The mini deep-dish extreme pepperoni pizza was off the charts with pepperoni spiciness.  Typical round slices, small chunks, and "strings"  cover this tiny pizza. The mozzarella sticks arrive in plenty,  but did not have a good flavor to us. The crunch was not there and there was something off about the taste. The ambiance at this location is always on point. Very intimate lighting and an open floor plan. Since this location is so large it can get CROWDED and if that is not your vibe you will need to check out their less popular time slots. That being said: This go around we had two appetizers. The avocado egg rolls and the potstickers. Personally I think I am just not a fan of warm avocados, because I love avocado and these egg rolls were simply not my favorite. I would not get them again. The potstickers were also not my favorite. Definitely something I could buy frozen and make at home. For my entree, I got the parmesan crusted chicken with white cheddar mashed potatoes and the couscous mac and cheese. My entree was great as usual but you can see the presentation is a bit messy. I've always enjoyed Bj's. The experience is usually pretty consistent and good service. My family had dinner here last night. We were seated quickly and our waitress was great. My wife enjoyed her chicken pita tacos and our niece enjoy her chicken tenders. I had an appetizer as my entree bc I wasn't very hungry so I order the avocado egg rolls. Now I normally order the avocado egg rolls but last night I had to send it back to the kitchen. As promised I said I would come back to see if the experience was as good as the first time. I am pleased to say it was. Even though the location seems like a busy area, the restaurant was positioned for easy access. This time I took my friend with me. I ordered the Tavern cut gourmet 5-meat pizza. I am a meat lover so it was right up my alley. The meat was cooked just right for me, a little crispy, and the cheese was also good (I don't typically like cheese except on pizza :-) I loved it and was able to take some home for a late snack. The server was sweet, knew the menu well and was able to help me decide on which pizza to get since they have so many to choose from. They nailed it with the delivery and the food options! I used to eat at BJ's often but decided to order in and am glad I did. Promptly delivered and great updates from the cooking to driving to final delivery. I had the garlic parmesan wings and sliders and both were on point! Wings seemed like they were braised some, tender, juicy, and extremely flavorful. Bite-through skin is always a must and these were perfectly cooked. Never ever again will I give this place a chance!! Essentially I was lied to about the food I wanted and the table and napkins were all dirty... So usually what is amazing about this place is their prime rib. I feel like it's the best bang for your buck kinda deal and the quality is amazing. However I know prime ribs take time to cook so I always make sure to call ahead and ask if they got any, I called and they said we have some, nice so I proceed to drive there. Once I arrived and after sitting down I explained to the server that me and my wife are here for the prime rib only and proceeded to order our drinks, the server Monica came back and informed us it would actually take 40 minutes for it to be ready (this is where we should have left and take the warning). So I was like no problem, waiting 40 mins for the amazing prime rib will definitely be worth the wait, however as time passes by it has actually already been an hour and then the manager suddenly shows up saying "I dunno who told you that it will only take 40 more minutes, but the prime rib actually needs 1 more hour to be done" (so technically 2 hours from when I placed the order). The manager didn't seem to care that we were mislead and lied too, the server Monica didn't even come by to say sorry for the miscommunication or anything so we just paid for our drinks and left because I didn't want to deal with them anymore. So never again, and Monica if you are reading this, you really destroyed the BJ's service standards read more

Okay so I came to this BJ's on the 29th of December after coming from the symphony with my little one and another party. Act One: When we arrived, after being seated, we were greeted by our server. I ordered a glass of vino from the bar. When the vino arrived, it tasted like the glass that was poured was from a bottle that had already been corked and sitting out. While I understand that a restaurant is not a wine bar serving blends such as a 2007 Klein Constantia Vin de Constance, I do expect the mid-level glasses of Cabernet Sauvignon served to be palatable. Accordingly, I asked the wine be returned to the bartender as it tasted turned. When the waitress returned the glass to the bartender noting my comments about the glass coming from a bottle that seemed to have been opened/turned, he laughed as if I was being ridiculous. Act Two: Moving past this debacle, I ordered something else from the bar. My party and I also ordered nachos and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks that were brought out to the table were COLD! The nachos were okay but clearly not traditional nachos, but that was not expected from this type of establishment. The presentation of the check: The turned wine was still on the check when it was presented to me. I asked that it be removed. When the waitress did come back with the revised check, it wasn't an itemized revision, thus I could not determine if the bill was indeed correct. The head of our party had called on a Wednesday asking to make reservations for a large group for the following Sunday. He was told they don't take reservations for the weekends however if he were to call back Sunday morning, they would be able to accommodate us. Sunday morning comes around and the head of our party called and he was given the green light to come in at 6pm. 6pm rolls around and we are told they couldn't accommodate us. 2 of their servers had called out so they told us we'd have to wait until the 2 servers they did have, only had 2 tables each left. They say this as they're still continuing to sit smaller parties, adding to the tables we'd have to wait on leaving before we could even be sat. I haven't been to a BJ's in over 5 years due to poor customer service and mediocre food. I wouldn't have stepped in this place at all today if not for the group I was with but this experience reminded me why I don't come here. It's subpar food and service cosplaying as fine dining. There are so many other fantastic restaurants in the area. Do yourself, your date, your family, whoever you're taking out, a favor and choose something else. We ended up going to the Punch Bowl over at the Domain instead and had a great dinner! They also only had a couple of servers and while service wasn't fast, they were able to accommodate us without reservations after the let down at BJ's. PS. I had been to a BJ's before in New York and found my experience here to be much more in line with a Cheesecake Factory type restaurant than before which was more like a sports bar. The menu here is long enough that you could stare at it for hours on end and not feel confident in your order. Most of the dishes have enormous portions, with one notable exceptions, and the desserts are over the top. My group started with the honey sriracha Brussels sprouts and the nachos. Knowing a few pizookies were coming later, I passed on the nachos. The Brussels sprout were cooked to a nice consistency where there was slight crunch. The flavor was good, but it was much closer to buttery than honey sriracha. For my entree I had the shrimp quinoa bowl, which was the only dish to come out where i wished the portion was a bit bigger. It ridiculously small, but it was smaller than you'd get at a fast casual bowl place for about 1.5x the price. Unfortunately it also paled in comparison to most fast casual bowl places in terms of flavor. Any bite I had that wasn't covered in the hot sauce I asked for on the side was a disappointment compared to the ones that were. By far the best part of the meal were the pizookies. For those unfamiliar (including me before this meal) a pizookie is a warm cookie in a small deep dish pizza plate with a scoop or two of ice cream on top. It is as incredible as it sounds and they have upwards of 10 different kinds. If you're with a large group I recommend sharing a few and immediately slipping into a food coma. Overall, nothing too special, but for 3$ pizookies on Tuesday you can't go wrong. read more

Our family in Austin for reason known to them like this restaurant. Huge location and plenty of seats and many screens with sports on the Saturday we went. Out of the group of 10 of us 1 was vegans and 2 vegetarian. Decent Vegetarian choices but next to nothing vegan choice and the server also not confident out the vegetarian choices which are or can be made vegan. Did get seated properly and food did arrive fairly soon. The service attentive. The food - the vegetarian pizza and baked Ziti pasta dish were good. The Peruvian Quinoa Bowl was classified as vegetarian but could not get a clear answer if it was vegan as all the questions we asked came as negative. So the menu is not perhaps classified correctly.
