Great neighborhood restaurant. Pros: very dog friendly…read morePleasant atmosphere. I've always had great service. It's not cheap, but it's not outrageous. Either especially when you compare to everything else in the world today located in the form so you can do shopping which also has dog treats everywhere. All stores are dog, friendly plenty of parking. Not to mention the staff at Henry, love dogs. If you see in the picture, our dog, Hank is having the kids meal the hanky which is a hamburger big enough for an adult. Cons: we love sitting on the patio with our dog Hank, but there is lots of open space around the area so sometimes you do get bees not a huge deal for me, but I saw some people were bothered

First time visiting this location. A friend and I had lunch. I'm glad I made a reservation because…read morethe indoor seating was fully booked by the time I checked in. To me, the food was 3.5 to 4 stars. I ordered the thai and basil soda mocktail which was super refreshing and not too sweet! The spicy tuna and crispy rice was really good! I ordered the harvest bowl ($26) and added 3 oz. of steak for an additional $15. I didn't think that was a good value for roasted veggies and a small portion of steak. Some of the steak was extremely chewy as well. My friend said the hot honey chicken sandwich was good but there was a lot going on. I did take a bite of the molten butter cake while it was hot and fresh (I ordered it to-go) and the caramel really elevated the cake. Five stars for ambiance and service. The vibe here was smart casual. I did enjoy the aesthetic. Service was A+ with Emily. The manager came over a couple of times to make sure we were comfortable which was super sweet! I would definitely return. I really want to visit for brunch one of these days!

We were on our way to San Diego and stayed in Carlsbad for couple of days and dined here!…read more This restaurant truly sticks to the full "campfire" experience within its name. You are first greeted with a campfire smell as soon as you reach the entrance, and indoor the cooks and the staff along with the seating build on this ambience. This the campfire food, we ordered the broccoli in-house specialty which was truly great and filling alone for 4 people. We also ordered the Ribeye, with the $18 side of gratin potatoes which were great and campfire style. We also had the fish of the day which I recommend skipping. The staff went over and beyond with the service. If we ever come back, we would not get the ribeye and fish again though. Will likely get the broccoli again and try the chicken "campfire style".

Another great review for this place Definitely lives up to…read morethe hype and everything we ate here was delicious but I have to say the broccoli is a standout and def hands down the best I've ever had .. oyster were fresh and well flavored.. shrimp was tasty but on the spicy side.. my steelhead trout was delish. Cocktails were good n classic. Mocktails were overly sweet for my liking Service was prompt Only thing is that the indoor restaurant had poor circulation, we were there around 6pm and it was warm and there was no air even when they opened the windows and bathroom was unkept

It's the 1st day of Summer and I wanted to spend a lot of time outdoors soaking up the sunshine…read more What a perrrfect time to finally go to the Tower39 Rooftop Lounge! I wanted to go there for the longest especially for Happy Hour. When I got up there, I was amazed at the ocean views and pleasantly surprised it wasn't crowded during this beauuutiful late afternoon. I picked my spot to sit then stood in line while looking over the front-n-back menu. Everything sounded good but I wanted something fresssh and summery. The friendly staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful in my decision to keep it Summer related. Not too long afterwards, my order came out. Looove the quick service! Both female bartenders were slaying it as soon as the line grew. It was niiice to see the world cup on the t.v. screen. I enjoyed watching it while I ate my yummy food and watched the magical sunset. More people showed up closer to the golden hour. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this coastal hot spot to the Yelp Community!!

They recently updated their seating as well, to super comfortable seats. The food was really good as well! We had the shareable fondue, the prosciutto flatbread, the quesadilla, and one of their salads, and the food was delicious! Overall recommend this spot, but really wish they would add service or bring back the QR codes to order from the table. Plus you can't beat that gorgeous view of the beach and palm trees.

Perfect place for a big party…read more We had a company dinner at Ponto Lago and honestly, it was great. Service was fantastic and our server gave us such great recommendations. We ordered a variety of foods and appetizers and though our party had various dietary preferences, the menu was fantastic for selection and everyone had a great meal. The Koji Aged Rib Eye - Medium Rare was phenomenal. I think everything it came with complemented it so well. My friends (coworkers) and I ordered some additional corn tortillas to eat with our rib eyes and man those were so good. Dessert menu was great and I forgot what it was called but the one I ordered was fantastic. I will say, dining here is worth the price. You get such great foods, great service, and the view is just gorgeous. Will definitely be coming back. Overall rating: Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Menu: 10/10 Restaurant Vibes: 10/10 Price to Overall Dining (POD): 10/10

However, we sat at our table for over 10 minutes before a server actually acknowledged us. That was uncomfortable. Once he came by, we asked about ordering the lobster dinner and he said "well, it's very exclusive." to which I responded "I KNOW, we made a reservation exclusively for that. Is that noted somewhere?"He copped an attitude but then said "ok. I THINK we have some left". Ugh. So, the service was not ideal. Also, it was loud and clearly there were families in there that had just come back from Legoland or somewhere, because there were screaming children. Not really a big deal in a hotel environment because you kind of expect that, but don't go in expecting an "exclusive" experience here. That said, the food was AWESOME. Pork belly appetizer was the winner! The lobster was fantastic (although, we asked for extra of the sauce they put with it and it never came), and the potatoes on the side were great. Overall, I would love to go back and experience the food again, however, for the price, it's not worth putting up with the weak service. Also...that whole "dress code" thing. Don't stress. You're fine

My New "FAVORITE" restaurant find‼‼‼‼‼‼ TINLEAF FRESH…read moreKITCHEN‼‼ It opened in 2010 and I have lived in the area this whole time, not knowing how amazing it was!!! Please, do NOT be put off by the fact that it is in a strip center. Be HAPPY and GRATEFUL for the parking‼ I found myself looking for a nearby, spot on, go to "Cobb Salad". I had just been to their "sister" restaurant "The Black Rail" for a wonderful Monday burger, fries and glass of wine special. That is what led me next door to Tinleaf. So, I went alone for lunch...ordered the " West Coast Cobb" salad, an order of extra crispy Belgian French fries and a lovely Chardonnay. When ordering French fries...you get your choice of SEVEN dipping sauces‼‼ The Garlic, Chive Aioli is a winner‼ My West Coast Cobb featured panko-crusted chicken breast, bacon bits, hard-boiled egg, Gorgonzola cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, avocado and lovely mixed greens with a Buttermilk dressing. Is that NOT "Heaven in a Bowl"⁉ My fries were plentiful and perfect. The garlic chive aioli sauce was outstanding for the fries and ALSO for the panko-crusted chicken. I noticed a VERY brisk take out vibe going on. And, I'm going to keep this in mind. BECAUSE...my salad and fries could have easily fed TWO people. I, however, ate EVERY bite. I'm thinking...if I take it "to go" I'll get home and only eat HALF and store the rest away. It could happen‼ I'm looking forward to working my way through the menu...Meatloaf Sandwich, Turkey Pot Pie, Tri Tip Steak Salad, Grilled Salmon Sandwich. It is an "order at the counter" place and then they bring your meal to you. They also have patio dining. I'm thinking the "French Dip" with horseradish sauce is calling to me‼‼
