Drink (Tea) station

Loved my first visit to Biscuitville! Such a nice concept and cute place. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was upbeat. Someone is making the biscuits fresh right in front of you which is so cool. I got the spicy chicken biscuit and loved it. My guy got the plain and also liked his very much. The wedge fries were good and cooked right. The grits were fine as well. My favorite part - the biscuits didn't fall apart while eating/biting! Open spaced seating, TVs, and cute framed photos were the icing on the cake. Only fail was a messy bathroom. We shall return.

Stoped here on the way to an appointment for a late lunch. It was 25 minutes until they closed but I was told at the register they were closing " in a few minutes ". I had a coupon for $1.00 off and showed it to 2 people, but I did not get the discount. Food came out fast and was hot so that was good. I would give the food 4 stars. The place was clean and the station where you get drinks and things was clean, so again 4 stars. But customer service brought this down to a 3. Rushing a customer and not honoring a coupon is bad business.

I just moved here from Florida and I am obsessed with Biscuitville! I had family visiting and they love it equally as much. It is always so delicious and super fresh. I've gone through the drive-through a couple times and everybody's been super friendly. They always give my dog a little bone shaped biscuit, which makes us both really happy.

Sausage and egg biscuit

This was my first time at Biscuitville after over 10 years. I stopped by for breakfast, since I'm visiting family in NC - we got the sausage & egg biscuit (pictured), ham biscuit, and the spicy chicken and honey biscuit which was the STAR of the show. The biscuit was pretty good; but a bit dry -- I prefer more butter. The chicken biscuit was really good and balanced nicely with the honey. Definitely more on the corporate biscuit side, as opposed to a local spot -- but definitely still solid.

Asked for no ice the gave me half a cup of the drink... I asked why my cup was half way full they said cause I asked for no ice, first time I've ever had that happen at any food place, will never go to Biscuitville again

This is what I got and was told this is the raspberry swirl - really......

I ordered a Raspberry swirl and this is what I got.........not at all what they advertise. False advertisement.....shame, shame, shame.......take a picture of the real thing and put it on your menu

If the muffin won't then the Biscuitville

Once we got our table, our server came over and greeted us right away she was very pleasant and nice. We started with the fried green tomatoes and then we got the chicken and biscuit and French toast. Everything was delicious, lots of flavor. I will say the portion sizes were on the larger side. No complaints here. Everything was so good. We were too full to get dessert, but the options looked amazing. The restaurant is pretty big. Also has a pretty decent amount of parking. They also have outdoor seating which we did not partake in but looks like it would be nice on a warmer day. We will definitely come back!

The toasted sourdough was a nice touch for sopping up bites. The fried okra was a standout--lightly battered, bright green inside, and not soggy (a minor miracle) The chicken tenders had a peppery cornmeal breading that stayed crunchy and paired well with the dipping sauce. But the most nostalgic part was the warm biscuit split open with peach jelly--sweet, sunny, and the perfect finish! Overall: Comfort food done well, generous portions, great textures, and totally worth the visit

It's been an interesting journey--because while I absolutely respect the tradition, my palate has definitely evolved over the years toward lighter, more elevated, visually beautiful food. That said, sometimes you just have to lean in and experience the classics. Tupelo Honey had been on my list for a while, so during a recent work trip to Raleigh-Durham, I decided to check it off. The location is in a very nice, upscale area--one of those shopping districts where, if you see a Whole Foods nearby, you know the neighborhood is going to be polished, safe, and easy to navigate. Parking was simple in a lot across the street, and since I had a reservation, I was seated quickly on the patio, which was lovely and comfortable. For starters, I ordered the "biscuits for a cause," which is a nice touch knowing the proceeds support employee relief and development funds. They were warm and classic Southern biscuits--exactly what you'd expect. For my entrée, I went with the honey-dusted fried chicken (dark meat), a true Southern staple. It was well prepared, flavorful, and satisfying, especially if you're in the mood for something hearty and traditional. I also tried a cocktail called "The Debutante," which was pleasant and refreshing, and finished the meal with the butter pecan cheesecake for dessert. Overall, the meal was good--solid, reliable Southern comfort food--but if I'm being completely honest, it wasn't particularly memorable for me. I was traveling for work and dining on a per diem, so it checked the box for a dependable dinner in a convenient location. As a larger regional chain, it feels a bit like a rite of passage when you're spending time in the Southeast--something you try once to understand the landscape. Bottom line: Tupelo Honey delivers classic Southern comfort food in a polished, accessible setting. Service was smooth, the patio was pleasant, and everything was executed well. For me personally, it was a good experience--but not one I'd necessarily go out of my way to repeat. Still, as I continue eating my way through the Carolinas and beyond, I'm glad I gave it a try.

We were there for lunch and wanted to try everything. I ordered the Muffalotta with she crab soup. I ordered the 1/2 Muffalotta and I was sure glad I did. It was huge. Ended up taking some home. Unlike the ones I've had in NOLA, this sandwich was grilled. And I loved it! Added an extra crunch and melty cheese. Yum. My husband ordered The Taste of Loisianna. Serving sizes were plenty. He opted for the gator instead if shrimp. After trying everything. Our favorite was the sausage and beans. It had the best flavor. The jambalaya was very rice heavy. And the gumbo was just ok. Nothing was overly spiced. We met one of the owners on our way out. He mentioned they are hoping to add steam tables. This would allow them to offer oysters and shrimp. So keep an eye out for this! On Wednesday's they were doing all gluten-free menu and it was amazing...no crazy unreasonable upcharges, just honest menu pricing and great food. As of this review they are the #2 most reviewed place in Raleigh only behind the Pit. When we went last week for a farewell dinner it took us 3 weeks to get in. We got turned away 2 other times. The place was always packed and busy yet cozy and calm with great service. Hopefully they relocate or put some of the items from the menu at Pooles. I understand as if you aren't seated when they open, you can expect a 90-minute to two-hour wait. I was hoping to get the Chicken Pot Pie this time and thought my prior visit was just off. I was thrilled that most of the menu was available. They were just out of the banana pudding. So I got to try the pecan wings I read about with the white sauce. It was so good. Then I got the chicken pot pie and biscuits. The pot pie had old biscuits for the topping, but the creamy mixture with large chunks of chicken was delicious. My biscuits came with honey and were served warm. I left with a slice of the chocolate-caramel-coconut cake, a side salad without onions, and a fried boneless thigh. The salad was made correctly, and the dressing was included. The salad was full of veggies, and the cake was rich and moist. Service was friendly and as soon as I finished my iced tea, another appeared. My wings were brought out first and it was a while for the rest of the meal as the restaurant was full. But they didn't rush me at all. I actually liked the space between the dishes, as I might not have been able to eat it all otherwise. I couldn't finish both biscuits and was even provided a container for the honey. I am going to miss Beasley's, but I'm glad I got a positive experience to remember the restaurant.

I almost didn't go, because I thought this was the downtown Durham restaurant, which is nice, but parking nightmare. Glad I went, though. The food was solid. I had the fired chicken sandwhich and fries the first day, a buffalo chicken wrap the second day, and the smoked chicken wings the third day, yes, 3 in a row. That has to say something, especially for me. All lunch items were pretty spot on, although I like a little more vinegar in my slaw than most. That was remedied by the texas pete on the bar. The service staff were all hands on. If the bartender was not there, the manager or a back of the house person was always checking on me. Very nice staff. As far as the ambiance itself, nice setup. Good sized bar, nice big patio, clean indoor and restrooms... all in all, I could not ding them for anything. I need to go to check out the weekend brunch or dinner menu. I am sure that I will not be disappointed, however, I have been told to get to brunch before noon, as it gets very busy, also a good thing. Cheers. :)

My date ordered the Blackstone Benedict -a sort of ham, poached eggs, and hollandaise, with breakfast potatoes and gluten-free bread. She was genuinely thrilled with it, which is saying something as she is a hollondaise stickler. By the time we were leaving, a line had started to build, so if you're planning a weekend brunch here, I'd recommend getting there on the earlier side. Parking is easy (big lot), and there's a grocery store right next door, which is surprisingly convenient.
