Are IKEA meals a good deal? I don't think so. Let me count the ways. First.... I say Monday through Friday deals are good if everyone is ordering the same thing.... But ppl don't like to eat the same things. If I'm doing my math right, I think getting them individually as sides make more sense really and there isn't much of a deal if you really do your math right. I'd elaborate but this will be longer to explain. Second.... Portions vs cost have dwindled. My next picture will illustrate. If you're using inflation as the result of the change, cost matching the portion makes a difference.... Third: you need to really pay attention to details of the deal because it would really make you do a double take on how much it feels like a scam with these so called deals. I love ikea don't get me wrong but the bistro has changed so much since the days after Covid. Servers are not as friendly and the portions leaves you questioning their pricing tactics. We still love the atmosphere of just kicking it in the bistro because the spacing gives us room to just lounge while other people in our group shop. read more

What happened here? I used to love (the ex location) to come here for a snack while shopping. A previous time we were here they didn't have their cinnamon buns, last time they didn't have frozen yogurt, ice-cream, nada, zilch, during the mid-summer mind you! They installed screens to order, pay with card, too much do it yourself. Once, I found a clerk to order and pay with cash. Second time, no one around. I like to pay cash for small purchases or have the option! They replaced people with machines (not OK!) and no wonder the humans left to work here are angry, surly, throwing things down. They know they'll get fired soon, too! Food- hot-dogs - pretty bad, crummy, gave us a stomach ache later. Pretzels- no flavor, didn't taste the salt or anything. Got through Too Good To Go & spent only $2.99 +tax, so my expectations were easily exceeded. I had never eaten at IKEA's Bistro before -- never tempted -- but the price was right. They gave me several items -- the cinnamon bun and cookies were great; the pretzel had almost no taste. And I just don't know what to make of the mash & meatballs/vegan meatballs. I suppose they were OK, but I didn't care for the jam on top. It's a cultural thing, though. The staff was working at the every end of the their day, so I can forgive the utter exhaustion in their voices, but it made it pretty much impossible for me to gauge service. I gave them a great star rating on the app because they more than met their obligations and the general description of the bag. I wouldn't pay FULL price to eat there, though. Having said that, they have some items that are very cheap, so never say "never". I suppose. read more

I love having my Sunday here, eat lunch and shop after. But today, I really had a BAD experience . This is alreaxy a cafeteria style and yet I don't think rushing your servers to plate the food and line them on top of the hot food display is not appropriate. The food especially the fish. Tsk!tsk! Tsk! Cafeteria manager please check on this. Whoever you are on duty today Sunday February 23 at 11am. COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All customers are expected to wear a mask too. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available for customers to go shopping with limited capacity. They are also sanitizing in between customers. After I was done grabbing some stuff from this establishment and grabbed some food from here several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is massive. They have so many parking lots and spots. Each parking spot is pretty massive, so you don't have to worry about people dinging your car. Food: I ordered 2 vanilla soft serve ice cream, 2 cinnamon buns, and 4 hot dogs. The vanilla soft service ice cream was wayyy to sweet for me, so I decided to remove a star. The cinnamon buns were also very sweet, small, and a bit hard. Their hot dogs were super tiny. They were nothing like the Costco hot dogs. You can probably fit 3 IKEA hot dogs into one of the Costco hot dogs. That's how small it is. The hot dog was still very good though. Staff: The staff here is very courteous, polite, fast, and efficient. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum. read more

I've been wanting to stop in and try this spot and I'm glad I did! It's such a pleasant experience to have some nice food and look at things and just escape. Decided to drop by IKEA on Saturday to check out outdoor furniture. Felt a bit hungry but didn't want a big meal because I'll be attending a party in less than a couple of hours. Since I was already in the store, I decided to get light bites from the restaurant. To my astonishment, there were about 100 people in line. Not even sure if IKEA was offering a free meal that day but even if it's free, no way Jose! Feeling disappointed, I headed to the exit and there I saw the bistro past the check outs. I immediately fell in line which moved really fast. Ordered a 75cents hotdog which I garnished with mustard and catsup. Sat down and started munching that warm, juicy hotdog. I was super happy that this simple staple somehow silenced the growling stomach without feeling overly full. Unlike the bistro in the old location, they now have water in the soda machines available for customers. Another addition is the free coffee for IKEA members. In the past, water and free coffee are available only in restaurants. The bistro also serves pizza, cinnamon buns, and sundaes. read more

Located at the exits of IKEA's these quick service and dirt cheap places are the happy places we go during food impulse purchases. Since it was a hot weekend I had to get the $1 ice cream cone. There's plenty more like cinnamon rolls, hot dogs soda and more. I've cream is soft serve but comes close to the type Chik-Fil-A serves, so it's a pretty good value. Other very cheap items include hot dogs. Cinnamon rolls, soda and more. If you need something quick and want to snack, start here before you start the shopping. read more
