon salad. The sandwich was delicious. Lots of bacon, cooked properly. The sunflower sprouts were awesome, really elevated the sandwich. I would definitely order that again. The watermelon salad was ok. I really liked the mint with the watermelon, however the watermelon was a little mushy for my taste.
