Just popped in for a drink after getting my nails done with my daughter, I was visiting her because she just got confirmed. #YayMia. The bartender gave excellent customer service. The ambience is very chill.

We stumbled across this outstanding find while strolling the streets of Boston. Great service, unique tastes (TRY THE BANANA PANCAKES!) and modern ambiance. Would definitely return!

Service was sketchy -- waitress took order, but didn't check in -- twice we had to ask another server to get our waitress. Extensive menu - breakfast and lunch/dinner options. We opted for lunch fare. The Mediterranean grain bowl didn't look like much food when served, but it was surprisingly filling. The skillet cornbread and steak rolls were very good.

Another great meal here. Friendly and attentive servers. We shared some cornbread (the best!)- she had a salad with grilled chicken and I had grilled cheese with tomato soup. Everything was fantastic. So many great menu options.

Place was pretty empty at 2:00 pm so was worried but was great...Nina greeted us and was awesome. We got 3 apps and they were all great. The place is well decorated. My wife loved the clams had lobster bisque broth and bread was very good. Would absolutely return.

I thought I would give them another try because I did not have the best experience during my first visit. Sadly, the service is just as inconsistent and poor as what most people have described as well as as what I experienced during my first visit. Again, the food was good with a lot of creative touches. I had requested two additional proteins, including duck, and Salmon and specifically requested that it would be just seared while being very rare. Unfortunately, as you can tell from the photo, it was cooked medium, which tends to make salmon dry. Fortunately, they replaced it, and it was much better. My issue is the server who attended to us just seemed very disorganized and truly did not seem to enjoy what she was doing. She almost seemed reluctant to even talk to people. We waited for a while for her to even come around and had to flag her down. She would tend to walk by and look the other way just as she was passing her tables. We eventually found another server who would get her attention. She never came by to refill our waters until we requested it. Another server eventually gave us a large bottle of water which I think was protocol. The server who eventually replaced her was much much better and seemed much more professional. However, our original server eventually came back and just seemed very apathetic. Needless to stay, we did not tip her at all. Not sure how they can stay in business with such poor and inconsistent service. I don't care how good the food is when service is lacking.

Nachos

Food: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Food was decent but depended on what you got. I really enjoyed the potato gnocchi with truffle parm sauce, the nachos were above average from what I expected from restaurant nachos, and my pork belly tacos were very delicious, despite my hesitation of watermelon in a taco. However, my friends' who'd ordered beef had both of their dishes overcooked from how they'd asked them to be prepared (the medium rare was close to medium/medium well, while the medium well was just well done). The service was a tad slow, we had a reservation and they still took a bit to get us seated. Our server took a while to get to us and wasn't able to read her own handwriting, so she had to come back and ask what we ordered again. In their defense, there was a massive party being served inside, and I'm glad she asked us over getting our food wrong, but the restaurant was otherwise empty. Ambiance inside was very nice, the bar was long and had plenty of seating. We sat outdoors because of the nice weather and they were just plastic picnic benches but it was clean and comfortable. Overall good experience, nothing notable but I enjoyed my food and I would go back.

Strawberry Orange Berry Nojito

Cute place. The servers were extremely friendly and the food was enjoyable! I absolutely love the respective menus for mocktails and eggs Benedict, the two things I get most excited to see on a menu. The Strawberry Orange Berry Nojito was nice and light. I wanted something flavorful but wasn't in the mood for ham so the variety of options for eggs Benedict were exciting. I chose the eggs Benedict with pulled pork. A good decision! It was an adjustment to have pulled pork without the moisture and flavor from the BBQ sauce that it is typically prepare with, but who knew eggs went well with pulled pork? I thought it was an interesting take on a favorite. I am extremely picky about hollandaise and this one was not bad but not outstanding. What I hate most is when hollandaise has an overwhelming amount of lemon in it and this one did not commit that crime. Just a little bit bland but not egregious. The potatoes were very well seasoned. The croissant French toast was great, texturally balanced. Nothing I hate more than a soggy French toast and this one had no sogginess. I only wished for some fruit or whipped cream personally. Pros: creative and fresh menu options, friendly staff Cons: lacking intensity in the flavor department (only slightly!)

We came here with little kids and the crew accommodated our needs very well. The food was very good. Combined with decent drinks and a good vibe, it made for a great evening. A good hangout spot if you're in the neighborhood. They also have a dedicated vegetarian and vegan menu, which worked out well for folks in our crew.

The veggies had a great texture and the rice I was amazed at the flavor. Got the Sweet Potato ample cheesecake for dessert and well let's just say that plate was clean! I found the top layer a tad sweet so half way scooped that off to eat the cake and cheesecake part. lol The service was also lovely as the bartender was friendly, attentive and made me laugh. And the sweet sauce they put on it was horrendous. My stomach hurt the entire day. If you're not going to use quality bagels and quality bacon, you should not be charging almost $13 a sandwich. your menu should also list the ingredients line by line. I don't typically drink coffee but if I ever get there early enough I'll try the Crème Brûlée, Vienna Pistachio, or their signature latte. As a tea lover they also have some additional retail items for you to browse for tea steeping and gift sets. The only downside and maybe that's what makes it not as crazy busy on weekends as Tatte is that I want even more options. You can also order whole cakes too if one slice isn't enough. Cazuela de Coliflor Asada (9/10): Insanely good dish. The cauliflower has perfect texture, complemented by the pistachios. The sauce is SO good. The cauliflower soaks it up so well. Chicharrones (9/10): Melt in your mouth pork belly. The pork skin crust was perfect. The sauces really make most of the dishes here. This dish is no different - I loved the sauce. Ropa Vieja (9/10): Perfectly slow cooked meat. One thing that really stood out to me was actually the white rice. The rice was VERY high quality, and I appreciated it so much. It's rare to come by rice this good. It had the perfect texture, chew, and fragrance. Ropa Vieja de Hongos (9/10): Pretty much the same as Ropa Vieja above. The mushrooms are delicious, and the dish is just as good whether your order the mushroom or steak version. Empanada del Carne (9/10): Oh man, the crusts are so good. This is pretty on par with the ones I just had in Puerto Rico. Chuletas de Cordero (8/10): The seasoning is heavenly. I was licking the lamb chops clean. Croquetas (8/10): Very solid croquetas. Wouldn't say it's a must-order, but you can't go wrong with them. I've been here for both of my sisters' graduation brunches, and we always leave happy. It's become one of our favorite spots for a celebratory brunch. For drinks, I tried their new Vanilla Bean Matcha Latte with oat milk. It was a bit thicker than I expected--possibly because of the oat milk. I can definitely see some people loving that texture, but for me it was just okay. That said, it was still a good drink, and the hint of vanilla came through nicely without overpowering the matcha. For food, we ordered a variety of dishes for the table. 1. The chicken and waffles had so much flavor, and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly--not too runny, but still soft, gooey, and delicious. The chicken was a little soggy, but it made up for it by being incredibly tender. 2. The blueberry pancake was fantastic. Their pancake portions are huge, so this time we only ordered one to share. It was delicious, though definitely on the heavier side. 3. The house burger was easily the standout dish of the meal and might be my favorite item on the menu. It's simple and classic, but packed with flavor. 4. The chicken burger, on the other hand, was disappointing. The chicken was quite dry, and I probably wouldn't order it again. I think something like pickled onions or another acidic topping could help bring some balance and moisture to the sandwich. 5. We also tried the omelet, which was very good, especially with the goat cheese. What really made the experience special was that the staff noticed we were celebrating a graduation and surprised us with complimentary donuts. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely way to end the meal.

Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I ordered an Old-Fashioned and my companion a glass of chardonnay, both of which came promptly and were enjoyable. My companion asked about a favorite no longer on the menu, a salad with grilled chicken, and after checking with the kitchen our server was happy to report it could be ordered. My companion asked for dressing on the side and unfortunatel the salad came out dressed. Our server was happy to return it to the kitchen and it came out after not too much time had elapsed, the way she'd ordered it. I'm always skeptical that ribs will be fall-off-the-bone but these were close. Unfortunately, they seemed a little off; I still can't decide if they were on the dry side, lacking in flavor, or both.
