"Banana" pudding literally had one slice of banana in it. It was a cup of whipped cream and crumbs

I honestly don't know how this place has such rave reviews. The service was awkward, I was greeted by 3 guys but it didn't feel welcoming. I ordered the platter sampler for $30 and a side of biscuits. The platter came with tri tip, Mac n cheese, pulled pork, a rib, mini biscuit and banana pudding. First of all, the banana pudding had NO bananas in it! Except one slice which was on top. Such a shame because it was a very cute presentation but it was basically a cup of whip cream with crumbs inside. I kept digging my around to find a banana but to no avail. I guess they're trying to cut costs but damn I never had a banana pudding with NO BANANAS. That was insane. The Mac n cheese tastes like KFC mac n cheese. The rib was the scrawniest rib ever. There was barely any meat on it and it did not have a smoke ring or bark. The tri tip was ok, not great not bad. The pulled pork was not my thing. The biscuits were dry and disappointing (especially for $10 for 2). I tried 3 of the sauces but none of them were to my taste. I ordered my food to go but there were no napkins, utensils or sauces put in the bag. When I asked about it I was basically told to go back inside and get it myself. Tbh I'm not sure why I tipped because the service was baaaaarree minimum. Would not recommend and would not go back.

One of the best BBQ restaurants in the Bay Area and our favorite restaurant in Napa. The Nashville Hot Chicken sando was the best sandwich I've ever had. The kind staff made us feel welcome. The restaurant inside is clean and cozy. Outside is on the edge of downtown Napa. Food was delicious. I ordered the fig and tri-tip sandwich. My wife ordered the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich. Potato salad, biscuits, and the banana panna cotta were well made. I highly recommend eating at Biscuits BBQ

Great food, friendly fast service, and a cool ambiance is how I would describe Biscuits BBQ. I heard about this new restaurant in Napa from a few people I trust, and they gave it the thumbs up. My first time here, I tried the Smoked Chicken Sando. It came on a toasted hoagie roll with an incredible mozzarella cheese skirt inside. Then, the smoked chicken was placed inside the cheese skirt with an amazing sauce that compliments the chicken perfectly. When o bit into the sandwich I was blown away. Chicken was juicy, the cheese skirt was crispy on the edges and cheesy on the inside, and I can't say enough about the sauce!! Amazing combination. I'm definitely going back to try the ribs next!

Pic doesn't do this rib justice (color looks off) but it was delicious w/ their blueberry habanero bbq sauce!

Love restos with humble beginnings. Love them even more when they name their resto after their pet who has a food name! Biscuits BBQ is named after the couple's cat...after the term when cats "make biscuits" with their paws. CUTE! Biscuits BBQ started as a pop-up in 2023 from a Napa native that's worked at Angèle and Michelin-starred Redd before it permanently closed. They've grown from one smoker and a makeshift table with two wine barrels underneath to their first brick and mortar last year. Open for takeout, delivery, and dine-in (limited seating indoor and outdoor). The last time we were in Napa we opted to go to the hella hyped Stateline Road Smokehouse (Kansas-style BBQ) so this time we tried Biscuits BBQ and it didn't disappoint! M E N U Rotating menu of traditional BBQ with a California fusion twist. While they have ribs and brisket, the main focus seems to be on sandwiches....creative ones with chorizo seasoned pork belly, nashville chicken with a cheese skirt, and more. They also have your usual BBQ sides with their own twists and desserts. Beer & wine available. F O O D * Baby Back Ribs (Half-$19): https://tinyurl.com/2mpky2ae Lightly seasoned bark, the warm slow-smoked ribs were tender, meaty, and moist with a nice pull. What sets Biscuits apart are their BBQ sauces! They have a red wine, spicy bbq, honey mustard, and my personal fav: blueberry habanero! The fruity heat just works so well with pork. We enjoyed the ribs so much we went back inside to order a full rack to take back to the city. * Biscuits w/ truffle honey butter & smoked apple butter (2 pc-$10) Served warm, the buttermilk biscuits were huge with a crisp exterior and fluffy soft center. The rich, earthy sweet umami of the truffle honey butter took this to the next level. S E R V I C E Friendly, warm, and prompt. The co-owner, Jessica was super sweet and even offered to label all the BBQ sauces. A M B I A N C E No-frills, small space with rustic country vibes. Three tables inside and four high tops outside. P A R K I N G Street parking and there's a lot across the street. Overall, Biscuits BBQ is DT Napa gem serving delicious BBQ with unique twists. If you're in the wine country, give this local small business a try!

I went to four other BBQ places in the area because of the quantity of reviews. Hit this place last on a whim. It's a little mom & pop place off the main road. I've been to many BBQ places around the US including Nashville, Texas and Kansas City. These babies were so tender, the rich rendered marbling throughout was spot on. Nicely seasoned and a balance of smoke. Can't say enough how delicious these are, definitely worth a try. You can also see the chef artist through a little widow in front. Kudos!!!

Small takeout place with a few outdoor and indoor seating options. cute! Supporting local businesses! Community. Locals own this place. At biscuits it is all about the sauce in my opinion. Love the spicy bbq chicken sando with Alabama white sauce with over flow grilled cheese skirt. Alabama white sauce is Yum. Be warned this is a rich sandwich! The chicken is sliced into cubes so the sauce covers more of the ingedients in the interior. The biscuits are just BIG! I cannot recall such large biscuits except in Texas where my sister lived for five years. Support local businesses

Napa local, first visit 4/4/25. Pros: Potato salad and The house made spicy BBQ sauce was excellent. Great flavor on both, just right amount of heat on sauce. Nice bun and crunch on the coleslaw. Cons: the sandwich we blindly chose, was smaller than others, the cubano and chicken were larger i guess. We got the brisket $18 bun and coleslaw. It wasn't bad but a little underwhelming for the price mostly the portion size. I sprung in for the half rack of baby back ribs. $20.66 with tax . These were really tender. Had a nice rub. I was just wishing it had a little bit more flavor, and portions but it was a perfect match with the spicy barbecue sauce. I forgot to mention that the owner was low-key undercover on hand at the register. She was kind & polite but didnt really make a huge connection with us. Got the feeling they were trying to wrap it up go home. Didnt even know they were closing up, they were still serving someone after us and people were dining inside and out. She informed us curtly that the homemade biscuits were already gone sold out. You have to get here early! Overall, not bad, I was left hungry and wanting more. The owners did reach out, but it was more of a guilt trip and defense than just making sure we were happy and okay. We're moving I wish them all the best. Typical downtown napa prices without the beans to deliver. Maybe having some bbq meal options would work better. Or if we got the bigger sandwich.

Biscuits continues to be our goto BBQ Sando place. Overall my favorite has been the Smoked Chicken with Alabama White Sauce. There always is a version of this sando so I recommend this one. Also I got to try the homemade biscuits. As I was eating, I had this question pop into my head: where have you been all my life? Lol. If you see it on the menu this is a must try. They don't always have it because the kitchen is limited. The chef makes the very best with space he has. Maybe one day he will have a full kitchen so we can see a full array of his creations. In any case, well done.

My coworker and I wanted to try something different for lunch one day and since neither of us have had biscuits bbq since they've opened in Napa we decided it was time. Since it was our lunch we placed our order online and picked it up. The lady at the counter was friendly and helpful. We ordered two sandwiches so we could have half each. Not sure if anyone else does this; but I wanted to have a bite or two of one and then the other and savor the "best" for last..that didn't work. My first bite into that chicken sandwich, juicy, tender, just the right amount of sauce, and next thing I knew it was almost gone..oops when I realized I set it down and picked up that tri tip; one of the most tender tri tip sandwiches I've ever had. I literally couldn't tell you which one I loved more. My coworker had the same problem. We both went home and dreamt about these sandwiches and had to fight the urge to go again for the next week.

Wow, we came here because we thought we were getting a standard barbecue, but we ended up getting sandwiches which were insanely good. I can't wait to come again. Also, the owners are the most lovely people carrying waiting on you discussing whatever you wanna discuss absolutely fabulous place have fun and tasty beers on the menu and Are willing to split sandwiches in half. I will always eat here when I come to Napa.

Although this is a fairly small spot, Biscuits BBQ is definitely a solid place to grab a bite in Napa. The staff were all very nice and welcoming, and the chicken sandwich I got wasn't dry at all. I really liked how well the bacon and their pesto went together! My friends got the smoked brisket sandwich, and one said the brisket was so juicy. Also got the mac salad and potato salad, and the mac salad is fairly mustard-forward. I love that, but if you're not that into that kind of thing, just know the mustard is very much there. Overall, glad I found this spot while exploring Napa!

Stopped in ready to order more than I knew I would be able to eat. (Success...) The Boom boom chicken sando was the first thing to catch my attention... no regrets! You're instantly hit with smoke and pepper on the palate in the most savory kind of way. Tender chicken in every bite... Super good! Mac and cheese seemed to be your standard Kraft Mac but a little thicker. I should have grabbed some BBQ sauce for it. (Not something I'll go for next time, but that's okay.) The biscuits with honey butter are the perfect combo- and huge! I'll be back!

my dad really wanted to try biscuits barbecue after we had tried another local barbecue spot nearby. We ended up trying it the day of the farmers market and they were open earlier than what was posted on their window. The ambience felt like ranch style with an intimate setting inside and a few high stools outside The service was pretty good, the woman behind the counter kind of helped us through the various sauce tastings. I got the pulled pork lettuce wraps, which were a little too pepperyfor my liking. My dad got the ribs, which were just OK. My mom got this fig sandwich which was also not bad as well. Will want to try the sweet tea on the next visit or if they had any other enticing desserts

Unfortunately, my experience fell short in a few meaningful ways. I ordered a lavender coffee latte, which I was really looking forward to, but it lacked flavor and was disappointing enough that I chose not to purchase anything further. That alone might not have stopped me from returning, but what followed did. Knowing European culture, and especially Parisian cafés, are often very dog-friendly, and given Napa's well-known dog-loving atmosphere, I felt comfortable bringing my dog, who is a service animal. I was immediately asked to leave because only service animals are allowed, with the assumption made that my dog was not one. While he is in fact a service animal, the interaction left me feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. There was no curiosity or neutral clarification... just an assumption and a request to leave. That moment really deflated the excitement I had walking in. Between the coffee experience and feeling unwelcome, I decided not to stay as long as planned or purchase anything further. I'm glad to see that others have had better experiences here, and the pastries certainly look lovely. I suppose those interested should trust other reviewers on that front. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I won't be returning.

It danced perfectly between tart citrus and gentle sweetness, leaving you reaching back for another forkful before you even realized it. The crust, often an afterthought in lesser pies, was executed with precision, thin, crisp, and just sturdy enough to support the layers without competing for attention.
