Stopped here one morning in search of biscuits and gravy. To start the coffee, decaf nonetheless, was excellent. Great flavor and strong. The avocado Benedict was very very good. I asked for a medium hard poached egg and they delivered! The avocado was the perfect ripeness and the hollandaise sauce was light and tasty. And now for the biscuits and gravy - It was a good test plate with scrambled egg and crispy bacon on the side. The biscuits were a good size, a little Dowie in the center, and would have benefited from being split. The sausage gravy was tasty. The scrambled eggs were excellent and the bacon cooked perfectly. We were in the area visiting relatives and they suggested that we go to Biscuits Cafe. We're glad we did...here is what we noticed: - There was a bit of a wait on a Saturday morning, even though we were there pretty early (~9am). - The menu was really diverse...lots of different options. - I ordered the Kielbasa & Eggs, but decided to swap out the potatoes with fruit to make it more healthy. I liked that they game me two fruit choices: berries or melons. I also got a biscuit. My wife ordered the Beast Benedict. Overall, both dishes were tasty but huge...my wife took half of hers home. - Coffee was fine, and there were flavored creamers on the table (a plus for my wife). - Service was pretty good, but it did take quite a while for the food to come out after ordering...it made us wonder if the kitchen was bit enough to support the number of tables in the place. First time at this Biscuits Cafe. I arrived at 10:20 on a Tuesday morning and it was 1/3 full. I was seated at the counter, even though there were plenty of tables. The host didn't really know what he was doing. After a ten minute wait, I went back to the host and asked for a table. He replied that someone would be right with me. I told him that I would prefer a table but he argued that she would be around soon. After insisting upon a table, he said: okay, I'll be with you soon, even though he had the time to seat me. I unfortunately didn't have an experience. We decided last minute while on our way to Buscuit cafe that we wanted to see a movie in about an hour and a half. So 6 minutes out from Biscuits cafe we called to see if there was a wait time or if we should turn around and go somewhere closer to our theatre. The lady said there was no wait for 2 people but that could change. We told her we were (at that time) 3 minutes away and we'd be right there. We pulled in, parked and walked in. Lady at the counter told us 25 minutes to be seated wow I just don't understand? I'm not that upset about the time wasted as it was only 10-15 minutes but why would you tell us there was immediate availability and 5 minutes later it's 25? That's a big difference. read more

I had the classic breakfast, two eggs, hashbrowns, sausage links, and two pancakes. Ask for the eggs over easy, they came overcooked - completely hard. Ordered the hashbrown crispy, they came barely cooked. Everything was pretty much room temperature. Example: the butter would not melt on the pancakes. It took approximately 20-25 minutes for the food to arrive after ordering it. It was not busy when we were there. My wife had the California Club. It consisted of big chunks of sliced turkey thrown on the sandwich, some kind of smoked cheese instead of swiss cheese, and cold seasoned fries. The bacon and the ciabatta bread were okay. This 4th time eating at Biscuits Cafe. The first time was shortly after they first opened and they had fish & chips on the menu. It was excellent. The second time we had had the same fish & chips, this time they were horrible. Besides being cold, a couple of the fish fillets were re-cooked in the oil and served to us hard as a rock and burnt - absolutely not acceptable. The third time was approximately 4 years ago. We had breakfast that time. Everything was cold, really cold. We sent it back and I believe they just reheated everything instead of replacing it. Not a good practice. I don't know if the cook(s) are not trained, or the wait staff are too busy and not picking the food in a timely manner. Either way, we will not go back there. read more

I tried an alternative way, I tried the online platform and it didn't work again. I would love to try your food, but both methods to place an order to pick up aren't working. We've been to Biscuits 2 times and both times it was very enjoyable. We didn't have to wait to long to get a table for breakfast. The Bacon Bloody Marys are very good, the Mimosa Flights are my wife's favorite. The food both time has been very good with large portions. Both times the service was great, friendly and informative. Taking the time to definitely do a shout out for manager, Jamie. Had a small problem in our visit that had me call on her attention. I was irritated and Jamie was so professional in her position that she handled the situation that I felt heard and understood. I appreciate all that she did for us. My husband and I were hungry so we found this place that was close by the house we were staying at. Never been but the food looked good. Ordered a coffee for myself and my husband an orange juice. Waitress didn't ask what size he wanted so she gave him a large (which cost $5 apparently- that's about double the price of an entire bottle of orange juice from the store!). I got my coffee and was stirring the cream and sugar in when I felt something at the bottom of my cup. I thought it was just coffee grounds or sugar stuck at the bottom so I kept stirring. The "thing" wasn't dissolving so I tried fishing it out instead, and to my surprise I pulled out a piece of paper. It looked like that paper that wraps around the napkin and silverware that holds it all together! I was grossed out because who knows where that paper even came from and if it was used! I ordered a new one and the waitress didn't even seem that fazed by what I found in my coffee. She didn't really say anything or offer to get me a new so I had to order it myself. Also I would advise staying away from the hash browns. We both ordered them as a side for our meals and they were terrible. Burnt and hard as stone on the outside, bland and mushy on the inside! And when we got the bill, for some reason they charged me $1.00 more than what they charged my husband for the hash browns (+$2.50 for his and $3.50 for mine) even though our portions and orders were basically identical. Overall it's easy to say we won't be coming back ever. Not a great first impression in my opinion! We didn't enjoy having to pay $50 for the bad experience. read more

Visiting from CA and went to breakfast here. Got seated fairly quickly but then everything went to shit. Our server (Valerie V) was horrible. She took our order, she told us they were behind on their ticket times so we added a cinnamon roll to our order. We asked her to bring us the cinnamon roll first since we would have to wait. She said "No problem, I'll bring that right out." We were waiting and waiting. We then told another employee what was going on and she tried to help. The next thing you know, our waitress brought out the cinnamon roll and walked away without saying a word to us. Not even a minute later, someone else brought our breakfast out. We ordered biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon and the cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll and eggs were cold, the biscuits were burnt, and the bacon was hard as a rock. We were very disappointed with this visit, the only reason we went this time was because we enjoyed the first time we went. First & Last Timer There are a number of things wrong with the cooks that are employed at Biscuits Cafe. Placed a $70 online order for overpriced, poorly made slop! Out of all the food that was ordered only 20% was edible and tolerable (sides), 80% was garbage. Dry, bland Hashbrowns, Biscuits so dry it will take all moisture out your mouth, and their Chicken Fried Steak hard as a rock & flat as a pancake. They will not put any powdered sugar, Strawberries or any toppings on your French Toast even though that is what is advertised. I could make better mac-n-cheese from the Kraft BOX! than what was given being unmixed noodles with clump of cheap cheese in the middle. I 1000% believe nobody in San Tan Valley knows how to cook anything right. This restaurant's online pictures to the actual food you get is a SCAM!!!!! SAVE your money, time, tastebuds, and frustration and drive into Queen Creek or Gilbert! Just keep driving!!! read more
