Enlightened Strawberry Fields Salad With Chicken
    Akira K.

My wife and I got the brussel sprouts, strawberry field salad, and ahi tuna salad. We got our meals before our appetizer but not a huge deal everything was delicious. We went during a weekday and it was surprisingly busy! We got a pizookie as well but ate it before we got a chance to take a picture. Would come back here again.

We came here for a party and overall the food was okay. The wings we had could've been cooked for a few more minutes, the skin wasn't really crispy. Our meals were good (well mine was better). I had the Chicken Parmigiana with extra sauce. My husband had the Parmesan Encrusted Chicken which wasn't as favorable. It had been sitting under the light and wasn't hot when it got to be table. Possibly would've been better had it came out on time but there isn't a good way to eat cold mashed potatoes and hard unseasoned broccoli. We were attending a birthday party at the time so maybe that's what contributed to the delay in bringing our food out but it did take away from our experience. I would try it again in hopes of a better experience as there are some drinks and desserts I'd be interest in trying

Went to dinner at BJ's brewhouse a few weeks ago. Always love the ambiance inside BJ's. Lots of tvs on with college sports on. We got seated right away and the hostess was very nice. Our waitress was friendly but she didn't visit our table to check for refills or anything very often. I got the Tri tip which was very good. The mixed veggies that it came with were kind of pathetic. It did not add to the dish at all. Kinda a let disappointment . The mashed potatoes were good. Portions seem to be getting smaller as well for a higher price. (Stupid inflation) Dessert we had the monkey bread pizookie. It was awesome. Must have been an off night. We will be back of course!

Dinner tonight at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse in Cary, North Carolina. This was not a planned stop but glad we decided to give it a try. My husband had the Tri Tip with a house salad and rice. He said it was cooked right and tender. I had the Spicy Pig pizza and it was really good! I also had a lemon drop martini that was perfect! We ended the meal sharing the Triple Chocolate Pizookie...definitely yummy!

Stepping into BJ's sports bar is like walking into a river of noise, where laughter and cheers crash against each other like waves. The air is warm with the scent of salt and grease. Screens glow like constellations across the walls, each one orbiting its own small universe of players and scores. Beneath it all hums the heartbeat of strangers gathered for the same ritual: the clink of glasses, the rising shout, the hush before the next play. This sports bar suffers from a full-blown culinary identity crisis. The menu looks like it was written by a committee that never met each other: tacos elbowing in next to pasta, burgers flirting awkwardly with avocado egg rolls, and a section called "Sandwiches and Tacos" that is hardly sandwich and barely taco. It's as if someone Googled "foods people like" and copy-pasted the first 200 results. The vibe screams Bud Light and touchdowns, but the menu thinks it's auditioning for Top Chef: International Confusion. Order anything and you're basically signing up for an edible coin toss. Rumor has it this place started as a pizza joint, but what arrives at the table calls itself deep dish, but it looks more like something rescued from a high school cafeteria tray. The crust is thick but joyless, the sauce is a rumor at best, and the cheese is sprinkled on like an afterthought. Instead of the indulgent, molten pie you imagined, you get a sad bread bowl with stage fright. Enjoy the beer and service, Cheers!

    Huge open space sports bar!

Dawn was our server today. She was cheerfully making suggestions such as the Smoke House burger with onion rings. It was delicious and hit the spot for lunch. Ambience is casual with music and many diverse sports actio large screen televisions. The service is fast and accurate hot and ready from the kitchen. I highly recommend BJ's fun for family, couples, large groups in a private room. The full bar is magnificently stocked with many liquors, many brew House brands and soft drinks to satisfy everyone. Huge amount of parking in well marked and lighted parking lot and two handicapped zones Revolving door and large doors access a large open space air-conditioned summer and heated in winter. You need to check this place out!

I'm originally from California where I had a BJ's in my hometown and loved the options it offered. When I moved to the East Coast, there wasn't one anywhere near me. When I first came to Cary, NC and saw that one was here I always make sure to stop by at least once during my stay. BJ's as a whole offers rewards at each of their locations which is great for those who come often. They have a M-F happy hour that gives great discounts on appetizers and drinks. The interior offers plenty of seating and exudes a "bar-like" atmosphere. My husband and I sat at the bar which was not super busy upon arrival. We ordered two appetizers to share, and each got one menu item for ourselves. The food tasted great, and as I do on every visit, I partook in one glass of BJ's own Berry Burst Cider. Always a favorite of mine!

I ordered the BJ's Brewhouse Protein Bowl - vegetarian and GF I was surprised that this was a little spicy. I didn't have trouble with my stomach though. I asked for extra dressing which was a creamy dressing and went well with it. My husband had the small deep dish pizza, Pepperoni Extreme. He liked it very much. All in all it was a very good meal.

"Deep dish pizza" from pazookie menu

Ordered a deep dish pizza and received this. Unbelievable! On top of that, all of my party's food came cold and stale. I do not recommend eating here, food is overpriced and gross! Never even received my pazookie that ordered.

My family and I visited this restaurant after going to the movies on Friday night, July 5, 2024. We did not have reservations, but as they were not very busy, we were able to get seated right away. It has a great atmosphere conducive for solo visits and large groups. The staff was professional and friendly. We did not feel rushed so we were able to take our time perusing the menu and ordering several dishes. Our server, Chloe H, was delightful. She took great care of us and brought our dishes out in a timely manner. I had lots of questions about menu items, and she was gracious enough to spend some time answering my questions and making sure that I had all the information that I needed. We ordered various things from the menu. The food in general was good, but there was no pizzazz. My lemon pepper wings were OK, but was not what I imagined for it being roasted and prepared in the way that it was described in the menu. The lemon pepper seasoning was not ingrained in the flavor of the wings. It was more like if the lemon pepper seasoning was sprinkled over the wings. I enjoyed the onion rings but again it was just standard, nothing special. The surf and turf and salmon dishes were alright. Of everything ordered, the highlight was the PIZOOKIE®. Overall, we had an enjoyable time with our visit at this restaurant. We did visit this restaurant after 9:30 PM at night so perhaps that's why we didn't have that level of excitement about the food. I will consider visiting this restaurant a little earlier on in the day at another time to see if there's a difference in the quality of the food.

Their roast beef panini is on par with Portillo's a long standing Chicago beef restaurant (IYKYK). I've NEVER had a beef sandwich that was better than Portillo's but Postino you managed to take a hometown classic and elevate it to a point beyond my expectations - if you get this sandwich I recommend getting it on the ciabatta bread versus focaccia. Let's not overlook the tomato soup - it's so rich and flavorful. For a lighter lunch my go to is the tuna panini with broccoli salad. They are known for their boards, I've not had the bruschetta yet but it looks delicious. My favorite board is the hummus. One thing I hate is when a restaurant gives you a big bowl of hummus and not enough pita. That is not the case here, you'll get pita, toasted bread, and a variety of vegetables to scoop up the velvety humus covered in cherry tomatoes, red onion and feta. For date night enjoy a Violet Femme a gin cocktail that tastes as lovely as it looks. The service here is top notch! Everyone is fantastic. I'll have to come back to this review to note the serves names we've had because they have all been exceptional. Now let's talk about the vibe! Postino's nailed the indoor/outdoor feel. Plenty of windows that are open on nice days, plants galore and the decor gives you a cool like rockstar but classy feel. 5 stars doesn't feel like enough.

The staff who greeted us was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were sat with the stipulation that there was a reservation behind us in an hour and a half which was very doable for us. My fiance loved his old fashioned with an orange and fig bourbon. Our waiter was direct and down to business, likely because they were busy, but a great waiter none the less. The food was excellent! Elevated American bar food that was cooked to perfection and had some nice fusion flavors: sesame tuna with edamame, goat cheese, walnuts and a special kind of beet that made my salad fresh and earthy. Truffle and onions with smashed burger dipped in bubbly cheese is a comfort food dream. Same with the Mac n cheese with bacon, really tickles the indulgence fancy! It felt $2 overpriced in both instances. I don't know if I'd get again, but the fries were seasoned well. My fiancé ordered the braised pork shoulder. The meat was tender and had a decent flavor. The mac and cheese was okay, nothing special. Overall, the dish was drowned in too much barbecue sauce to the point he felt he was eating more sauce than the entree. Once we were seated I started by ordering the Long Time Listener Cocktail (Bourbon, Blackberry, Mint, Fernet-Branca) which was excellent and probably my favorite drink of the evening. For my other drink I tried the Structured Settlement (coconut washed tequila, peach, popcorn orgeat, and lime). This drink was also good, but not as good as the long time listener. For food, we started with the Manchego-Herb Biscuits which were flaky, soft, and didn't need any butter. After that we tried the Heirloom Tomato Salad (provencal granola, mozzarella ice cream, and peaches) which was perfect. The large tomato with the crunchy granola, olive oil, and mozzarella and peaches were the perfect blend of flavors. I couldn't stop eating this dish. Next, we tried the Half Smoke Sausage (roasted peppers, garlic aioli, balsamic onion jus) which surprised me. The sausage had a bit of a spicy flavor, the roasted peppers were prepared perfectly, and overall the flavors paired perfectly together. We also ordered the Bucatini (sea urchin, gulf prawn, spicy tomato sauce) which was good with the pasta and all of the flavors mixed together. The last appetizer we ordered was the yellowfin tuna crudo (honeydew, Fresno chili, shiso, tom yum ice) which was perfect. The sliced honeydew with the raw yellowfin was so good!! For the entree we split the Grilled Bavette Steak (potato rosti, shishito pepper, and sauce choron). The steak cut like butter and was cooked perfectly. For dessert we ordered the blueberry upside down cake (popcorn streusel, sweet corn ice cream) which had fresh blueberries and I couldn't stop eating this dish. The hostess appeared to be very young, possibly around 19 or 20, and she looked visibly uncomfortable and frightened. I sincerely hope this young woman is okay and that this situation is taken seriously and thoroughly addressed by Crawford & Son. No employee should ever feel intimidated, uncomfortable, or subjected to inappropriate physical contact in the workplace. To kick things off, we each ordered a refreshing Lone Rider wheat beer along with two appetizers. The Shoestring Okra Fries were a fun twist on a Southern classic--crispy, lightly seasoned with chili citrus seasoning, and even better dipped in the tangy lime mayo. We also shared the Artichoke Dip, which arrived bubbling hot, creamy, and perfect for spreading on the toasted bread. For brunch, we went with two very different dishes, and both were excellent. The Asparagus & Mushroom Omelet was fluffy and packed with flavor from the goat cheese and pickled onions, while the buttery biscuit with jam on the side was a nice Southern touch. The Fried Green Tomato & Bacon Benedict was the standout of the meal. Crispy fried green tomatoes, perfectly poached eggs, smoky bacon, and rich hollandaise came together beautifully without feeling overly heavy. We couldn't leave without one more treat. The Strawberry Kiwi Margarita was bright, fruity, and balanced with just enough tequila and a zesty spiced citrus rim to keep it refreshing. To finish, we shared an Affogato, the perfect ending with creamy ice cream and a shot of hot espresso. If you're planning a Sunday brunch in Cary, make a reservation--you'll be glad you did. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
