We had a great 1st time experience at the Biscuit House. As you enter, you place your order with a cashier, easy enough. You fill your own drinks; we had water and coffee. Found a table and our food was served hot within 10 to 15 minutes tops. My 3-egg omelet was light, flavorful served with hot crispy hash brown and their famous biscuit. I would recommend this gem for a delicious tasteful breakfast. Hours are 7am-3 pm daily. Ample parking and I forgot to mention they also provide outdoor seating, and the establishment was neat and clean. The service was great. read more

First experience and not that impressive. Restaurant is clean and very well designed. Looks pretty inside. Menu has great options but the quality was underwhelming. We had the Haley Hash and Sunshine Pizza. Both plated well and very generous servings. Eggs cooked perfectly (over easy). Hash was bland and we feel the "homemade" biscuits have been frozen. I'm sure they do make them in house, but probably make ahead and freeze to keep up with daily demand. Staff are super friendly and attentive. I recently tried Biscuit House, and while the food was solid, the overall experience left me feeling underwhelmed. If I were rating just the food, it would definitely get a 4. The scrambled eggs were perfectly seasoned--fluffy and not too salty--and the sweet cream pancake was impressive. It was huge, taking up the entire plate (probably 7-9 inches in diameter), and honestly, it didn't even need syrup. One pancake was more than enough; I only managed to eat half. I also had a caramel macchiato, which was pretty good. My total bill came to $22, which seemed reasonable at first. However, the tipping system surprised me. You're prompted to tip at the counter before realizing that the service operates more like fast food. Once you've paid and received your food, there's no table service. No one checks on you, so there are no refills. If you want ice water, you have to get up and ask. While the food was enjoyable, the fast-food-style service just isn't what I look for when I go out for breakfast or brunch. I prefer the traditional experience where coffee is refilled at the table and there's a bit more attention to the customer. For that reason, I probably wouldn't come back. It's just not my cup of tea, but if you're okay with this concept and know this in advance, the food is definitely worth a try. Also...I do love the redesign of the space from Anchor Bar. We went the first week it opened. We were not impressed but tried to consider that they were brand new. We have intended to give them a second chance and finally did today. We were surprised to walk in to an almost empty dining room Sunday morning at 9:45 AM. We ordered the full biscuit breakfast, a Spanish omelet and 2 coffees. At over $40.00 it should be nothing short of spectacular. It wasn't. The biscuits were dense with no flake. The eggs, bacon and sausage were fine but standard. Really not much different than Denny's. The hash browns had no crisp. My wife said the Spanish omelet had an off putting flavor. She didn't eat half of it. We left wishing we went somewhere else or cooked for ourselves. This is the first time we ate here. We read the review before we came here. They were spot on in terms of being unorganized. We walked in and didn't know where to check in. We had to ask the person cleaning the tables. After waiting almost 35 min we were told to order our food because they have no wait staff. We had to ask where we would get refills. If I was the owner I would move the check in desk where the dirty dishes are now by the front door. I would have the staff provide instructions on what to expect such as once we have a table to go in line and order food and by the way here is where you get your refills. I would also invest in a pager or online app that alerts customers when the table is ready so that the staff doesn't have to run around trying to figure out where the parties are. I ordered the rise and shine and the pancake. The food is delicious but having to wait 35 min to get our food is unacceptable. We understand that this is a new business and they are a small business and need to work things out. If a business is popular wouldn't you invest in more staff? read more

Tried this place with my mom this morning. What a big disappointment! I wanted to order pancakes but when I saw they were $11.49 for just 2 pancakes and nothing else, I switched and ordered the veggie omelette as did my mom. That was still pricey at $13.99 but you got a 3 egg omelette, hash browns, & a biscuit. The ONLY thing that had any flavor was the hash browns, and I'm normally not a fan of them. Even after adding salt & pepper to the omelette it was pretty bland and the biscuits were a huge disappointment to both of us. I tried it first with butter, no flavor and a weird texture. On the other half I tried jam, still not good. On the plus side, it was clean inside, food came pretty quickly, and servers came around frequently.
