    Cafeteria

I love having my Sunday here, eat lunch and shop after. But today, I really had a BAD experience . This is alreaxy a cafeteria style and yet I don't think rushing your servers to plate the food and line them on top of the hot food display is not appropriate. The food especially the fish. Tsk!tsk! Tsk! Cafeteria manager please check on this. Whoever you are on duty today Sunday February 23 at 11am. PLUS, I suggest all name tags shouldn't be hiding inside their Apron - it must be visible to customers at all times... Not a good experience today, hoping they can work on this. Just aheads up!

What a bistro!!!! IKEA Bistro is here it's at!!!! This place is all the rage! You can get your steps in, splurge a little on the IKEA furnishings, and truly enjoy a full evening here! Wanna enjoy an inexpensive night of Swedish inspired American infused cuisine? Look no further than here! Combination of serve yourself and buffet styled, plus discounted coffee and tea for IKEA members, it's the perfect spot for a Wednesday night!!! The service is great. They are very quick to help you and the cashier are always very helpful and kind. The food is delightful. We love the plant balls! Mashed potato's on point! Dessert selection is mouth watering and out of this world! Man oh man what a great greek salad. The best part is they tell you what's in everything so if you have food allergies, you know what to order. They have a ton of drink selections like seltzer, juice, sparkling water, tea, and really unique seltzer flavors. We love eating here after roaming the store. It's a 2 in 1! Also, you're at IKEA so you definitely have something to do before and after you shop!!!! Yay IKEA bistro!!!

COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All customers are expected to wear a mask too. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available for customers to go shopping with limited capacity. They are also sanitizing in between customers. After I was done grabbing some stuff from this establishment and grabbed some food from here several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is massive. They have so many parking lots and spots. Each parking spot is pretty massive, so you don't have to worry about people dinging your car. Food: I ordered 2 vanilla soft serve ice cream, 2 cinnamon buns, and 4 hot dogs. The vanilla soft service ice cream was wayyy to sweet for me, so I decided to remove a star. The cinnamon buns were also very sweet, small, and a bit hard. Their hot dogs were super tiny. They were nothing like the Costco hot dogs. You can probably fit 3 IKEA hot dogs into one of the Costco hot dogs. That's how small it is. The hot dog was still very good though. Staff: The staff here is very courteous, polite, fast, and efficient. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

circled is the bad fries Tsk tsk tsk

The mango caught my eye with its life-like ombré effect, and the (raspberry) framboise beckoned as well. Mango: Crackly white chocolate coating with tangy mango mousse, with coconut bits and cake on the base. It was a bit sour for my taste, but I tried it as it was one of their most popular items. Frambroise: Rich chocolatey mousse with crunchy bits and raspberry jam. I enjoyed this combo. I watched too many fruit mousse ASMR videos, so I was perhaps a little disappointed when the chocolate coatings did not audibly crunch, but I think it'd need to be placed in the freezer for that effect. I'd come back to try other pastries/cakes if I were in the area. Would love to eat one of everything in the case :9.

Light, silky, refreshing, and packed with tropical flavor without feeling too sweet. I also tried the raspberry chocolate pastry which was beautifully executed with raspberry compote and chocolate mousse, but I'm just very particular about chocolate-forward desserts. The iced vanilla latte was the perfect balance alongside the pastries, and I ended up leaving with a handful of macarons that were honestly addictive. Every flavor was delicious. Love the outdoor seating too. Perfect spot to slow down for a minute, enjoy a coffee, and have a really elevated pastry experience.

The pizza was absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of my visit. The pastries were good, but they didn't quite live up to the hype for me. Unfortunately, the customer service left a lot to be desired. My iced vanilla latte was extremely sweet--far sweeter than I could drink. When I ordered, I wasn't asked about my preferred sweetness level, nor was I told there were different options available. When I went back inside to ask if it could be remade, the original employee wasn't there. The employee who helped me seemed inconvenienced by my request and responded by saying, "Well, you have to tell them," even though I had no idea sweetness levels were customizable. Her body language and tone made me feel like I was asking for something unreasonable before she finally agreed to remake it. The replacement coffee was much better, but the interaction unfortunately took away from what could have been a great first impression. The bakery itself is clean, and the food has potential, but customer service is just as important as the product. Based on my overall experience, I don't see myself returning.

Do you have any sense?! Anyway, turns out that person was upset that their order got canceled on DoorDash. If that person ever saw the line at Lou's, she'd understand why. Better yet, if she ever tried Lou's, she'd never have the gall to post nonsense like that. If you haven't had it, don't review it. Simple as that. As for ALL of the items at Lou's "Oh, aimé-je" it does NOT get any better. The croissants are hands down the best in America. The sandwiches (all of them): finger-licking good. The éclairs are the most delectable in town, as are the other pastries. And with ALL of that, somehow the best thing is still the customer service. I have yet to walk in there without seeing Lou personally chatting it up with customers, the man is everywhere. On sunny and rainy days he's passing out umbrellas, and on Mother's Day he's handing out wonderful gifts for all the ladies. The staff take their lead from him and are every bit as splendid. If you haven't tried it yet, it's not too late -- run, don't walk, this weekend. Your taste buds will file a formal complaint if you don't.

The location is along a busy area, but during nighttime there are rarely cars around, so finding parking out front is easy! Stepping into the shop, you'll be transported into what feels like a retro ice cream parlor. With the florescent lights, a ET statue, and ice cream themed movie posters, it's like a blast from the past. There's ice cream, a variety of different flavored fresh cookies, a rack with pies, a self grab freezer with pints of ice cream, AND a freezer with ice creams, dog treats, and chicken pot pie. There's so many options, I've been there a handful of times with my boyfriend and we've ordered something different every time and it always tastes great! There aren't any seats inside of the ice cream parlor, but there are benches right out front that you can sit on to eat your treats. Sliders makes for a fun little adventure to get some ice cream any day of the week!
