This restaurant is average at best another overpriced corporate restaurant that cuts cost on food so that it's a lower quality. I just don't see the Wow factor here. There is nothing bringing me back. The beer is just ok for the hefty price, and the food is not exceptional either. I love a good French dip and this sandwich just had that old taste to it or microwaved feeling like you just know it was microwaved instead of put under the broiler. I'm just not impressed for it being a 16.00 sandwich. I just want better. Maybe if the decreased the size of their enormous menu they can focus on quality instead of quantity. However, the atmosphere is always nice here, you can just come here after work and enjoy a few beers or an appetizer but plan on spending at least 50 dollar bill. I don't know why places like this don't offer a service industry night it would bring in business from others around the community who know food the best. A little underwhelming. New building, modern look. Was thinking this would be top notch microbrewery/restaurant. I failed to realize that some microbrewery,s have chains. Like this one. Defeating the whole idea from the start. It's a chain restaurant that makes its own beer. And the beer was horrible. I got a golden flight of beers. From pales to a stout. They had other flights to choose from so results may vary. But the beers I tried were in my opinion just bad. Non rounded flavor profiles. Had a cloudy pale that tasted skunkey. I have had much better Comercial beers. And much better small brew beers. Beer was very amerturish. Told the manager my opinion, and she brought me more to try. Just not good. She was friendly though. Wife got a peach Margarita, that was overly sweet, a weak screwdriver. And a spicey sobe noodle dish. That was absolutely nothing special. They had a large varied menu. Went there for lunch on Sunday. The appetizers that we ordered where gross. Avocado egg rolls. Told our waitress that they where gross and she never removed them off my receipt told me she gave me her employee discount? Party of 3 and only ate 3 and left 6 on the plate. They where brown and mushy. Certainly didn't look anything like the picture in the menu. Got sliders all it was a cut hamburger x4 and the lettuce was brown and looked like the just threw everything on the plate. Poor display of food! We sat at our table for nearly 30 minutes for someone to take our order. It was another 30 minutes to get our order, but the fries did not come out with our dinner. We had to wait 10 minutes more for those! The waitress came around as we were ready to leave to fill our water glasses as they sat empty throughout the meal. We will never eat here again. read more

This place has the potential to be 5 stars. I went here with family. First, our server Eddy was on it. Ask for him. However, our food didn't live up to the hype. Now this place is mostly known for their pizza, my sister got that and it was good. I got the parmesan crusted chicken. It was dry and hardly had any of the lemon sauce it's supposed to be drenched in, my mom's steak was overcooked and my brother in laws was way over cooked. Drinks were great: Alabama Sunset, American Mule, Watermelon Mojito.. Their drinks are all good. They removed the two meals off of the bill which was nice and offered a free drink. Manager stopped by and he was good to us. Eddy though, the server, handled everything really well and he was busy. Had the salted caramel dessert and that was DELICIOUS. He was funny, engaging, so polite, gave us recommendations but first asked our likes and dislikes first. He has is passionate about your product, and it absolutely comes through. Top shelf place. I usually sit at the bar and the bartenders are phenomenal. They are very attentive to all your needs. They all go beyond good service. I go there at least two or three times a month. Never a disappointment. Everything I've ever tried has been fantastic. They have great clam chowder. And you can get it in a bread bowl. Friday and Saturday they have prime rib that is killer. I would highly recommend this place. And by the way, their brewhouse blonde is a fantastic beer. read more

Our first time there last night left something to be desired. Let me say first that the beers we're very good, it's cool atmosphere, and the staff was pleasant. In general though the kitchen struggled. We sat at the bar since it was very busy, ordered beers and got them quickly and asked for a water at this time. Ordered our food including a salad, appetizer, and two entrees. The salad was brought out, followed about five minutes later by our entrees. When asked about our app the server seemed confused. Our bartender came to see what the issue was and wet back to the kitchen to try and recitfy it. Then a manager came out with our app apologized and said it was taken off the bill. Much appreciated. So now we have a salad, two entrees, an and beers on the bar. It's a mess. Then we go to eat and my husband's up charged fries are wrong and my avocado on my soba noodles it oxidized and brown... So again or bartender runs back to get the correct fries. My meal though oxidized is good so I let it go. The bartender asks about dessert and we decide to split one. We wait twenty minutes trying to flag her down to order this, still can't and end up getting another bartender to order it for us. So needless to say this will not become a regular stop for us. It's not bad at all, but you have to ignore the disorganization and if I'm spending $100 on dinner for two I don't think you should have to deal with it. read more

I just had the best burger in a long time. It was called the Brewhouse burger and t was awesome! The burger was cooked perfect and the bun held all the juicy condiments in ! Today was my last visit to BJ's in Boardman. The service has gone down that bad. They are not under staffed by any means, however the staff could care less about you. Mainly the front that seats you or takes orders to go. I ordered a tavern cut pizza (spicy pig) and when I got home , there was no pineapple on it. It was cold and awful. The guy in the front was so rude and lazy. Tried it again and waited 40 minutes for a to go burger that they said would take 15 minutes. It's not even that it took so much longer than they said... it's that they didn't care. I even said my lunch hour is almost over and got no response. The 2 girls in the front were uncaring and had a not my problem attitude. Got back to work with my order and the lettuce and tomato that was supposed to be on the side wasn't there. NO BRISKET ON MY BRISKET BACON BURGER. DRY MEAT TERRIBLY OVER COOKED. I have eaten at BJ Brewhouse in Canton and now four times in Boardman,OH. They have Omission beer on the menu but never have it in stock. I have eaten the hickory brisket bacon burger on another occasion and it was very good. Today I ordered the same meal and received a burnt burger that was as dry as the bun it was served on. I asked where the " brisket" was and the server brought me a two (2) OZ cup of brisket and said the manager said that's all the burger is supposed to have. I said thank you but originally it had NO brisket. The server was kind and helpful with our kitchen issues. Our chicken sandwich was supposed to have honey mustard and came plain. We never received napkins or silverware during the entire dining experience. Very poor kitchen and lackluster service. Poor management overall. Not worth the price. I'll be picking a different lunch spot next time for sure. Look at this dry burger. read more

I called ahead when they opened and the hostess said there wasn't a need to call ahead. The manager seated us quickly once we arrived and diverted our 1 hour seating wait. The waitress didn't know what was gluten free. 1st time there and food was great. Burger was cooked medium as i ordered it. Fries are amazing. Pulled pork sandwich was delicious and lotsa bbq sauce. Iced coffee and rootbeer were even a hit. We went to BJ's for a corporate dinner, it was to treat some long-standing employees. I was one of them. I ordered the Jambalaya. Big Mistake! 140% of your daily sodium intake in one meal! It was so salty so as to be inedible, and I love ramen noodles! It would have been better to have put a salt lick in my dinner dish, it would have been less salty. There is no reason to have had a 'blackened' dish so salt-loaded. You could have accomplished the same, or much better, flavour without so much salt. The only reason I was able to tell the shrimp from the sausage from the chicken was the texture. So over the top saltiness, this menu item should never be offered to the public. My first thought at my first taste was this meal was wholly inedible. And my second thought. And my third thought. And so forth. You can serve a 'blackened' Cajun dish with far much less salt. Will I ever go back? No way. If I could give less than 1 out of ten, I would. read more

Saturday afternoon in July. Patio is open seating. Sat right down at 5p. Waiter came to us in 5min. Ordered in 20min. Wife's sliders were missing the added cheese. Had to tell three people to get it. You have one waiter but he doesn't bring food nor drinks so at times you don't know who to ask. Had to ask for water refills. Jeremiah red was delicious. Wife had the blonde, also delicious. I had the Nashville hot crispy chicken sandwich. Pretty good, good size not overwhelming. Crispy warm fries with little too much salt. But still good. Slow service on the patio. Went tonight for our 10th Anniversary. Appetizer was good. It was downhill from there! Service was absolutely awful!! Our server was beyond clueless, she couldn't answer 75% of our questions. We had to ask for drink refills and take home containers. We had to wait for drinks,food and our check to be processed. The meals were fair at best. I had a steak it was drastically smaller than the menu showed, which was fine for me. But if my husband had ordered that he would have been really hungry. Steak was over cooked my green beans were hard and tasteless and my husband's burger was fair. Based on the crowds each time we drove past, I expected a home run. Clearly it's just the novelty of a new place. UPDATE: BJ's corporate office sent us an e gift card due to our lousy experience above. We decided not to endure the lousy service again and just get takeout. The food was so bad the first time we didn't want to invest too much beyond what our gift card offered. So we both stuck to chicken sandwiches.Honestly we thought they had to get it right this time right? WRONG!!! Not only was my sandwich lacking any of the toppings, it was supposed to have but both of our French fries were dry and tasteless. The sandwiches again fair at best. We could have gone to Chick Fil A and had better! This place has bad food period. The appetizers are ok but once your past that forget it.
